Wagging our way around town 🐾
I started off my Rover journey in Seattle for a few years until COVID hit, and continued to watch pets offline for military families while living in Japan for the past 5 years. Now that I’m back in the US, I’m eager to start up my Rover services again! I am mostly experienced with small-medium dogs, with breeds like terriers, poodles, chihuahuas, corgis, and shelties. I grew up caring for hamsters and parakeets, and started getting more involved with dogs and cats in university as I volunteered with local shelters and rescues. I’ve raised 2 dogs of my own, and also took in a stray kitten for a few weeks until finding a permanent home for her. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, but more recently I’ve learned a lot about caring for senior dogs as my own dog has entered the geriatric age and needs more patience and empathy. If you have a senior dog that needs special attention, I’m happy to accommodate their needs so you can have peace of mind that your pup is being cared for while you’re away.

I respect that every dog has individual needs. Whether they need extra time to warm up or want space from other walkers when out and about, I will learn and your pet’s preferences and advocate for them in public spaces to ensure they are safe and comfortable.

Aileen was a wonderful sitter, and her dog Linux was the perfect play mate for my dog! Aileen sent me frequent updates, and was prompt to respond to my messages. My dog came home happy and relaxed. I highly recommend Aileen!
Aileen is a responsible and loving dog caregiver as she has one of her own dogs she takes very good care of. She keeps him active by playing games with him, taking him on long hikes and walks, and always finding them to bring him out with friends and go traveling with her. She was also very good at watching over friends' dogs and making sure they got the same love and care as her own. She's reliable, friendly, kind, and a great person and friend. She knows how to handle dogs with care and understands them well. She'll be great for Rover!

Schedule
I’m currently in between jobs so I have plenty of flexibility during the week to drop by your home for some play time and exercise!
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbsAileen can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- If your pet has any behavioral issues or is timid meeting humans/other animals for the first time, please let me know so I can be aware and safe! If you’re requesting dog walking services, I’d also like to know any habits I should avoid while in public (e.g. leash tugging or eating scraps etc)
