About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats, as well as other animals like horses, otters, and seals! I love caring for and ensuring the well-being of all animals, regardless of size or breed. Valeriya took care of our 8-year old Aussie Doodle Noodles, sitting for him in our home, taking care of our house as well, for a little more than a month. It was our first ever long duration trip leaving Noodles at home, and we were anxious to say the least. At the meet and greet, Valeriya suggested a series of "get-to-know Noodles" activities to ensure her arrival for the sit was well met and comfortable. She asked us to prepare thorough directions, including items we would not have thought to include without her tremendous input. Valeriya is our go-to pet sitter for our Aussie Doodle Noodles, and this booking was our second with her staying at our house and caring for Noodles. Previously she cared for Noodles for an entire month while we were away. This time, Valeriya cared for Noodles and our home for ten days while we were in Europe. Consistent with our previous experience, Valeriya was just the top tier of every expectation we could have for her care of Noodles and our house. Noodles just loves her! Returning home, she left us specially prepared food in the fridge, knowing we were arriving home after 18 hours of travel, the house was immaculate, in better condition than when we left, and most importantly, Noodles was as happy as could be with his time with her, in such good health and spirits when we arrived home. Kostya was FABULOUS with our girls! Not everyone can handle high-energy working-line Belgian Shepherds, but Kostya hit it off with them from the moment he arrived. He is kind yet firm, with an innate dog sense that is hard to teach. He also dealt well with two "special needs" girls, one who needed daily eye drops and one who needed paw booties put on every morning and taken off every night. Those booties are challenging to fit on the dog's foot just right, but when we got home, we saw that Kostya had nailed it. Kostya is professional, responsible, and cared for our dogs and our home as if it were his home. We count ourselves *very* lucky to have found him!
Nicola did an amazing job making sure our pups felt like they were at home even when we were away from home. She was very fast at responding back when booking and answering all of our questions. She as well made sure to ask questions about our pups to make sure they were well taken care of. While we were at our event she sent us a text a little after we left to let us know they had settled in with her. Giving us a peace of mind as we entered our evening. We got multiple updates and the cutest pictures of our boys. Definitely book with Nicola if you want tour pups to feel safe and loved. She was incredible.
Olivia was amazing! She was prompt, communicated great, and left our house as clean as she found it. It was great not having to worry about the quality of care my dog was in while we were on Vacation. She even reached out to us because she saw a spot on his paw that concerned her. I would absolutely use her again when we are out of town.
We were on vacation for 2 weeks. Jesse stayed at our house with our 7 month old high energy puppy. Jesse sent us photos and updates regularly. When he had obligations, he took our puppy to be walked and watched by his son Chris. Our little girl was well cared for and Jesse is very responsible and professional. Happy to give 5 star rating!
Gia cared for our senior dog over Christmas for a week and did a fantastic job! She was attentive to our dog's specific needs, prompt in communicating with us, and tidy and respectful of our home. Natalie was terrific in the care she gave our little Maltese Molly. Molly is a senior dog ( going on 14 ), she has a tumor on her bladder and has to pee very often. She also is very anxiety when she is away from us. Although she is taking pain meds and anxiety meds, she whines when we are out of sight. Natalie took charge by comforting her and distracting her with toys and treats. We were comfort with leaving Molly with Natalie to go to a friends house for a Thanksgiving meal. We would definitely feel very comfortable leaving her with Natalie.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
