“Elle is great! Trustworthy, responsible, and communicates great! She spent a lot of time with my dog and he was happy as a clam when I got home! Glad to have found a reliable sitter!”

“Laura was a great help! She was able to work from our house and watch our puppy during the day so we didn’t have to crate her or worry about her getting into trouble. We would book her again ??”

“Wow, Megan was so great! We were looking for someone new to sit for our Kobe (a large Doberman Pinscher), as our original sitter is no longer available. She was professional, easy going, and very sweet. You know when you just get a good vibe from someone? Well, Megan has it. She sent us detailed daily updates and pictures, took him for walks, etc. and our pup was very happy. Don't hesitate to book her. She will definitely be a regular hire for us!”

About: Your pup's safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand that trusting someone with a beloved member of your family is a big decision, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away by providing the same patience, affection, and attentive care they're used to at home. Every dog has their own unique personality, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. I've had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. My background in professional caregiving has strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and responsive, even in unexpected situations. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, adventures, or simply relaxing nearby, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual personality, routine, and needs. Whenever possible, I love scheduling a meet-and-greet before a booking. It's a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss your dog's routine, preferences, and any special care instructions, while also giving your dog the chance to become comfortable with me before our time together. No one knows your dog better than you do, and I truly value learning from you so I can provide the best care possible. While you're away, you'll never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I believe communication is an important part of exceptional pet care, so I'll send regular updates and photos throughout our time together. My hope is that you can fully enjoy your time away, knowing your dog is happy, loved, and receiving thoughtful, dependable care every step of the way. Currently my schedule is flexible and open. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy taking walks throughout the day to recharge, and find moments of calm and presence for myself. Having a pup or kitty by my side makes those experiences even more meaningful and enjoyable. I’m also naturally a homebody, so providing companionship and being a calm, relaxing presence comes very easily to me. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets feel comfortable and secure while you're away. I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, rest, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention. I treat every client's home with the same care and respect as my own, always aiming to leave it as clean—or even better—than I found it. I communicate reliably and always prioritize your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being.
“I’ve never been away from my babies in four years. So my first vacation away from them was incredibly scary for me. But oh my days I’m incredibly thankful I stumbled across Valeriya. I know my boys can be overwhelming with how high energy they are but she reassured me they were so well behaved while I was gone. She sent me very frequent updates to ease my mind that they were in good hands. I left detailed instructions, and she followed every single one. I’m so excited to be able to travel and know my babies will be in good hands, I’m definitely going to be a frequent client. I can’t express my thanks enough!”

About: I love all animals! I am attentive and genuinely care. I understand that pets are family members, and I treat them with the same love, patience, and respect that I would give my own. I take the time to learn each pet's unique personality, routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I am dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining a pet's normal routine to reduce stress and provide consistency, to ensure both pets and their owners have peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and prioritize their well-being. I structure my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, companionship, and care throughout the day. I understand the importance of reliability and communication, and I make your pet my priority. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I take pride in providing a loving, safe, and dependable presence while their families are away.
“Taylor was so awesome! She sent lots of photos and made me feel super comfortable leaving my pups with her because she is kind, professional, and clearly bonded with the dogs right away. We were only gone one night and my dogs didn’t want her to leave. Will definitely book with her in the future!”

“We hired Lauren to watch our three pups in our home. One of our dogs is a senior with advanced Cushing's Disease and is diabetic. It's been so long since we were able to get away and enjoy ourselves for an extended period of time because of Baxter's medical issues. We needed someone to come and stay in our home and have the knowledge and ability to respond to his medical needs as well as meet the needs of our other two pups. Lauren did all of that for us. She's a professional through and through, wonderful personality and incredibly flexible with us. It's such a relief to know our pets are in her hands so we can enjoy our time away. We feel so lucky to have found her! She's the best!”
“We really appreciate all the care that Lisbeth gave our boy during our absence. She was great in communication and sent us tons of photos and videos. If you need responsive and trustworthy care for your fur babies , you can trust Lisbeth 1000%. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Ponchik.”

“Very nice and super accommodating! It was my first time leaving my two working dogs to be watched by someone and she did an amazing job! She was super flexible and was great with the dogs. She sent me photos and updates after every visit/walk. I will definitely look for her to watch my dogs again!”

“Marianne is absolutely fantastic! I can't say enough good about her. My girls were so happy and well cared for. My home was immaculate and Marianne is super friendly and easy to talk with. She will be my number 1 go-to from here on out. Thank you so much, Marianne!”

About: Easy going and adaptable dog walker with experience! Animal lover and grad student wanting to work on the side! Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Quail Meadows
Natalie was terrific in the care she gave our little Maltese Molly. Molly is a senior dog ( going on 14 ), she has a tumor on her bladder and has to pee very often. She also is very anxiety when she is away from us. Although she is taking pain meds and anxiety meds, she whines when we are out of sight. Natalie took charge by comforting her and distracting her with toys and treats. We were comfort with leaving Molly with Natalie to go to a friends house for a Thanksgiving meal. We would definitely feel very comfortable leaving her with Natalie.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 813 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Quail Meadows. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Quail Meadows walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Quail Meadows maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Quail Meadows choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quail Meadows. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
