About: I’ve had and cared for cats since I was probably 8 years old. I’m one of the “oooh kitty” type people who most pet every cat I see on a walk (if they let me that is). I’ve raised a few senior kitties, one that passed last year at 15 and another that is now about 13 with cerebellar hypoplasia. I also have a TNR& semi-feral turned lovey cat that bonded to me after I trapped and care for her for a few weeks after a pretty bad injury. So I’d say I’m fairly experienced with senior cats and medical care.

About: My name is Tessa. I am 31 years old and am a doctoral student. I have grown up all my life with dogs and miss having them around. I love all animals and would be so excited to host or house sit any and all of your furry friends! I live alone. I would love to give your animal a fun va- or staycation! I love to go on long walks and hikes with the pups I take care of--sometimes runs, and to shower your dog/cat with the love and attention that they deserve. I do recommend home stays since I've noticed dogs often feel most comfortable and less anxious at home especially after the pandemic but am open to boarding. My apartment is in a safe building. The animals I choose to care for are my priority, daily/weekly routine can fluctuate due to the specific needs of each pet. I have a fenced yard with lots of sun that when possible I sit and soak the heat in with my fur baby. Plenty of sun indoors too for those that enjoy to sunbathe. About: We always had pets growing up, when I moved out I missed having those loving beings around me, so I started petsitting. About: Aside from raising my own 2 fur babies ( 2 kitties now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large Dobermans to small kittens. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter primarily walking and socializing with the big dogs. I lost my senior cat Meemow and senior dog Harley this year (both 15). As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I want to spend my time I have to help others too (hence also my volunteering at the animal shelter right now to). I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. About: I have had a cat in my life since I was 5 years old. Almost all of them passed away from old age. The oldest was 17 years. For dogs, I was never able to have one growing up. We didn't have the room for one. But I have family members that had dogs and was able to help take care of them. I have dog sat for many years. During that time I would either pop in for a walk or stay with them for a few days. Now that I have a family, it's difficult to house/animal sit at other people's homes, but animals are always welcome in my home. When I am with your pet I do take pictures and send them to you. It gives the owners a peace of mind. I am currently not working. My days are filled with my 3 and 1/2-year-old daughter. I am showing her how to take care of animals. I take her to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am mostly home or going to walks or going to a park. I have a fenced yard and currently do not have a dog. I do have one cat that is mostly outdoors. I do have a medium size crate if your dog requires one. Animals are allowed on any of the furniture as long as it's not a table or a kitchen counter. I do have a small animal door leading to the backyard. I can close this off if need be.

About: I have experience pet sitting my sister’s animals and close friends for 1 year, I’m very active so walks are a must! I have two little kittens of my own at home who are playful, but nervous at first. IM AVAILABLE TO WALK DOGS DURING THE WEEK AFTER 5pm On the weekends i’ll go on a run, and walk to try to stay active and relax at home. Potty breaks are as much as needed, love routines and keeping them on track. I have a spacious living room for them to play and run, also there is a back yard for potty breaks as needed. I also am home for the weekends so i’ll be there to monitor the play and runs. We live near fort ord and outdoorsy vibes are all around.
