I have 8yrs of pet sitting experience. Graduated with a B.S in Animal Science. I was in the veterinary industry for 7 years. Started as a kennel assistant and then was a vet assistant for 4 years in San Luis Obispo. I’ve taken care of geriatric pets, very comfortable giving medications both orally and subcutaneously (diabetic pets). I have also taken care of pets with special needs, from a partially paralyzed Cocker Spaniel to a arthritic dachshund. I do not own any cats since my sister is allergic but I love pet sitting them! When they aren’t hiding I do try to play with them and give them a lot of attention.

I take care pets as if they were my own. I am very attentive to their needs and always make sure they are comfortable. I make sure to communicate with owners if I do have any questions or concerns as well. I always want to provide clear communication with owners, to make sure their pets are in good hands.

This was the second time leaving our pups with Flora. Our pups love staying with her! She sends us daily photos and updates which we love. We can enjoy our vacations free of worry!
Flora was amazing as our pet sitter! She took care of our two dogs for a week, including one that’s leash reactive and a tripod, and handled them with such patience and care. She went the extra mile by buying carrot treats for them when we ran out, and kept us updated with great communication and daily photos. Our pups loved her, and we could tell from the pictures how much she bonded with them. She left our house spotless and treated it with the utmost respect. We’ll definitely be re-booking with Flora in the future—she’s fantastic!

Schedule
I really miss spending time and working with animals. When I am in the office, I am able to leave during my lunch and my boss is pretty lenient with me. I get up pretty early to get my day started and I am very home bodied.
