Pet lover with great experience!
I have worked with animals of all types since I was a child! We have always had dogs (German Shepherds, Queensland Healers, Havanese, Terriers) and I have learned to love and care for them all. I was also raised around horses and cats. I am a teacher during the school year and love to work with animals on the side. I am a very active person who loves to run, backpack, etc, and so I am looking to add more movement to my summer, hopefully with your dog! I have taken training classes with my own dog, and have worked with other aggressive and reactive behavior, and can take the necessary precautions if your animal struggles with the same. I love to play, snuggle and brush, and look forward to sending you lots of pictures and videos of your little one!

Safety, trust & environment
On walks I am careful to learn about the dogs needs and behaviors, and will happily customize our route to fit them (weather, temperature, reactivity, etc...). I am happy to come and stay with your animal in their home and space so that they can be more comfortable!

Sofia housesat our two dogs for 16 nights. We initially met her months prior and we kept in touch monthly. A couple days prior, she came over for an hour and we went through all the instructions. While we were away, she regularly updated us and ensured we got home without delay. Sofia is very reliable, an effective communicator and provided us with invaluable peace of mind that our dogs and home was being taken care of. Thank you Sofia! Sophia was absolutely amazing when it came to both house and dog-sitting. She was so attentive to and understanding with our reactive dog Riley and was so great about maintaining Riley’s routine while we were away. She’s incredibly responsive and we loved all the photos she sent us. I cannot think of a better person to care for Riley and no question we’ll be booking with Sophia again when needed! 🥰

Blair is 48 pounds of muscle, sass, and stubbornness. Finding someone who could actually handle her on a walk felt like a miracle. Sophia, who clearly knows their way around big dogs (German Shepherd experience = major bonus points). Blair came back happy, tired, and not dragging anyone behind her like a sled dog, so I call that a huge win. Super grateful and definitely booking again!

Schedule
I am a teacher on summer vacation and have all weekdays free for pet care. I have no weekday obligations and can be available to your pet as much as is needed!

- Please let me know anything about your dog that may need special attention. I have lots of experience with special needs dogs, elderly dogs, and reactive/aggressive behavior and am completely happy to tailor their experience, I just need to know in advance. Thanks!!
