“This was my first time being away from my dog and I was so nervous leading up to it but Marion was so calm, helpful, and flexible with setting up the boarding. The photos and updates she shared with me gave me piece of mind while I was on my work trip nad I came back to a very happy dog. Would definitely rebook with her for any trips or daycare needs!”

“We feel lucky to have had Jesse dog sit for us. He is very kind and caring. He honored our care instructions and we are grateful for that. Widget was very happy after his stay with Jesse.”

“Cristine was truly amazing and the best sitter we’ve ever had! From our meet and greet, her experience and passion for animals were clear right away. She is incredibly compassionate, deeply dog-loving, and extremely careful and safe (our top priority). During our flight chaos, she was the sweetest, modified, and welcomed Augie with genuine excitement, asked all the right questions, and treated him like her own (even brushing him; he came back smelling great!). We felt completely at ease the entire time. Doggies truly deserve her care, and we’ll request her every time we travel 🥹if she’s not fully booked by then from this very well deserved review! 🐾💛 Thank so much Christine! 🐶”

“Denise took wonderful care for our Standard Poodle with high standards! I really appreciated the care and attention she gave to ensure he ate. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“Carol was an incredible sitter during our trip! We felt so fortunate to leave our beloved and somewhat spoiled mini golden doodle, Augie, in the hands of both Annabelle and Carol. Their warmth and genuine care made all the difference for him. Augie was so happy and well-fed during his stay, which is quite an achievement given his picky eating habits! We would absolutely choose Carol again if given the chance. She was incredibly responsible with our precious pup and even accommodated us by allowing a late pickup. Thank you, Carol, for providing such a loving space for our furry Baby!”

“An amazing dog sitter! Left my 13yo dog, Pumpkin, with Asta for a week and she had a great time. I received so many pictures while I was on vacation so I knew Pumpkin was doing well and enjoying her time with Asta and her dog. I can't recommend her enough 😄”

“Johemy was great! Excellent communication from time of booking and sent pictures and updates while my dogs were with her. They obviously liked her because they weren't overly excited when I came to pick up like they always are when I come home. She was very detailed about wanting specific details about feeding, going outside, sleeping, toys, treats, etc. and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them. We will definitely use her again. That being said, I probably wouldn't take a large dog because of it being a small apartment but it was perfectly fine for our small dogs.”

“Christina made it super easy. Really fast responses. Good clear communication. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time and came back home wagging and smiling. Very highly recommended.”

About: There was never not a dog in my house growing up, so caring for dogs is second nature to me. Over the years I’ve taken care of everything from purebreds to mutts, and while I’ve always had a soft spot for rescues, I love all dogs equally and treat every one like family. I work primarily from home and have a very flexible schedule, which means I can offer plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Since I’m home most of the time, I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I know how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll always do my best to stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I live in a clean, quiet, pet-friendly home with my wife, who’s also a big animal lover. We don’t have kids or pets of our own, so we’re able to keep things calm and give your pet our full attention. Safety always comes first with me. I follow feeding, medication, and exercise instructions closely, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Donna was absolutely wonderful with Fiona! 🐾 She gave her great care and attention the entire stay, and I could tell Fiona felt right at home. Donna kept communication clear and friendly, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and trustworthy sitter — we’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Yessina and Sophie and their 3 children were the perfect introduction for my 6 month old puppy, Pixie, to experience her 1st dog sitters! They were very kind and gentle with her and her shyness didn’t faze them. Buster my 8 year old terrier who is cautious around strangers, but a real gentleman, picked his spots to lay down and wait patiently and was calm when I arrived. Even though both dogs refused to eat while they were there for the day, I was very happy with the care given by this family. They really listened to me and followed my suggestions! I’m planning on returning and rebooking with them!”

“Such a loving and caring family. My dogs walked in as if they walked into their home. I left them feeling confident that they were in good hands. Cecilia is great in communication and sending pitfie updates we would definitely go back.”

“Angie was very gracious to take Freckles in on such short notice, then provided us pictures of him enjoying his stay at her home with her pets . We highly recommend her to anyone who loves their dog and is in need of quality doggy daycare. Thank you Angie.”

“Brenden is amazing and took such great care of Mulligan! We were able to fully enjoy a wedding celebration knowing our dog was in great hands. Brenden took the dogs hiking and lots of play was had which was perfect to tire Mulligan out ahead of our 6 hour drive home. Highly recommend!!!”

I have experience in the basic dog care such as feeding, walks, plays, and cleaning. I am eager to learn all routines and obligations that each dog owner would have for their pet. I will be attentive to all the obligations that I need to fulfill while in a clients home. It us important to me to keep any trust that is given to me and do the best at my job with any animals.

“Madeline was great! She took great care of my kitty while I was away. She had great communication and provided lots of pictures and details about each visit. I would definitely have her pet sit again!”

“Jacqueline was fantastic and kept us at ease while we were away from our boys. She went above and beyond what we asked of her and gave our boys lots of extra play time. She was even able to get one of our boys to cuddle with her by the end of it, showing how safe they felt with her and how much they appreciated her company. We will definitely be using Jacqueline's services in the future!!”

“Andrea is lovely as always and gives such detailed updates and so many lovely photos to ease our minds while we are traveling! She is very instruction-oriented and makes sure everything is so well taken care of! Our cats love her!”

“I adore Elissa. I felt nervous at first having a new person watch my boys, but after a meet and greet (that ended up with us just talking, laughing and sharing stories for 2+ hours) I knew we made the right choice. She was fun, kind and professional. She has a lot of knowledge on cats and cat/pet care and went above and beyond to care for my cats. She extended her drop ins to ensure everyone (including my difficult to feed guy) was happy and had a full tummy. She spoiled my sons with lots of tasty treats and provided many updates and pictures. I can't say enough positive things about her and highly recommend her for taking care of your fur babes.”

“Carol was absolutely wonderful. She took care of our dog and cat for 10 days during Christmas break. She was professional and went above and beyond our expectations. She was attentive to their needs and allowed both of them to be relaxed and happy while we were gone. Carol sent me daily updates and photos of how they are doing. I would highly recommend her services to everyone and for sure will book with her again! ”

“I couldn't be happier with my senior kitty’s new sitter! My sweet Macy has reached the point of needing two visits a day when I am out of town. Denise’s care is extraordinary and worth every penny for both the well-being of my kitty girl, as well as for my peace of mind. Denise’s care and her attention to detail are exceptional! She is not only reliable, responsible, and trustworthy but she is equally warm, friendly, and gentle. Denise goes the extra mile - both my kitty and home were in excellent condition upon my return home - will be rebooking!”

“Elizabeth was fantastic and great with communication! I appreciated her approach to making new clients feel comfortable with her! She did great with my shy cat too! I would recommend her any day :)”

About: I’m the mom to a cat named Zeppelin, a dog named Stevie and a horse named Cece. I successfully trained both Stevie and Zeppelin (yes you can train a cat!) myself and have dabbled in equine training as well. Being the guardian of a nervous, reactive pup, I pride myself on understanding animal behavior and dog body language. After bringing Stevie home, I was quickly thrown into the world of dog training and behavior modification out of necessity and I have a special place in my heart for nervous pups. I've even started training other people's dogs on the side! After training my own dog, I fell in love with the process and couldn't put it down! I’ve also worked in a veterinary office and feel confident in my abilities to keep your animals safe and know how to handle emergencies. I’m a lab assistant for an environmental toxicology lab and train dogs on the side. I am available for drop ins and walks in the late afternoon and evening most days as well as any time on Sunday’s. At this time I am not available for boarding or overnight stays. I’ll treat your pets like I treat my own, all of mine are rescues that took time, patience and trust to get to where we are now. I understand that having a new person around might be scary for your pet at first but I look forward to building a relationship with them so we all feel safe and comfortable. Having a nervous, reactive dog and a nervous cat has taught me how to better understand dog and cat body language and to go at their own pace.

“First time using Rover and happy with how everything turned out. Was in town with the fam and planned on visiting the aquarium. Reached out to Jesse 2 days prior to our visit and he responded right away. He walked and fed Audie and sent pictures and texted updates. We were running late for pickup and Jesse was kind enough to give us extra time so we didn’t have to rush back. Thanks Jesse!”

About: I believe animals deserve the absolute best care, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I grew up with both cats and dogs and currently care for an adorable cat and puppy, so I’m very in tune with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I work from home, which means your pet will have lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I bring a calm, intuitive presence that helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime and a bit of training, or prefers a cozy day full of naps and cuddles, I tailor their care to what they enjoy most (usually a mix of both!). I live in a house with a large backyard, so there’s plenty of space to play. I also share my home with my loving boyfriend Ahmed, who is just as much of an animal lover as I am. Whether you’re traveling, working, or just need an extra hand, you can trust your pet will be in a safe, loving, and attentive environment the whole time. I work from home, so your pet will have company and care throughout most of the day alongside my own pets. If your dog enjoys walks or outings like the beach, I’d love to include them with mine. Otherwise, they’ll be relaxing at home in a calm, attentive environment and won’t be left alone for more than about an hour (if they’re comfortable with short periods of alone time). I make sure my pets get a healthy balance of play, structure, and rest. With my dog, I focus on plenty of playtime and ongoing training, which helps her burn energy and settle into naps while I work. My cat prefers a calmer routine and spends most of her day relaxing in her own space, but I always make time for snuggles and connection so she feels loved and secure. I’m very attentive to each pet’s needs and energy levels. If a dog becomes tired or overstimulated, I’m happy to crate them for a peaceful reset if that’s part of their routine. For cats, I create a cozy, quiet space where they can feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. There is plenty of room in our house and yard to create separate spaces for pets to have their own areas (for sleep, food, play, etc.) if that is what they prefer. ❤️

“So happy with Marion’s daily dog walks for our two pups while we were away. We have an older girl (who cannot walk far) and a younger boy who has loads of energy and strength - so we appreciated her figuring out a way to get both their needs met in one walk. Top notch dog walking, super reliable. And our dogs loved her.”

“Carol was fantastic! She was responsive to my request for a dog walker and was great in communicating with me before, during and after. We were on vacation staying at a hotel with our dog. Carol’s dog walking service enabled us to have two daytime outings without worrying about him. Thanks, Carol!”

“Andrea was so kind and accommodating for our special requests and went out of her way to work with our schedule. She even made sure to bring her son so they could play together (my dogs love kids) and gave them such good love and attention that they barely missed me. She went above and beyond and was so professional, can't recommend enough!!”

“Katt is an incredible dog walker! From the moment she arrived, my dogs were instantly comfortable with her. She was warm, attentive, smart, and asked all the right questions. She came prepared with a fantastic treat bag and a solid understanding and positive reinforcement. She handled my two energetic dogs with ease and confidence, and I immediately felt at ease knowing they were great hands. I couldn’t have been happier to find her - highly recommend just after one walk!”

“Carol agreed in Oct to have visits to meet our dog in preparation for Xmas trip. Our dog is really scared of strangers. It took 6-7 visits for our dog to get used to Carol. Carol was very patient with it. She was flexible working out times and was able to do some walking visits at Xmas. She contacted us with updates and questions and we felt like our dog was in good hands. We will continue to work with Carol now that our dog has another person she likes! ”

About: Hello, my name is Sonia! I have worked with various organizations throughout Monterey County, where I received training in animal behavior and boarding. Over the past five years, I’ve gained valuable experience creating daily routines that help animals feel comfortable and cared for. During my time on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful pets and building great relationships with both them and their owners. I love sending daily photos and updates so pet parents can feel at ease while they’re away. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns—I’m always happy to help. Thank you! :) P.S. My pup Tommy does not accompany me to visits or house sittings, so no worries if your pet prefers to be the only animal in the home. :) Hello, welcome to my page! A little about me: I have a degree in Molecular Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and am currently pursuing a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. My school schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I have flexible availability, including Tuesdays, Thursdays, weekends, and most afternoons and evenings. I’m available for house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine, so I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand. It gives us a chance to make sure everyone feels comfortable and helps me provide the best care possible for your furry family member. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I have 9 years of previous experience with boarding animals and work well with sticking to the specifics of every pet's needs. I have experience with all different breeds, including those requiring extra medical attention. I am trained in administering injections as well. I can also care for reptiles, birds, and any other pet in the household.

About: I have shared my life with pets for as long as I can remember and have always had a deep love and respect for animals. I previously worked as a 5-star Rover pet sitter before taking time away to care for my grandfather full-time. I’m now excited to return and build my Rover profile again. As a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I’ve had the privilege of working with people and, on occasion, supporting pets alongside their owners, including animals facing serious health challenges. Those experiences have strengthened my patience, compassion, and attentiveness. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds of different ages and personalities, including senior pets. Whether it’s playtime, walks, medication, or simply providing comfort and companionship, I treat every animal with the same care and respect I would give my own. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is safe and happy. I work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting, and I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability. I understand how important consistency is for pets and will follow your routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions, maintain your pet’s normal routine, and make sure they always have fresh food, water, exercise, and plenty of attention. I’ll provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Sophia is a gem! She was very thorough, courteous and punctual when showing up for my dog’s walks. She was very communicative with updates and even brought in our packages that were left on the porch. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: I absolutely adore pets and I have pet-sit for people for over 10 years. I grew up with dogs and cats at home my entire life. I’m a teacher and in my off hours, I would love to take care of your fur baby! Whether it’s taking them on walks, pet sitting over night, or for a longer period of time, I promise to treat yours as my own. My boyfriend and I have our own pup and I will make sure to give yours the same love and dedication that we do for him. :) I have a 9 month old pup, Cooper, who will absolutely love to play with your dog! He is super friendly with all animals and humans. He is very energetic and will be sure to be a great playmate.

“Claudia has been great to work with! She’s been very understanding of my concerns about this high auto-traffic area, and she’s been fantastic with my dog, who just adores her! Very trustworthy and reliable!”
About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have always loved them. I'm the one my friends and family always ask to watch their pups, it's something I've always loved doing. My dog Charles has been my shadow for the last 10 years, and although he much prefers the couch life, he still joins me on walks and hikes when he's up for an adventure. I'm new to the Monterey area and currently have a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with your dog. I'm available throughout the week and can easily work around what you need. Over the last several months, I've cared for my family's two dogs across several trips while they traveled. Charles gets along great with dogs of any size, he's been living happily alongside both of them and loves playing in the backyard together. I've cared for senior dogs and dogs with extra needs, from managing a specific eye care routine for vision loss to giving medication for anxiety during travel, so I'm comfortable following a detailed routine and staying attentive to how a dog's doing day to day. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! My schedule is wide open these days, so I'm flexible for morning walks, midday breaks, or afternoon adventures, whatever fits your pup's routine best. Short notice works too. Safety comes first, whether I'm out on a walk or watching your home. On walks, I always double check your dog's leash, collar, or harness before heading out to make sure everything is secure, and I stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and anything that might spook a nervous pup. For drop-ins and house sitting, I treat your home like it's my own. That means doors and gates stay locked, food and water are kept fresh and where they should be, and I leave everything exactly as I found it, plus regular updates and photos so you're never left wondering how things are going :)

“Helen took great care of my almost 10 week kitten! I was a little nervous since he was so young but I could tell she (and her family) loved him like their own for the week she watched him. She sent me photos and videos every day, which was awesome too.”

“Riley was great! They sent a lot of updates and photos during my pet’s stay, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It was clear my pet was well cared for, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. Communication was easy the whole time, and Riley was very responsive to messages. I’d definitely trust them to watch my pet again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Bridget did a great job with Buddy. Buddy loved hanging with his new friends, even her 2 kitty's. I received daily updates with pictures. We would engage Bridget's services again.”

“Nina was an excellent and communicative sitter for my dog. She has a great yard and I think my dog already misses it! Nina’s dog Ranie is a great playmate and kindly shared her toys with my dog. I just moved to this area, so I feel really lucky to have found Nina right away!”

“Athena was great with my dog, Donner! She was able to watch him with only a few days notice. Took him on walks and updated us with pictures. It was so nice for Donner to get all the attention being the only dog there. I will definitely be booking Donner for another stay in the future. Thank you so much Athena and Will for giving Donner the best care while we were on vacation!”

“This was my pup Callie’s first experience with an in-home boarder, and she had a great time! Shayne is very nice and was happy to give her plenty of exercise during the stay. This is the first time I have used Rover and I am very happy with everything. I would happily recommend sending your pups to stay with Shayne!”

“Jill was so amazing with our dog, Meike! We were so nervous to leave her for the first time, but she was in great hands. Jill was amazing at giving her love and making her feel comfortable. She also made sure to play with her daily. We loved the daily updates and pictures. We would recommend Jill and will definitely be contacting her if we need a pet sitter in the future. She’s amazing!”

About: I’ve taken care of two dogs and three cats at one time. I have house sat for two families and have no problem doing it again! I have experience working with big dogs, small dogs, disabled dogs, and have even given medication to dogs in pill form. I am not allergic to cats or dogs and I’m very stern on the animal getting comfortable with me in their own time. I am a stay-at-home wife, so I have all the time in the world. I don't have all the energy in the world though. I go for walks on nice days with my own dog often, but more than that, I can't because of health reasons. In my home, my animals don't have a set schedule or regimen. I go with their ques and roll with their punches. I can follow a schedule to the T if said baby needs one, especially for medications! I treat every animal (even strays) with love and care as if they were my own.
