“Caroline is incredible. She went above and beyond to take care of our cat and apartment. She is so dedicated and communicates very well. Our cat immediately loved her. I would give her 6 stars if I could.”

“Sydney was absolutely amazing house sitting for our dog and cat! We have a high energy, 65 lb cane corso, husky, German Shepard mix and a very social cat. She really took time to make sure our dog Alice got the attention and exercise she needed. Even extending her walks when Alice was being a little stubborn about heading back home! She sent many updates and pictures and videos while we were gone. Sydney stuck to the routine we have in place and made sure both animals got the attention they needed! Alice can be nervous with new people at first but Sydney was patient and made sure she was comfortable. I would absolutely recommend her for your rover needs!”

“Alannah was fantastic! Our skiddish dog takes a long time to warm up to anyone, but Alannah was so patient and kind, agreeing to meet several time before our overnight so Hazel knew her well. She made sure she was loved, exercised and cared for. We even got picture updates. Would highly recommend her and will be using her for future overnights when we travel. Thank you.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we were so happy by choosing Casey. He immediately wanted to schedule a "meet and greet" at the house so the dogs can be comfortable. Soon after, we left for our wedding and our babies were in his hands. We were worried at first, but Casey reassured us instantly with photos of the doggies loving life. He always checked in with us, and sent us photos. We had such a great experience with him and Rover. I recommend Casey for any dog child owner in the area. His knowledge, attitude, and comfortability is reassuring :D Thank you so much! -The Rileys”

“Amazing! She took care of our dog and cat and they were really happy. She sent us a lot of photos and communicated often we are going to book again with her!”

“Caroline had amazing communication!! I had a whole google doc of instructions 😂 and she was so good at consistently keeping our babies on their schedule and routines, even with all their quirks! I loved all the regular updates; we had some scheduling issues in the middle but she was incredibly transparent and very detailed in communicating so o was able to make l alternative arrangements! Our shy cats + xl dog took to her immediately 😊”

“HoChuen day-sat our dog for several hours while we were out. I would highly recommend him. He was conscientious and prompt and asked good questions before we signed him up. He was on time and engaged with our dog and followed up on our instructions. He communicated when he thought there was a problem and asked for our input. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again. I recommend him to other users.”

About: I’ve had dogs for as far back as I can remember! They are the thing in this world that makes me happier than anything. I get along with every breed/size/type of dog I’ve ever been around and am so looking forward to meeting more awesome pups through the app! My schedule is currently very flexible and can be adjusted on a week to week basis depending on a clients needs. I plan to be available as much as possible to establish routines but open enough to change based on circumstances. I look forward to providing top quality care for your four legged friend(s)! I am a responsible person who takes looking after someone’s animal/home very seriously. If staying overnight I’d love to meet you and discuss your routines with your animals, and just make sure it’s a situation everyone is comfortable with to maximize the care I can provide!

“Erin was great! She proactively sent us updates and pictures and helped us feel comfortable leaving our complicated pup in her hands. We plan to hire her again when we leave town!”

About: I’ve trained my two dogs, a German Sheppard and miniature dachshund. I love all animals including cats! No job is too hard as all animals need love and patience! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for something to do in my off time! I am open on late night calls as well if any emergencies occur! I only have a mini dachshund who loves to play, if you dog spends the night I currently live in a luxury apartment with a large dog park next door!

About: My long history of taking care of dogs started with my wonderful and energetic Airedale terrier in my teens and twenties, and continues as a dedicated uncle to my sister’s 4 dogs (yes 4!). I am the guy my friends consistently ask to pet sit when they leave town. I am currently working part time nearby and not planning much summer travel, so I’ll have plenty of time for quality visits with your dogs! Your pets and your home environment are important to you. I will exercise the utmost care with both and make sure you feel comfort around entrusting me with either or both.

“Caroline was great with our senior dachshund. She stayed with him for a weekend at our place and kept us updated on how he was doing. She was kind, thoughtful, and responsible. We will hire her again the next time we go out of town!”

“Jo-Anne is awesome. She is super sweet and I felt very comfortable with her right away. She was attentive to the dogs, gave great updates while we were away so that I knew the pups were happy and left good notes. I’m hoping to get on her calendar again during this volleyball/ski season.”

About: Please let me hang out with your dog :) This will be mutually beneficial- I’ll take your dog for a walk and some play time and you’ll be able to rest easy! I currently do not have my own dog due to space limitations in my own home, as well as a work travel schedule that sends me to Asia for brief periods every few months. I love all dogs- I grew up with a reactive Akita for 16 years, from puppy to senior. I have done sprinkles of weekend overnight stays for friends and family, before moving to the Bay Area from SoCal 4 years ago. When in my care, all dogs are treated like they’re my own!! I am cautious when meeting for the first time and observant to stressed behaviors but also am able to recognize when to just have fun! I work full time in office on weekdays, usually Tuesday-Thursday. Would love to help dog walk during my evening work calls from 5 pm-7pm! Weekends are totally flexible. I prefer to maintain a high level routine schedule and don’t mind sending status updates! It’s the pet’s world and I’m just here to be the opposable thumbs and help avoid any nervous furniture chewing!

“Thank you Jenna for your tender loving care of Alex while I was away. I know it wasn't easy, as he also started a new medication (that you picked up for me!!) along with his other meds. Just getting him to take his meds is quite a task. I will certainly contact you again the next time we are out of town. Thank you, thank you!!”

“Cecilia did a great job pet sitting at my home. She helped me out with little notice on a holiday weekend and followed all instructions for my pets! I recommend her and would use her services again!”

“Dylan was great with watching our Coconut when we were out of town for a few days! He sent us daily updates and we definitely felt at ease. We had some specific instructions with Coconut’s care and Dylan followed through perfectly. We definitely plan to hire Dylan again!”

Philip P.
“Phil is the best with dogs. Animals and children gravitate toward him. He is a very calm, gentle person. He takes good care of the home he is working in as well. He especially likes to play with the dogs at the beach, and will also comfortably snuggle with them on the couch all day if that’s their prerogative. He is reliable and takes his work seriously, but most of all he loves the dogs back. It brings him joy to be around animals”

Kevin S.
“Kevin is such an animal lover that all animals gravitate towards him! My friends always ask kevin to give their pets their medicine, cats, dogs and even lizards! Even the sassiest and anti-social animals always seem to have a soft spot for kevin when he’s around.”

Keith R.
“Our Lab mix Jolene can be indifferent to non-family members, but she took to Keith right away, and is happy when he comes to watch her. Keith is always friendly, polite and caring. You can tell he really enjoys walking and playing with dogs. My house is always just as clean as when we took off, and Jolene seems a bit sad to see Keith leave.”
