About: As a kid my parents took in some stray dogs and that’s when I fell in love. I’m a former German shepherd owner. I got the puppy when she was 8 weeks old and raised her. Took her on many hikes, trips, swims, and adventures. She was my best friend. My road dog. I currently have a full time job but I’m home by noon most days. Sometimes earlier sometimes later. Afternoons and evenings work best for me. I have a fenced backyard with a lawn and a nice sized front yard with a lawn. There’s a park within walking distance in my neighborhood. My neighborhood is walkable and you’ll see many people walking to and from work and with their families and pets.

About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover, and currently have a lovable fluffy husky. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me and Winston at home, join us on walks, and get to spend the day with us! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!

If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. I will always put your pets needs first and make sure that they are healthy and happy until you return. I have excellent client and rescue references if you'd like to speak with anyone I've helped in the past! I am very flexible and can accommodate most schedules with ease. I have a dog walking group from 11a.m -1p.m. Monday-Friday. The rest of the time I'm available. I have a house with a yard . The doggies have their own room with a couch and a loveseat and lots of doggy beds and soft blankets. I often fall asleep right in the middle of them :) . They have plenty of toys and love when they stay at Aunt Lisa's!

It was my job to take care of the family dog including feeding, bathing, taking on walks, and administering meds. Also in charge of caring for the dogs when we get together with family. Looking for boarding and walking opportunities on the weekend (any time) or weekday evenings after 5pm My dog was crate trained so I can put dogs in crate when needed. I love to play with dogs and make sure they are entertained throughout the day and love walks. Make sure they have food and water. Pay attention to when they need to go out and potty and or run around to burn some energy.
