About: What sets me apart is how personally I care for the pets I look after. I have three beloved cats back home in Brazil, and I’ve also had three dogs and another cat who were part of my life and are now in my heart. Being around animals makes me feel happier and helps ease the homesickness I feel being away from my own. I treat every pet as if they were mine — with patience, kindness, and full attention to their needs. Whether it's giving medication, helping with a bath, or just making sure they get the love and playtime they deserve, I’m always present and gentle. Animals bring me peace, and I make sure they feel safe, cared for, and understood while you're away. I’m a PhD candidate at the University of Minnesota, and my schedule is very flexible. I often work from home either all day or part of the day. That means I can easily fit pet care into my routine, whether it’s staying with your pet, stopping by for visits, or going on walks. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, so to make sure pets get plenty of exercise and stimulation, I take dogs on frequent walks and spend quality indoor playtime with any cats I’m caring for at home. I create a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether in your home or mine, I focus on giving each pet the attention and care they need, adapting to their routines and personalities to keep them happy.

“Robert is absolutely amazing! It has made a huge difference in me and my dogs lives and training. I am super busy, but he is great with working around my schedule and leaving detailed reviews/updates for me to review later. I have a hard time trusting people with my baby but his incredible growth has helped me immensely.”

About: I grew up with rescue cats and dogs. My family has adopted puppies, behaviorally challenging, and senior dogs! I am a veterinarian (currently in the wildlife field) who does not have pets of her own, but would love to take care of yours! I work full-time, 40-50 hours a week. My schedule varies so I may have one week with weekdays off and the next with weekends. My start times also vary, with potential for walks in the mornings. I have a fenced area to walk dogs outside of my apartment building, but am also happy to stay at your place if that is more comfortable for your pet.

“Amanda is the best! My girls or rescues and very people selective. She is so patient with them and really got them to warm up and come out of their shells. Definitely recommend for anyone with anxious or stressed dogs!”

About: I’ve been a foster dog mom for the last 4 years, my toddler and I love spending time with animals, snuggling, going on long walks and to the park. I work remote so I am home all day. I am typically not away from home for more than 1 hour which allows me to spend time with my dog. My toddler goes to daycare full time, allowing me to go on more walks with your puppy/dog. I have a partially fenced yard, I’m completing the fencing in the next month. There are several parks in the area were my dog and toddler like going on walks. We are caring and we will take care of your fur friend like part of the family.

“Gretchen is the best! She accommodates our last minute requests, is flexible with our schedule and takes such good care of our dog, Ruby. Ruby is very high energy and she always comes back tired and happy from her walks with Gretchen. She loves loves loves her time with Gretchen and our lives have become simpler knowing we have a great option to come be with Ruby.”

About: I have had many kinds of pets all my life all with varying needs and diets. I have been dog sitting since i was 14 and have experience with all dog types large or small, senior or show dog i am experienced, responsible, and caring I have a flexible work schedule at the moment so i am available 7 days a week. I can spend as much time as you need with your pets I have the time and will commit myself to caring for each pet with the best care. Be it walking dogs in the early mornings, giving a senior cat their medication as stress free as possible, or bottle feeding kittens or puppies. I will devote myself completely to each pet i care for

About: I love taking care of animals and making them happy. I'm a pet owner myself and now have some availability to help other pet owners. Interacting with pets is one of the only ways I can prevent myself from adopting too many animals. I'm currently studying for the LSAT and work part-time as a nanny but I'm not needed at that job every week. My schedule is pretty open and I have quite a bit of flexibility. I consider myself very respectable while I'm in other people's homes and try to keep to myself. Let me know your rules and I will stick to it.

About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and they hold a special place in my heart. Every dog needs it exercise and I am here to make that happen! I’m currently available full time for the holidays and would love to take care of your pups! Your dog/dogs will be in great hands this holiday season :) Ever dog deserves to be treated fairly and have all of there needs taken care of. Making sure it gets exercise and social outings is my job :)

About: I have had animals in my household my whole life. I have had both cats and dogs since I was a young child, so I know the love and care that goes into providing a great environment for your furry friend! I am very patient and understanding and will give unconditional love to any cat or dog! I live in a nice neighborhood so I would like to take dogs for walks multiple times a day or play in my big backyard with them! I am a teacher in White Bear, and I would be able to take your dog for a walk before and after school to make sure they are able to get their energy out! I currently do not have any other pets in my home so all of my care an attention will go into caring for your pet. My apartment has a big back yard for dogs to run around and play in, and a quiet neighborhood to go for walks. I am also close to many parks where I could bring a dog to play or walk!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since childhood. I’ve only really taken care of cats for the past 10 years. I have two adorkable kitties that are 2 and 3 years old. They both prefer my husband over me but I still primarily take care of them in hopes that one day they will love me more than my husband. I can provide drop-in visits when I’m not working in the office. I can also board a pet as long as I am wfh. I can also walk your dog especially on days that I am wfh. Message me ahead of time and we can figure something out. :) My job allows me to have some flexibility. I think communication is the key. It will be important for me that each pets needs are communicated to me properly. If I am unsure about something, i will clarify with the parent/s first to ensure that their pet’s needs are provided.

Roseville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Claudia did a great job walking my lab, Cleo, while I was out of town! She is very prompt with any communication. She always sent photos from the walks, and the map of the walks; and let me know how Cleo was doing. I felt very assured that Cleo was in excellent hands. Claudia is experienced and was sensitive to Cleo’s needs!

Michelle has been walking our dog, Teddy weekly for the past few months and does a great job with him. He really looks forward to seeing her and she sends us pictures and updates on how things went! We are so grateful we found Michelle to help us out during this time in our lives. Thanks for loving our fur baby! 🩷

Patrick has been dog walking for me for a few months, and I couldn’t be happier. He is so caring and thoughtful, and always makes sure he gets a good walk. He goes the extra mile and communicates really well. Couldn’t ask for a better dog walker when I’m at work.

Matt has become our dog Rey's newest pack member. Rey is a keenly smart and strong dog who is not interested in greeting other dogs and prefers her humans. Matt's instincts, knowledge, and calming confidence collaborates well with Rey. He's incredibly responsive and proactive with communication which I really appreciate. I'm thankful for Matt's energy, positivity and reliability as it makes my life so much easier. I leave the house early for work and it gives me peace of mind knowing Matt's walking time w/Rey brings her a calm and a restful day ahead until I'm home.
