About: I work fully remotely and only look after animals from one household at a time to ensure I can give your pets the relaxing vacation experience they deserve while you’re away! Since I work from home, I’m available for boarding all day long on weekdays. On weekends I can sometimes be gone for half a day, so it’d be good to get advance notice (2 weeks would be best) if your pets cannot be left alone for that long. I have a three story townhouse so there should be lots of space to accommodate your pets and their toys and furniture if needed. My house is smoke free, alcohol free, and kid free. Also pets are allowed on furniture!

About: I grew up helping to take care of our two family dogs. I have had one pet cat for 5 years now. I absolutely love animals, and am looking to spend more time with them. I have experience giving dogs medication and caring for them post surgery. I work full time as a teacher. I work Monday-Friday, so I have more availability on the weekends. During the week I can provide walks and drops in in the morning and in the afternoon or evening. I have increased availability for services over some school vacations and summer break. I have 1 cat who got along with dogs in her prior home. I am able to care for dogs in my own apartment, and for cats and other animals in your home. I will take care to leave your space as I found it, get to know your animals needs, and give your pet lots of love.

“Shannon is easy to communicate with and trustworthy. Our dog immediately liked her and Shannon was great with her and her quirks. Will book with her again!”

About: Hi there! You can call me Steph 🏳️⚧️🤗 Growing up, family friends and school teachers would often ask me to pet/house sit their fur babies as they knew how much I care about the well-being of all animals. I understand that a lot of pets do not easily trust others, for me this is important in being able to give an animal their space and respecting their boundaries. I make sure to take my time with getting to know each pet I care for. I also have experience caring for birds and rodents 🤗 I am currently working from home part time and am available to provide frequent potty breaks and frequent play. I have my own dog who i take to a nearby park twice a day in addition to several short breaks throughout the day. I have plenty of apartment space for play and have my own dog to keep your baby company while they are visiting. I also let animals on my furniture so they can really feel at home and comfortable.

“Melody has been the absolute best! She is incredibly responsive, reliable, and communicative! She sends lots of great photo and text updates during the walk and my dog absolutely loves going out with her! She has been such a great help providing my dog with twice weekly scheduled walks! I would definitely recommend Melody and will continue booking with her!”

“Daniel did an amazing job with my energetic and strong 1.5 yr old golden retriever, Ranger! Ranger loved his walks with Daniel and slept lots afterwards, which was perfect! Daniel sent great photos of their walks and was very responsive and flexible, which I really appreciate. We will use him again!”

“Cecelia did a great job with my 2 very shy anxious foster girls. I know they appreciated the exercise and I appreciated the extra socialization. And my big baby Charlie was so happy to come along for the walk too!”

“Angela is wonderful! She keeps things fun by bringing our dog to different parks, and she’s super communicative so we always know how things went. Our dog has a thick coat, so Angela always makes sure to stay in the shade or near water on hot days which makes the walks much more enjoyable for our dog!”

About: I am a lover of all animals and have experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am always delighted to meet others’ furry friends and give them the care and love they deserve. I have experience cat sitting at many neighbors’ and friends’ homes, and I had a cat of my own in the past. I have cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs from a range of dog breeds, and am prepared to take them on walks and provide bathroom breaks as well as play. I also have experience working on a farm, where I’ve cared for and interacted with kittens, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chinchillas, and snakes. I am a quick learner and will do everything I can to provide the best care possible for the animals in your family. I am a part-time student with a very open schedule. I have the flexibility to care for your pets at most times of the day, as well as the freedom to pet-sit over night at your home. I am happy to care for your pets at your home and will follow all guidelines put in place by you. I have experience caring for my neighbors’ pets in their homes as well as taking their dogs out for walks and bathroom breaks.

About: I have a calm demeanor that animals are receptive to. I grew up taking care of dogs, and now have my own two kitties. I am both a dog and cat person, and love meeting new furry friends! In addition to my own animals, I've taken care of foster animals and friends' animals, including maintaining a quarantine for a kitty with leukemia (very contagious in cats), caring for kittens. I am flattered to be one of the only people my good friend's jindo mix is open to. I also have a green thumb, and will happily care for your plants according to their specific needs! I have a lot of flexibility and communicate well to ensure your pet gets the care they need. I am a morning person, so happy to do walks at the crack of dawn! I always want cats and dogs to feel safe and happy. You know your fur baby best, so I trust your instructions and will ask enough questions to make sure I understand how to care for your fur baby properly. When problems arise, I communicate them promptly and try to understand what's going on fundamentally in order to find a proper solution (e.g. anxiety, exhaustion, fear).

About: I’ve always loved dogs and cats. I have always grown up with a dog in my household, so I have a lot of experiencing training these loving animals. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for over 5 years now and I'm sure your pets will be safe and happy when I'm around. I work at the office Wednesdays and Thursdays so I’m not available until after 6 pm those days. However I have full availability the rest of the week (Friday-Tuesday). I’m very active so I love taking dogs on walks and hikes. I am also close to Green lake so I would be able to take dogs on many walks around that area.

About: I have 17 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. My dog, a sweet Havanese-Shih Tzu mix, helps me create a social, fun environment for visiting pups. I’m also familiar with Seattle’s best walking routes and have several dog parks steps away from home. Your pet will get loving, active care tailored to their needs! I’m home full-time while studying for professional exams and already go on multiple daily walks with my own dog. We frequent nearby dog parks and love sticking to a calm, consistent routine. Since I plan outings in advance and around my clients, your pet will always be my top priority throughout the day. While my yard isn't fully fenced due to a carport, I securely block off exits for safe outdoor time. Inside, I maintain a calm, dog-friendly space with plenty of supervision. I have experience managing food sensitivities and am confident following specific meal plans or care routines. My dog, a registered emotional support animal, is gentle and friendly—often helping nervous pups feel more at ease during their stay.

About: Growing up, I have always loved pets; however, due to my dad's severe allergies I have only been able to have three really awesome goldfish. Luckily, my aunt had the sweetest goldens named Molly and Neon (like on the periodic table) and I was able to take care of them during long summer seasons spent in Santa Barbara where I got to take them on long walks on the beach, give them the chaotic post-beach shower, and stop them from stealing hot dogs at the local barbecue (I did sneak them the occasional hamburger patty though, I was easily swayed). I have since then taken care of my family and friend's pets when they are out of town and miss regularly playing with cute dogs & cats which is why I joined Rover :) Services & What to Expect House-Sitting I am experienced in basic care, walking, feeding, and can complete extra upkeep/household tasks. Most importantly, I am experienced in playing with and keeping your pups company with meticulous care and attention while you are taking some you-time! I would be happy to do a couple of check-in meet & greets before longer house-sitting visits to make sure that I have every detail down to a T. Your home is a safe space so I will take special care to keep it that way. I mostly do house visits that are within 10 minutes to campus! Boarding In my apartment, I host cats only (as of recently) due to space restrictions. Drop-in Visits I drop in to check in on your pet pals to feed and play for anywhere from 1-2 hours! This includes potty breaks, refill of water and food, and playtime. Walking Services Whether high-energy or slower, laid-back energy, your pup will be on the move with me! Please let me know what your puppy pal’s preference is and we can hit a jog around the park or a nice relaxed stroll. Typically, 30 minutes for around 1-2 miles and 60 minutes for 2-4 miles! I am currently a PhD candidate at the UW working on my thesis; as this is mainly writing and remote data processing, I am able to play with your puppy pals and kitties with flexibility and ease! I can WFH and plan my experiments around your pets needs. The safety of your pets and home are my top priority. I habitually communicate and give regular updates and am happy to do a check-in visit prior to the visit to make sure I have every detail concerning safety locked-down.

About: As a Bichon owner myself, I understand the importance of gentle care, routine, and lots of love! I’m experienced with small breeds, and I’m especially patient with both playful puppies and slower-moving seniors. Transitioning to part-time work to create more balance in my life and dedicate extra time to my passion for pet care. This shift allows me to provide attentive, high-quality care to pets while continuing to contribute meaningfully in my professional role. Pet care is part of my every day. I know how important routine, love, and belly rubs are! Whether in my home or yours, I provide consistent, loving care tailored to your pet’s routine. I prioritize their comfort, safety, and emotional well-being—while keeping communication open with daily updates.

Annabelle Z.
“Annabelle took care of our first kitty many times. He always had the softest fur after coming home from his "retreat" at Annabelle's home. We can tell he were happy and comfortable every time staying with her. Unfortunately, he passed away earlier this year and now, we have 2 new floofies! They just did their 1st boarding as kittens with Annabelle. We are grateful that she gave our kittens the most positive experience. We highly recommend her as your cat-sitter when you are traveling.”

Avery B.
“I’ve known Avery since they were very young, and I can confidently say they have a genuine love for animals and a natural ability to care for them. Even as a child, Avery would go out of their way to spend time with my cats—sometimes sitting outside in the cold just to be near them. That kind of quiet dedication and empathy has always been part of who they are. Because their own family had pet allergies, Avery found creative and responsible ways to meet their desire to care for animals by tending to the pets of others. They’ve always been attuned to animals’ needs and emotions, approaching them with both gentleness and playfulness. I think becoming a pet sitter is a perfect fit for Avery and a gift to anyone who needs reliable, loving help with their pets. I would trust them completely with my own.”

Ciara C.
“Ciara walked my dog Skooter for about a year and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She treated him so well and he was always so excited to see her. She would give us constant updates and would make sure that we knew exactly how he did on his walks. She was such a sweet person to work with also. If she had a conflict she would let us know far in advance and even then, that rarely happened. We are so thankful to have had Ciara for Skooter, and we know that she will treat your dog with so much love too!”

Abigail G.

LeAnn L.
“Leann took care of my cat during a last second emergency where I would have to be gone for a while. My cat stayed at her place and was really well taken cared of. Would definitely recommend her!”

Valerie L.
“Valerie is a kind and reliable pet caregiver who treated my puppy like her own. Her love for animals truly shines, and I highly recommend her services!”
Roosevelt dog parents share their Rover experiences
Margaret did wonderfully with my nervous dog Kona! She pays close attention to detail and followed the care and access instructions to a T. She is very good about reading dog body language and understanding when a pet may be too hot, or too tired and goes off of the signals sent by the dog. She is super sweet and detail oriented and even takes great pictures of the pets under her care! Would absolutely book again!

Natalie was so great with our dog, Ray! One thing I really loved was that when she brought Ray back after their walk, I could tell that Ray really liked her! I trust my dog’s judgment 😊 It showed me that clearly Natalie treated her well! I also loved how communicative Natalie was.

Angela is wonderful! She keeps things fun by bringing our dog to different parks, and she’s super communicative so we always know how things went. Our dog has a thick coat, so Angela always makes sure to stay in the shade or near water on hot days which makes the walks much more enjoyable for our dog!
