About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.

“My beloved terriers are, unfortunately, double trouble, and I've been worried that I'd never find a petsitter willing to deal with them. One is a Jack Russell terrier (enough said!), and the other is some kind of chihuahua mix rescue. The rescue is terrified of everything and everybody; Liesa took special care to build trust and assure my rescue that she was safe. My rescue also refuses to walk in wet grass, and it rained the whole time I was away! When it rains, she holds her urine and does her business on the sly on a throw rug. Liesa dealt with the situation beautifully, changing out soiled rugs with clean ones at each visit. I couldn't be more pleased!”

“Did a good job of taking care of our cat while we were gone. She got fed twice a day and I didn’t have to think about it. She even did a good job being flexible when a family emergency came up and my parents were not able to watch the dog so she jumped in and helped take care of him by letting him out and making sure you sure he was fed we could get back home. Anna is knowledgeable about dog behavior and you can see her passion from day one. Our dog is anxious when meeting new people. Anna was very sensitive to her needs and made her feel comfortable. Anna asked lots of questions and went above and beyond in caring for Kona’s every need. Anna took Kona on walks, played fetch, provided mental stimulation and provided lots of neck and ear rubs. She was excellent in keeping us updated on how Kona was doing. When we’ve left Kona in the past she typically eats and drinks much less. Kona was eating and drinking and very comfortable with Anna. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.

Our cat normally roams outside, but she noticed he was hanging out under cars in the front, which is not normal, and she made sure to get him out from under and back inside. Liset was excellent! We have never used this app before and had to find a last minute sitter to feed and let out our dogs for a whole week. Liset made it very easy and was great at communicating everything and always responded to our messages immediately.
