I am currently solely doing freelance work which allows me a good amount of flexibility to care for pets. I do need to spend a few hours on my laptop for work everyday, and may need to leave sporadically for 1-2 drop-in visits for other clients throughout the day if I am housesitting for you. That being said, I would only be away for short periods of time and your pets will always get plenty of affection and exercise daily :)

Do your pets suffer from separation anxiety? What is their eating/medication routine? Any quirks/general habits I should be aware of? Any limitations (Walks? Time limit on walks or any other physical limitations? Reactive to other dogs on walks?) The more info I know about your pet/s, the better. Please note that for housesitting, I always send an update with photos at the end of each day. My reasoning is, this keeps you in the loop while still being able to enjoy your time away. A typical day
During housesitting, I typically give one 30+ minute walk per day. I like to switch up my routes, and sometimes take them on a car ride to a nearby park if permitted by the parents. If your dog is not big into walks but likes car rides, I will incorporate those. Of course, if they have any favorite toys we will be playing with those. I am also a professional cuddler and will cuddle with your pet/s as much as they will allow me to.

As a nervous first-time cat mom, I was reluctant to hire a stranger to stay at my home with my adolescent fur baby. Fortunately, I found Brooke. Brooke is kind, attentive, considerate and capable. She responded quickly to multiple check-ins and was clearly interested in making sure she provided continuity of care. I returned to a happy cat and a spotless home. Brooke is the consummate professional and a genuinely kind human. I intend to rebook in the very near future.
Brooke was great!! I was so nervous using rover for the first time, she was a breeze to work with and made us feel very comfortable. I loved the rover cards, she kept us updated and was very communicative. Highly recommend, we will be working together again!
We are so happy to have Brooke in our lives! She is so attentive and caring with our dogs. She is a great communicator, we always look forward to the pictures, videos, and reports from each day. One of our dogs had some bathroom issues while we were gone and she handled it so well and took care of our guy like her own. She also take great care of the house, it is so clean when we get home! Having Brooke takes so much pressure off of leaving town and we know our dogs love her, too!
I would highly recommend Brooke as a dog walker/pet sitter/ house sitter for anyone! I have a senior dog and 2 senior cats and she made an instant connection with all three. She followed all of my pet care instructions and “house rules” to a T. When we got home the house was spot less and it was like we never left. The pets were content and happy. I loved the routine updates and pictures that Brooke provided of our fur babies while we were out of town. I would give 10 stars but 5 is the max :D
