“Vanessa was amazing! We had all kinds of last minute changes of plans and she was flexible and understanding. I was so thankful to have Vanessa to take care of our senior and medical needs pups. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Taylor is absolutely amazing and we will be using her again!! We couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience! She took excellent care of Luna and Red while we were away. She made sure they were fed, had fresh water, got plenty of potty breaks outside, and most importantly, gave them lots of love and snuggles. She sent us photos and updates, which really helped us relax knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for. She exceeded every expectation. I accidentally mixed up and changed the schedule several times, and she was incredibly patient, flexible, and understanding throughout the entire process. Luna and Red were clearly comfortable with her, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about them. We will absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter! Highly recommend!”

“Brianne was absolutely fantastic with our pups! Made sure they had ample potty breaks and play time during her visits, the pups were so happy to see her. We will definitely be using Brianne again in the future!”

About: I’ve house sat, dog sat, and cat sat ever since I was young. I worked at a dog kennel for two years caring for all kinds of dogs and cats. I bathed, groomed, fed, administered medications and walked animals every day. I currently work full-time throughout the week Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm, but am very open on the weekends and may be able to work remote for special situations. I have some clients who enjoy that I have a full-time schedule throughout the week if they also work full-time so that the animals stay to their typical routine which works out great! I love to take dogs on walks and keeping them busy, as I am very active myself. I have a Labrador that knows every trick in the book! Although, I have also cared for older dogs/cats and know how much couch cuddles mean to them!
About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! As a grad student, I own a 13 year old cat and a 3 month old kitten. I also consistently foster and volunteer for our local humane society, where I have cared for animals of various ages, demeanors, and health conditions, and learned to detect and mitigate signs of distress. Surrounding myself with animals has allowed me to gain a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation for all of our furry friends! As an active person, I enjoy taking dogs on walks and playing with them outside. I take any and every chance to spend time with your pets while going on adventures and snuggling up with them. I also consider myself very punctual, prioritizing attention to detail, and I will stick to whatever food and medication schedules your animals have to ensure they don’t stray from their daily routines. My experience includes administering oral medication, checking glucose levels, and injecting medication, specifically insulin, into diabetic animals. My grad school schedule gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for class, errands, dinner with friends, etc., but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. I plan to start with a phone or video call consultation to get to know you and your pets in general, as well as dietary and medical requirements or other general needs. Prior to the pet-sitting date, I am happy to visit your home to meet your pet and get a layout of their daily routine in the home including feeding and sleeping locations. Regardless of if I’m house sitting or dropping in, I will make sure to be there at the scheduled times to give your pet(s) food and water, and provide necessary medication. I enjoy engaging in playtime and companionship to maintain their routine. I will take your dog for walks, ensuring they get the exercise they need, and I clean up after them. Finally, transparency is crucial. I will keep you updated on your pet's well-being through messages or calls and report any concerns promptly.
About: I grew up with dogs and Christmas still includes 5 pups. I have put boots on an aging golden retriever and have administered medication to dogs with both dementia and epilepsy I work from home so I can provide drop in service before 9, at lunch or in the evening. If I am house sitting I can work from your home and provide more frequent bathroom breaks but depending on the stay length/day I may need to leave for 2-3 hours in the even for social engagements or to care for my own cats. I will not have other animals in my home out of concern for my cats but I intend to match the pets daily schedule to my best ability to minimize the disturbance in their routine and provide some extra love while they are missing their humans.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals. When I was 10, I got my first ‘job’ caring for a family friend’s dog—walking a couple miles after school every day to feed, walk, and spend time with them. It’s something that really stuck with me and shaped my love for animal care. I work a 9-6 job as an Education Support Specialist at a local Early Learning Center. I get a long lunch break and spend that time going home. I’m also in the Army National Guard but constantly keep my schedule on here updated! All of my family is local so I am home for all the holidays as well. I am a home body so I love chilling with animals at my own home. I also enjoy going on long walks to get my steps in!
“Great communication and thorough updates. Showed up when she said and stayed the entire time. Would fully trust her with my puppy again anytime and recommend her to any friends.”

About: I've owned dogs all of my life and can provide excellent care of your dogs. They will get plenty of love and play time as well. I currently work from home and will be able to give your dogs plenty of attention. They will fit right in with us in our home. My dog is allowed to go outside on the leash because he is old and does not go very far anymore, but I can keep your pets on a leash while in my care. I can also crate your dog.

About: I've taken care of animals since I have been 8 years old. I lived in a multi dog and cat household. My parents had extensive knowledge of pets and caring for animals and passed this on to me. Friends have always relied on me to help care for and watch their animals when they are in need. I am trustworthy and reliable. I love meeting new animals and caring for all animals of all shapes and sizes and ages. I generally work Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm but I work within walking distance of my home and get a full hour lunch break to come home and check on any pets I am caring for. Weekends are generally pretty open for me and I enjoy staying home and spending time with my personal pets and hopefully yours as well. I have a fully fenced yard with a six foot privacy fence. We also have three cameras in our back yard that we can see the whole back yard at all times.
About: I grew up around dogs and I have experience in pet sitting for family and friends. I also have experience in training puppies and senior care. I am currently working part-time and I set my own schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I also love being outdoors and hiking with dogs I have a fenced yard with an indoor and outdoor security system. I prioritize safety and security. I also have an all season room I have used for temporary housing (strays and fosters).
“Not only is Dorothy an excellent dog sitter, but she is a true animal lover! This was confirmed at our meet and greet when she rescued a parakeet that had gotten itself lost and seemed to be begging her for help! It was amazing! Happily, the parakeet has found a wonderful, forever home with Dorothy! She is great!!!”

About: My heart is huge, and could look like the inside on a pet paradise. I am loving and reliable pet caregiver with a big heart for animals and a passion for making them feel happy, safe, and cared for. Experienced in feeding, walking, playtime, and providing attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s unique personality and needs. I treat every pet like my own—showering them with affection, patience, and plenty of tail wags (and purrs!) while their owners are away. Dependable, friendly, and dedicated to giving both pets and their humans peace of mind! As a mom to human children and my own pets, pet care and love is a daily routine for me! I take time to make sure all bathroom needs are met and feeding schedules stay the same! I always make time for pets and their specific needs! When providing care for a clients pet I make sure to respect the property and provide comfortable care to your pet in your home as described and planned for! I make sure things are as they were when I came and your home and pet is secure when I go!
About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
“Sara has been great with my corgi, Cersei! She is always on time and has been incredibly flexible with my schedule. She is also very considerate with Cersei and accommodating to her needs for the past few months and Cersei loves her. She will continue to be my go-to whenever I need someone to help with Cersei.”

Beth is the greatest! This was the first time I’ve used an in home person to take care of my pup. She was on time, sent pictures and provided updates as to my pups well being. Freddie can be a handful and Beth managed to exceed my expectations in the care she provided. I am definitely going to be calling her for future care.

Lori did a fantastic job taking care of our high energy Golden Doodle, Murphy. She made sure he had several walks a day and refilled his rotisserie chicken when he needed a refill. Lori kept in great contact with updates and photos. She went above and beyond, and brought in our mail too. We highly recommend Lori and are thrilled with the care she gave our fur baby! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Beavercreek with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
