About: Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am new to rover but I have a lot of previous pet sitting experience. I attended the Greene County Career Center for 2 years in the Veterinary Science field. This provided me with experience caring for animals, and set my passion into motion. I have had a job working with service dogs which gave me experience and knowledge with puppies, senior dogs, etc. I also have experience with senior pets as well. I have pet sat for many different people and pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and lizards. I can do things like give medication, let outside, take on walks, bathe, play, whatever your pet would need. I love all animals and would be happy to care for any! I am currently in college right now trying to get my degree, however I have summer off. When I do have classes they are online so my schedule is flexible! I can do whatever you need in your home to care for your pet! I can crate them if needed, can take them out every few hours, especially if I am staying in the house with them. Play, walks, clean litter boxes, feed, give medications, whatever your pet needs!

About: I grew up around dogs and I have experience in pet sitting for family and friends. I also have experience in training puppies and senior care. I am currently working part-time and I set my own schedule. I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I also love being outdoors and hiking with dogs I have a fenced yard with an indoor and outdoor security system. I prioritize safety and security. About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 and have had animals my whole life. I have volunteered at many shelters and fostered previously. I have experience with older, shy, more understanding needed animals. We are used to training puppies so can keep up with any needed continued care. I work from home and am able to give my full attention to your fur baby. I can move my breaks around for bathroom or attention breaks. My 5 year old GoldenDoodle will keep them company all day, as well. We have a fenced in yard and will keep your animal safe and loved. During walks if desired we have a fully sidewalked neighborhood. We have couch covers for the dogs to be able to get on the furniture if desired. If coming to your home I will leave everything as you left it, with the exception of your animal feeling relieved and loved.

About: Hi all, I've have had years of experience with all sorts of Pets from dogs,cats , reptiles , rabbits and so many more. All my friends and family call me if they ever have questions about their animal problems, or if there dog or guinea pig needs it's nails clipped. I love all dogs and cats of all sizes. I already have watched dogs for my friends for almost 3 weeks everytime they go one vacation. And I'm ready of all of your pets needs to ensure that you have one less thing to worried about while out the house. I have very flexible hours with my job so if you book a few weeks ahead or even days I am able to ensure I can book your appointment and I will have all the time that your pets will need. I don't crate at home but with walking or being at your home I will treat it with the most respect and make sure to abide by any rules for me or rules for your pets .

About: I grew up with dogs and Christmas still includes 5 pups. I have put boots on an aging golden retriever and have administered medication to dogs with both dementia and epilepsy I work from home so I can provide drop in service before 9, at lunch or in the evening. If I am house sitting I can work from your home and provide more frequent bathroom breaks but depending on the stay length/day I may need to leave for 2-3 hours in the even for social engagements or to care for my own cats. I will not have other animals in my home out of concern for my cats but I intend to match the pets daily schedule to my best ability to minimize the disturbance in their routine and provide some extra love while they are missing their humans.

About: I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Snoopy who loves long walks in the park and plenty of attention. I also have experience caring for Siberian Husky and a Shiba mix. Also taken care of gerbils, hamsters, turtles, and parakeets. I'm currently available with a flexible schedule. I enjoy taking care of dogs on long walks and playing fetch with them outside in the yard i have experienced dealing with a variety of dogs and pets. I have ample amount of experience giving dogs medicine that prescribed to them and feeding and giving plenty of water

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.

About: I've always been a huge animal lover, and pet sitting started because I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. My first job was caring for a family friend's dog, and I'd happily make the trip over after school to feed them, take them on long walks or runs around the pond, and make sure they got plenty of attention and exercise. It never felt like work—it was something I looked forward to every day. That experience sparked a love for pet care that has stayed with me. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy, an energetic adult dog, or a senior pet who needs extra patience and attention, I treat every animal like they're my own. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind that they're in good hands. Pet care has been part of my routine for the past 4½ years. I work a regular full-time job, but I come home on my lunch break for walks, potty breaks, and check-ins. Outside of work, I'm usually home, so evenings and weekends are spent with the pets I'm watching. My boyfriend—who also happens to be my neighbor—is home much of the day and loves dogs just as much as I do. We actually met because the Frenchie I was watching wandered into his house (saw a tennis ball!) , and the rest is history! Between the two of us, pets get plenty of company and attention. I'm pretty low-key and spend a lot of time at home, so pets get plenty of company. I enjoy going on long walks, so I'm happy to keep active dogs exercised. I stick to each pet's normal routine and make sure they're comfortable, well cared for, and getting the attention they need.
