About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I grew up with dogs and Christmas still includes 5 pups. I have put boots on an aging golden retriever and have administered medication to dogs with both dementia and epilepsy I work from home so I can provide drop in service before 9, at lunch or in the evening. If I am house sitting I can work from your home and provide more frequent bathroom breaks but depending on the stay length/day I may need to leave for 2-3 hours in the even for social engagements or to care for my own cats. I will not have other animals in my home out of concern for my cats but I intend to match the pets daily schedule to my best ability to minimize the disturbance in their routine and provide some extra love while they are missing their humans.

About: I’ve worked with rescue dogs for several years, which has given me experience with puppies, seniors, and nervous dogs with different needs and personalities. I’m comfortable with giving medications if needed and helping reinforce things like crate and potty training. My main focus is always patience and making sure each pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I take the time to really learn each pet’s personality so I can meet them where they’re at and build trust at their pace. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making time for in my day-to-day life! I’m organized and make it a priority to give each pet the attention and care they need while maintaining a consistent schedule. Even with classes starting up in the fall, I’ll still have the flexibility to provide reliable care and keep up with each pet’s routine. When caring for pets, my priority is keeping them comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all care instructions and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and care. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience where pets can feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for in the comfort of their familiar surroundings.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs and cats my entire adult life. I currently actively train my dogs at a local Kennel Club and specialize in deaf dog training. I currently own an embroidery shop and work part time. I work my dogs and take care of my kiddos outside of that time. I always enjoy working dogs and helping others. I have a privacy fenced in yard and am able to use my own transportation to pet sit as well. I am primarily available on weekends but feel free to send me any questions.

I take any and every chance to be able to spend time with your pets while going on adventures and being able to snuggle up with them as well. I also consider myself very punctual, prioritizing attention to detail, and I will stick to whatever food and medication schedules your animals have to ensure they don’t stray from their daily routines. My experience includes administering oral medication, checking glucose levels, and injecting medication, specifically insulin, into diabetic animals. I’m currently a full-time graduate student, so I have a lot of flexibility in the week with my class schedule. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! (Unfortunately, I do not have the space in my home to take care of your pets, but I am more than willing to take care of your pets in your homes to keep things as normal as possible for them!) *It is important to note that during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.), I will not be available, as I will be traveling over school breaks, but any other time of year, including 3-day weekends, I am extremely flexible! As a graduate student, I am busy during the middle of the day with classes. However, I am readily available most early mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. Your pet's well-being remains my top priority. I plan to start with a phone or video call consultation to get to know you and your pets in general, as well as dietary and medical requirements or other general needs. Prior to the pet-sitting date, I am happy to visit your home to meet your pet and get a layout of their daily routine in the home including feeding and sleeping locations. Regardless of if I’m house sitting or dropping in, I will make sure to be there at the scheduled times to give your pet(s) food and water, and provide necessary medication. I enjoy engaging in playtime and companionship to maintain their routine. I will take your dog for walks, ensuring they get the exercise they need, and I clean up after them. Finally, transparency is crucial. I will keep you updated on your pet's well-being through messages or calls and report any concerns promptly.

About: I've owned dogs all of my life and can provide excellent care of your dogs. They will get plenty of love and play time as well. I currently work from home and will be able to give your dogs plenty of attention. They will fit right in with us in our home. My dog is allowed to go outside on the leash because he is old and does not go very far anymore, but I can keep your pets on a leash while in my care. I can also crate your dog.
