About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! As a grad student, I own a 13 year old cat and a 3 month old kitten. I also consistently foster and volunteer for our local humane society, where I have cared for animals of various ages, demeanors, and health conditions, and learned to detect and mitigate signs of distress. Surrounding myself with animals has allowed me to gain a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation for all of our furry friends! As an active person, I enjoy taking dogs on walks and playing with them outside. I take any and every chance to spend time with your pets while going on adventures and snuggling up with them. I also consider myself very punctual, prioritizing attention to detail, and I will stick to whatever food and medication schedules your animals have to ensure they don’t stray from their daily routines. My experience includes administering oral medication, checking glucose levels, and injecting medication, specifically insulin, into diabetic animals. My grad school schedule gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for class, errands, dinner with friends, etc., but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. I plan to start with a phone or video call consultation to get to know you and your pets in general, as well as dietary and medical requirements or other general needs. Prior to the pet-sitting date, I am happy to visit your home to meet your pet and get a layout of their daily routine in the home including feeding and sleeping locations. Regardless of if I’m house sitting or dropping in, I will make sure to be there at the scheduled times to give your pet(s) food and water, and provide necessary medication. I enjoy engaging in playtime and companionship to maintain their routine. I will take your dog for walks, ensuring they get the exercise they need, and I clean up after them. Finally, transparency is crucial. I will keep you updated on your pet's well-being through messages or calls and report any concerns promptly.
“Kaitlyn is wonderful!!! Having a stranger take care of your fur babies is always stressful, but she took all our worries away. Always on time, played with the pups, took AMAZING photos & great communication. Had zero worries & will absolutely call her again next time.”

“Kristin was awesome with out dog Chester and was great at sending us pictures throughout the weekend and with communicating how things were going. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
“Suzannah was absolutely wonderful with my two cats, Davinci and Snickers! She took exceptional care of them while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. Every day she sent thoughtful updates with great photos, which made it so much easier being away from them. She made sure they always had fresh food and water, kept the litter box spotless, and even took the extra time to prepare a special plate of kitten food for Snickers. She also went above and beyond by bringing my mail and packages inside, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. I always knew how the cats were doing and never had to wonder if everything was okay. I highly recommend Suzannah to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional pet sitter. I'll definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Christina was great! She dealt with my cat's oral medication needs and chaotic litterbox habits. The kitties were happy and healthy and she left everything very clean and tidy!”

“Winnie loved Ms. Lisa! Ms. Lisa was attentive and followed all simple instructions left and went above and beyond to take care of some unexpected pest infestation we had. She communicated everyday and sent photos of how Winnie was doing. I really appreciate the love to my girlie and Winnie appreciates the attention and love she recieved from Ms.Lisa.”

About: I’m currently living on campus at my college and I come from a company in my hometown called HomeWard Bound which is a pet-care company that is very similar to Rover. I have many months of experience which lead me to enjoy this job and wanting to continue it when I live on campus. Over the summer I will be mainly free since my priority is occupying my time with taking care of animals and learning more about them! I care with patience and trust. I allow the pet to warm up to me if needed, no forcing. I follow instructions thoroughly since I have experience from taking care of numerous amount of animals.
“Trenton was absolutely amazing. Very caring and thorough in his care for beau, and was flexible and accommodating. You can’t go wrong with Trenton! Highly recommend.”

About: I am an animal lover! I have grown up around dogs my whole life and can sense when they aren’t feeling well, timid, or hurt. I will treat your dog with respect and treat it as if it is my own! Your dog will be in the best care and will always be happy with my services. I am a very flexible person and am always open to corrections or advice! My ultimate goal in life is to be a cop and preferably a K9 officer! My pricing is negotiable and can work around whatever schedule you may have. Don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, I am an open book and will show you the most respect! I appreciate you considering me as your future dog sitter, or walker! I work full time until 5pm but can check in on your pets Mondays and Thursdays when working from home during work hours! I am off on the weekend and holidays I give lots and lots of loves to animals. I have always been a fan of animals and always will. They are just too good to us.
“Joanna has been an amazing addition to our lil family knowing we can leave and our babies will be taken care of just as we would treat them. It’s been nice while on vacation not worrying about our babies.”

“Rayme was amazing! We needed someone short notice, and even with that, her communication was great, and she made sure to spend time and give some love to all three of our fur babies. We're booking with her for a longer trip and definitely feel great about leaving our babies in her care!”

“Brandon looked and took care of our dogs as if it was his own. He is also very communicative and provided us daily updates. Also went the extra mile and cleaned after our pups even though he didn’t have to…highly recommend! And def would rebook again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.
“Whitney was so considerate, communicative, and caring for my dog, and her genuine good wishes for my pets was evident through the way she gave me detailed updates, took great care of my home, and gave pets and love to all of my household.”
“Great communication and thorough updates. Showed up when she said and stayed the entire time. Would fully trust her with my puppy again anytime and recommend her to any friends.”

Catherine was absolutely amazing! She took wonderful care of my two schnoodles for 3 & 1/2 days, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. From the moment I met Catherine, I felt she was a genuine, caring person and I knew my two schnoodles were in loving and capable hands. She treated my pups like they were her own, making sure they were happy, well cared for, and loved during every visit. I especially appreciated the thoughtful updates and adorable photos she sent—they gave me peace of mind and made being away from my dogs much easier. Seeing them in their own environment safe and happy in every update meant the world to me. Catherine even suggested I put a camera focused to the two pillows where they slept, which helped with my anxiety about leaving them. Seeing them safely resting made my out-of-town visit so much more enjoyable. When I came home, my schnoodles were relaxed, happy, and clearly had been showered with love and attention. It was obvious that Catherine went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. She even washed their dishes every day. If you're looking for someone who is kind, dependable, communicative, and truly loves animals, Catherine is the one. She is a totaI professional at her business and I would trust her with my dogs again in a heartbeat and recommend her without reservation. Thank you, Catherine, for taking such wonderful care of my furry family!

Lisa was amazing with our dog, Nala! From the start, we felt confident she was in caring hands. She was attentive, reliable, and loved animals. Lisa kept us updated with messages and photos, which meant a lot. Nala looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time. We would trust Lisa again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking someone who goes above and beyond for pets.

Juno was absolutely amazing with Storm! I work long 12-hour shifts in the ICU, so having someone reliable drop in for a 30-minute visit is a huge relief. She communicated so well the entire time and made sure Storm got outside. She even went above and beyond by offering to tidy up around the house while she was there! Highly recommend her if you need someone trustworthy who genuinely cares.

This was my first time leaving the dogs to be checked on by a non family member. Morgan was so kind to do a meet and greet a week or 2 in advance. My 3 dogs loved her instantly! Morgan let me know when she arrived for the drop in, sent me a picture, and texted again when she left. I will absolutely request Morgan again!

Mandi did drop in visits for our two older dogs and was fantastic! She thought of everything I didn’t, took exacting notes of their routine, clarified what I left out. She made every extra effort, the boys were in great hands. She was friendly and great to work with, I highly recommend Mandi’s expertise and we will be sure to reach out in the future in hopes she is still available!
