About: I'm a lifelong pet lover with immense patience and a willingness to meet your pets where they are. As the proud pet parent of a 14-year-old cat and a 4-month-old kitten, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your loved ones in another person's care. This is why I treat every animal with the love, patience, and tenderness I show my own. Outside of my home, my pet care experience includes fostering and volunteering for our local humane society. I have cared for animals of all ages (including bottle babies), demeanors, upbringings, and health conditions, and learned to detect and mitigate signs of distress. Specifically, I have cared for rescues with traumatic pasts and anxious pets who are working to rebuild their trust in people. My experience also includes administering oral and in-ear medication, checking glucose levels, and injecting medication, specifically insulin, into diabetic animals. I would love the opportunity to take care of and get to know your pets. As we bond, my camera roll will quickly fill up with photos and videos, so you can expect many updates from me! **Safety** *I am Pet CPR & First Aid certified!* I am very cognizant about the toys, objects, and food items around the house, including my own belongings. Once you learn more about a pet's personality, you also learn which ones you have to keep a close eye on. I would never feed a pet anything that isn't provided by the owner, unless explicitly requested. You can never be too careful when it comes to safety. Your pet's health is my biggest priority, and I would never want to put their safety at risk. **My Schedule** *I will be moving out of state in April 2027. If you are seeking a recurring, long-term sitter, unfortunately I am unable to offer that.* My grad school schedule gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. Outside of pet care, I maintain your home’s routine, including watering plants, checking mail, and ensuring your home is secure. I may leave throughout the day for class, errands, dinner with friends, etc., but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. Before booking, I always start with a phone call and an in-person meet & greet to ensure I'm the best fit for your pets, understand their routines, get a layout of necessary care items in the home, and allow your loved ones to become familiar with me. During the stay, I adhere to their daily routines as much as possible to mitigate stress. I also treat your home with the utmost respect by ensuring doorways and gates are secured, setting security systems when entering and leaving the home (if applicable), and keeping all personal items, cords, food, and small items out of reach. I also ensure your home is left clean and tidy before I leave so that you can return to your daily routine sooner!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 and have had animals my whole life. I have volunteered at many shelters and fostered previously. I have experience with older, shy, more understanding needed animals. We are used to training puppies so can keep up with any needed continued care. I work from home and am able to give my full attention to your fur baby. I can move my breaks around for bathroom or attention breaks. My 5 year old GoldenDoodle will keep them company all day, as well. We have a fenced in yard and will keep your animal safe and loved. During walks if desired we have a fully sidewalked neighborhood. We have couch covers for the dogs to be able to get on the furniture if desired. If coming to your home I will leave everything as you left it, with the exception of your animal feeling relieved and loved.

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: Years of animal care with dogs and cats. Im an animal lover and will make sure your baby is taken care of. I have a soft spot for seniors of all kinds and experience with animals that require special needs! I am working on building my career, which makes my schedule super flexible! Such a open schedule means that I can take care of your fur-baby at times that are best for you and most convenient for your life. Unfortunately I can not offer boarding in my own home, although I do offer dog walking, drop ins or house sitting services. I pledge to treat your home and little one as if they were my own! I understand the importance of a schedule and a safe environment.

About: I am a registered Veterinary Technician and work in the veterinary field. I have experience in medicine administration and etc. I have been a dog mom for more than 20 years. I am also Fear Free certified to ensure your pet is at ease and comfortable. I currently have 2 small dogs of my own. I love all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have worked with many large and small breeds. I currently work full time in the veterinary field. I am available to care for your pet most Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I have 2 small dogs that I care for at home already. It is easy to say this is something I do all day every day. I have a big fenced in yard for your dog to run and 2 small dogs to keep them company. I also have a sidewalk neighborhood 1 minute away from my home that is great for long walks. I also have plenty of places for your pet to rest inside if that is what they prefer as well.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for as long as I can remember! I grew up with my own dog from ages 8 to 23, and he taught me so much about love, patience, and responsibility. Over the years, I’ve also house-sat for multiple families, caring for one to two dogs at a time — providing walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of cuddles. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take pride in keeping them happy, safe, and comfortable while their people are away. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m home most of the day, which makes it easy to fit in walks, playtime, or drop-in visits around your pet’s needs. I love having animals as part of my daily routine — they bring such great energy and joy to the day! We currently have two cats in our family, they are so well loved and cared for. We clean their two litter boxes every single night, they eat twice a day and have a water fountain for their water that I make sure to clean and refill often. They enjoy being outside when we are outside but come in right away when we go inside. But it helps for them to get some fresh air!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.
