About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life and I got my first cat when I was 10. My friends and family know me as someone who is passionate about every type of animal and have trusted me with the care of their own loving companions for 9 years. I currently work part-time and have a very flexible schedule so I can easily provide services as short and sweet as walks and drop ins, to services like house sitting and boarding after communicating with you about what will work for both of our busy human schedules and what works best for your fur babies. While I don't have a fenced yard, I live in a very dog friendly community where potty breaks are short walks with my own dog Maggie who will be your dog's best friend and playmate. After that there are snuggles on the couch with my cat Coraline.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. From family, friends, neighbors and even teachers, they have relied on me to feed, medicate, walk, groom, play and love their babies like my own. Every animal is different, but always loved! I’m currently and fortunately a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open! During the school year, I’m available after 9am and could work afternoon needs around pick up times. School is about to be out, so my schedule would be open! I’m not doing in home services due to my rescue having a bad past and still working on trusting other dogs. In clients homes, I’d make sure to follow all requests, communicate what happened during the visit and have the utmost respect for their home/pet(s).

While also cleaning up and taking care of any accidents or sick spots. Gracie provided detail updates every day and made me feel extremely happy with leaving our cat in her care while we were away! About: I have been caring for animals since I was a small child. I’ve cared for fish, frogs, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, etc. I have plenty experience dog sitting and dog walking a variety of breeds, ages, and plenty of fun quirks. I’m currently available Tuesdays and weekends, and I’m happy to work with pet parents looking for consistent weekly care, especially midday drop-ins. I volunteered at SICSA and completed classes focused on both cat and dog care, giving me a strong foundation and animal behavior, safety, and enrichment. I also share my home with a 5-year-old German Shepherd and have worked closely with a professional trainer picking up many effective training techniques along the way. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement are at the heart of how I interact with every animal. Whether your pet needs a midday break, a walk to burn off energy, or simply some company while you're away, I'm here to help. My goal is to give your pet a great day - and give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, capable hands. I'm recently retired, which means I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your pets. I offer open availability every day up until 3:00 p.m., making it easy to fit in walks, droppings, play time, or midday check-ins. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break or some extra company while you're away, I'm here to help keep their routine smooth and stress free. I take care of pets in their own home by following their normal routines, keeping their space clean, and giving them plenty of attention and comfort. About: I will happily care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. Whether your pet wants to lay around or go for a hike, we can do that! I have experience training a dog of my own, so I can maintain your usual basic training/rules if needed. I have a great deal of experience giving medication, both liquid and pills to cats and dogs. I am also open to more than just cats and dogs! I have cared for birds, reptiles, frogs, fish, and more. I’m currently working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. I understand if this does not work for your pets needs, but I assure you I deeply enjoy caring for animals and your pets are a priority to me.
