Dog Sitting Moraine

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a small child. I’ve cared for fish, frogs, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, etc. I have plenty experience dog sitting and dog walking a variety of breeds, ages, and plenty of fun quirks. I’m currently available Tuesdays and weekends, and I’m happy to work with pet parents looking for consistent weekly care, especially midday drop-ins. Building a routine and getting to know your pet’s personality is my favorite part of pet sitting! I always make sure the fur babies have fresh water and food if need be. I try to include a little play time of some variety along with plenty of cuddles.

About: I've taken care of animals since I have been 8 years old. I lived in a multi dog and cat household. My parents had extensive knowledge of pets and caring for animals and passed this on to me. Friends have always relied on me to help care for and watch their animals when they are in need. I am trustworthy and reliable. I love meeting new animals and caring for all animals of all shapes and sizes and ages. I generally work Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm but I work within walking distance of my home and get a full hour lunch break to come home and check on any pets I am caring for. Weekends are generally pretty open for me and I enjoy staying home and spending time with my personal pets and hopefully yours as well. I have a fully fenced yard with a six foot privacy fence. We also have three cameras in our back yard that we can see the whole back yard at all times.

About: My family has owned dogs my entire life and I got my first cat when I was 10. My friends and family know me as someone who is passionate about every type of animal and have trusted me with the care of their own loving companions for 9 years. I currently work part-time and have a very flexible schedule so I can easily provide services as short and sweet as walks and drop ins, to services like house sitting and boarding after communicating with you about what will work for both of our busy human schedules and what works best for your fur babies. While I don't have a fenced yard, I live in a very dog friendly community where potty breaks are short walks with my own dog Maggie who will be your dog's best friend and playmate. After that there are snuggles on the couch with my cat Coraline.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. From family, friends, neighbors and even teachers, they have relied on me to feed, medicate, walk, groom, play and love their babies like my own. Every animal is different, but always loved! I’m currently and fortunately a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open! During the school year, I’m available after 9am and could work afternoon needs around pick up times. School is about to be out, so my schedule would be open! I’m not doing in home services due to my rescue having a bad past and still working on trusting other dogs. In clients homes, I’d make sure to follow all requests, communicate what happened during the visit and have the utmost respect for their home/pet(s).

About: I’ve had dogs since I was in middle school and have had a Lab, a Lab/Pit mix, and a Yorkie, so I’m used to all different sizes and personalities. My Lab/Pit mix is very energetic and anxious sometimes, so I’ve learned a lot of patience and how to handle dogs that need extra attention and care. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ve also helped friends and family by letting their dogs out, feeding them, and checking on them while they were away. I think dogs deserve a lot of attention, time outside, and love, not just being stuck in a cage all day. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m currently home for the summer and work part time, so I have pretty flexible hours and am home most of the time. Pet care already fits naturally into my routine because I spend a lot of time taking care of and playing with my own dogs every day. I’m available for walks, drop ins, feeding, and playtime depending on the day and what is needed. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for based on their normal routine and personality. I know every dog is different, especially dogs that are anxious or high energy, so I try to make sure they feel comfortable and stress free while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I’ll follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any instructions carefully. I also make sure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day.
