“Kristin was awesome with out dog Chester and was great at sending us pictures throughout the weekend and with communicating how things were going. I highly recommend her!”

“I had a last minute trip to make when my grandma got sick. Minty was available and made time to do a greet and meet before I had to leave. She was great with Nickels and I could tell by the photos that he really enjoyed her company ??”

“I could not be more appreciative of Catherine! She was very easy to communicate with, she kept me updated on when she would be there, and she sent multiple updates and pictures! It was a very last minute booking, and I couldn’t have made a better choice!”

“Suzannah was absolutely wonderful with my two cats, Davinci and Snickers! She took exceptional care of them while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. Every day she sent thoughtful updates with great photos, which made it so much easier being away from them. She made sure they always had fresh food and water, kept the litter box spotless, and even took the extra time to prepare a special plate of kitten food for Snickers. She also went above and beyond by bringing my mail and packages inside, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. I always knew how the cats were doing and never had to wonder if everything was okay. I highly recommend Suzannah to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and professional pet sitter. I'll definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Laci was great dropping in on our dogs during our week long vacation. From start to finish she was easy to communicate with and our dogs were happy and well cared for when we returned and we look forward to booking with Laci again!”

About: I've shared my life with animals for more than 30 years, and I truly can't imagine a home without them. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, hermit crabs, and more. Every animal has its own unique personality, and getting to know what makes each one feel safe, happy, and loved is one of my greatest joys. My heart has a special place for senior pets. My beloved Shih Tzu, Paisley, was my soulmate and constant companion for 15 wonderful years. Caring for her through every stage of life taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying attention to the little things—whether that's noticing a change in behavior, sticking to a medication schedule, or simply knowing when a pet needs extra comfort and reassurance. Today, my home is filled with the joyful chaos of two rambunctious hounds, Hunter & Brownie, and one mischievous black kitty, Batman (Mr. Meeps), who keep me laughing every single day. They remind me that every pet is wonderfully unique, with their own personality, quirks, and favorite ways to be loved. Whether your companion is an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a sweet senior who prefers a slower pace, I'm committed to providing the individualized care, patience, and affection they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is about so much more than feeding and walking them. They are family. When they're in my care, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I'd want for my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, endless games of fetch, quiet cuddle time, or simply having someone nearby who makes them feel safe, I'll meet them where they are. I'm dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'll provide plenty of love, playtime, exercise, and affection, along with regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy pet—and for your pet to look forward to seeing me again. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This flexibility means I can accommodate your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication reminders, or simply spending quality time together. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable care so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can maintain their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I'll follow your pet's schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), potty breaks, litter box cleaning, and, of course, plenty of love and attention. I'll also make sure your home is respected by bringing in mail or packages, watering plants if requested, and leaving everything just as I found it. I know every pet is unique. Some love to play, some prefer long walks, and others simply want a calm companion nearby. I'll take the time to understand your pet's personality and tailor my care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll also send regular photo and message updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence, knowing your pet is receiving attentive, compassionate care every step of the way.

My schedule is wide open, meaning I can easily accommodate regular routines, mid-day breaks, or last-minute, short-notice requests. Im happy to set a routine as well sinc ei know this helps with over all comfort for everyone. I can come for short walks or hour long walks, whatever you need! “Sandy took great care of our cat. She kept in contact with me and sent pictures each day. She always responded on a timely manner. She even fed our hummingbirds. I highly recommend Sandy to care for your pets.”

“Grace has been watching my dog while I’m at work for the past few months and she does a great job with him. She’s reliable and even taught him a few tricks. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.
About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. When I was a teenager, I had an older dog with declining health. I was her caretaker, making sure she had her medications and was provided with the proper diet. I even had a crib in my room where she slept. I truly believe our dogs and cats are more than just pets, they are members of our family. We have two dogs in our family, a 9 ½ year old Labrador and a 3-year-old Cattle Dog. They are definitely at different energy levels but both love to play and snuggle! I am currently a stay-at-home dad but as the kids have grown, they need me less and less. This gives me a lot of flexibility to care for and play with your pets! I can be available most hours of the day and night and am available on weekends. We play a lot in our house. Our Cattle Dog will fetch the ball for hours if we will throw it. Our Labrador likes to lay in the sunshine and watch. Not a lot of running for her! I will play with your pets and ensure they get the exercise and attention they need when you are away from home. You can rest assured that they will be well cared for!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
