I've been around animals for as long as I can remember and started working at a dog grooming salon when I was 12 years old. That experience helped me become very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Over the years, I've fostered puppies, dogs, and cats, and I absolutely love helping animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I've also trained several dogs and have experience working with puppies and reinforcing routines and good behaviors. I rescued my cat, Priscilla, about five years ago, and she has been a beloved part of my family ever since. You may notice a gap in my reviews. I previously pet sat regularly but took a break after moving out of state. Now that I'm back home, I'm excited to start caring for pets through Rover again! I work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and provide plenty of attention and companionship. I'm happy to accommodate last minute overnight bookings whenever possible, though I do appreciate 48 hours notice. For drop in visits, a few hours notice is usually sufficient. When caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, and any other habits they're accustomed to. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable and stress free as possible while you're away. If I need to step out briefly, I typically prefer to crate dogs for their safety if they are crate trained. However, I am happy to follow your preferences and whatever works best for your pet. Please let me know about any special needs, medications, dietary restrictions, anxieties, behavioral concerns, or anything else that would help me provide the best possible care.
