I've been around animals for as long as I can remember and started working at a dog grooming salon when I was 12 years old. That experience helped me become very comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Over the years, I've fostered puppies, dogs, and cats, and I absolutely love helping animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I've also trained several dogs and have experience working with puppies and reinforcing routines and good behaviors. I rescued my cat, Priscilla, about five years ago, and she has been a beloved part of my family ever since. You may notice a gap in my reviews. I previously pet sat regularly but took a break after moving out of state. Now that I'm back home, I'm excited to start caring for pets through Rover again! If I need to step out briefly, I typically prefer to crate dogs for their safety if they are crate trained. However, I am happy to follow your preferences and whatever works best for your pet.
