About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I've shared my life with animals for more than 30 years, and I truly can't imagine a home without them. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, hermit crabs, and more. My beloved Shih Tzu, Paisley, was my soulmate and constant companion for 15 wonderful years. About: I have watched dogs ever since I was little. I started with a family friends two huskies. They loved to run in their yard and would come visit us on days that we weren't watching them by jumping the fence. When I was 10 or 11 we got our first dog and then we got another a few years later. My wife and I now have three dogs all of which are rescues. I can help with any animals so long as I have a few days heads up that you need help. I have experience watching pretty much every kind of pet from snakes to horses. If you need your dog, or even your cat, walked than I will be happy to help. I can even just stop by to make sure that everyone has a chance to go outside throughout the day. I can stop by and just sit with your pets or I can take them out into the yard and run or throw the ball with them. I am also happy to take them out on long or short walks depending on the pets needs and age. If anybody need medicine I have plenty of experience giving it to them as well as giving dogs physical therapy while recovering from surgery.

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

My dog is an elder with a prior back surgery, so I’m no stranger to disabilities, giving medicine, and even expressing bladders. About: Professional companion care at a great price for those that value their animals! I am a very clean and cut healthcare professional that loves to care for animals on the side, your dogs and cats will come home happy and healthy. I work part time in healthcare, if the time you need is during one of my workdays, I may have to reject the booking depending on what it is. Other than that, pet care fits well into my life. I have a fenced yard and one dog & one cat of my own. I also have a number of large dog parks nearby, as well as walking paths to go to.
