About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: Our dogs were very well trained - we have dog sat many times for neighbors, We have a passion for dogs and take time to make sure they feel safe and happy. We will spend a lot of time playing with the dogs indoors and outdoors. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for the dogs to play. Will comfort older dogs and dogs with less energy. I have also been around cats both young and older for 30+years. I will treat your fur baby like my own. Would love to help out with your beloved pets! About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have grown up around both cats a dogs. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs. My dog, Phoebe, was diagnosed with lymphoma in October of 2025, and I helped care for her by giving her medication, bathing her, taking her on multiple walks each day, and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. She passed away in May, and I miss our daily walks and spending time with her. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a pet's individual needs. I currently have three cats and regularly care for all of them. I'm comfortable bathing cats, trimming their nails, and recognizing when they need extra attention or a little space. When I was nine years old, my family adopted a kitten that had been abandoned by its mother, and I helped bottle feed and care for him, giving me experience with very young kittens as well. This summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day. Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy, so I'm happy to work around your pet's routine, whether they need early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening visits, or multiple visits throughout the day. About: Starting in 2015, while working as a housekeeper, I became the go-to pet sitter for many of the families I cleaned for. Even after starting my career as an esthetics instructor, I stayed on as their trusted sitter, continuing to care for their senior cats and dogs alike, foster dogs, special needs dogs, dogs with behavioral issues. With both a cat and dog myself and having raised two litters of pups, I offer a wide variety of knowledge and expertise. About: I have been trusted by many friends and family for years to provide dog care services. I have watched multiple dogs, big dogs, dogs that take meds, anxious dogs, etc. I am willing to walk, check in, or stay nights if needed. With summer my weeks are random. Most weeks I will be free unless already booked. I do online classes so am able to spend a decent amount of time watching dogs. I have watched many dogs in the past. I should be able to do whatever is needed regarding care for the dog. I am happy to help.

I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky.
