“Emma is awesome! She takes great care of my pets and my house! She keeps in touch, lets me know how my pets are doing, and daily sends me pictures of my fur children. I know that when she is here, everything will be taken care of!”

“Leesa was amazing. She was so attentive to our 5 furbabies while we attended a wedding. She sent video and pictures which kept us content while being away from them for so long. She is awesome!”
“I have never left on vacation without feeling complete angst about leaving my dogs behind. They usually spend the entire week hiding under the bed when we hire house sitters. But with Monroe, they seemed to not even realize I was gone! When I returned it was just like I came home from work that day - they were relaxed and happy to see me then went on about their day. I can't say enough good things.”

“Katharine was great!! We had a short one night trip but Katharine was great to work with and took great care of our pets. She checked in about our travel plans, gave great updates and was very communicative! We’ll definitely use Katharine again for future travels!”

“Lisa took the best care of my babies while I was away. It was very apparent that she gave them the same degree of quality time that I give them myself. Would definitely request her services again if needed in the future.”

“Elisa did great with our fur babies! She stayed with them 2 nights and they loved all the attention she gave them.❤️ She texted pictures while we were gone so we were able to see how well she was taking care of them. We’ve already booked her for another night in April!”

“Thank you, Mia!! Mia took care of my sweet coonhound this past week. She was thoughtful to maintain Jolene’s regular routine as much as possible and quick to communicate with me about any questions or concerns. Jolene had a wonderful time :)”

About: I have had quite the experience with dog sitting for the past 10 years. I have the experience for any type of dog or cat and have been well entrusted with families. I am currently working part- time and have the time to help out! I enjoy spending time with a animals and love to help out when needed:) While I’ve only dog sat for others and have a dog myself, I love caring and being around animals. If needed training I could work with them and crate training.
“Kathleen did such an amazing job taking care of our cat and dogs! She sent detailed updates and pictures and gave us complete peace of mind knowing our pets were in such good hands. We would have Kathleen back to house sit anytime!”

“Tyler was amazing! The pups didn’t seem to miss us at all. She was attentive and provided photos frequently without any prompt. Will definitely be using her again for our pups.”

About: I’ve always had small dogs — it’s kind of a family tradition. (Mostly Chihuahuas… if you’ve met one, you know exactly what that means! 🥴😝) I also walk my aunt’s dog, who’s a little bigger, and I’m usually the one friends call when they need someone to care for their pets — dogs or cats — while they’re away. After 13+ years in retail (yes, at Old Navy — and no, it’s not like the commercials 😅), I realized my real passion has always been spending time with animals. I’m kind, patient, and protective, and I genuinely enjoy giving pets the time, affection, and attention they deserve. So if you’re looking for someone dependable who will treat your pets like family — I’m your person. (And hey, if your pets have tiny wardrobes, I’m great at folding those too! 😝) I’m currently working full-time in retail, but I’m hoping to transition into pet care full-time. My goal is to establish regular clients so I can eventually dedicate all my time to caring for dogs and cats. For now, I’m flexible with my retail schedule and happy to work around it to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, safe, and loved. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine — feeding schedule, favorite toys, walks, and any special needs or habits. If I’m watching pets in a client’s home, I make sure to keep things consistent with their normal routine so they feel relaxed. I give plenty of playtime, cuddles, and attention, and I always keep food and water areas clean. I also send photo updates so owners know their pets are happy and cared for. If I’m caring for animals in my own home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment — secure spaces for cats to explore, comfy spots for naps, and safe outdoor time (if allowed). I treat every pet as if they’re my own, because that’s what I’d want for my animals too. While my own yard is smaller and perfect for my small dogs, my sister has a much larger yard, and she’s given me full access to her home and property whenever needed. That means I have plenty of safe space available for bigger dogs to play and get the exercise they need.
“Susan was absolutely outstanding in every way! She followed all instructions and spent lots of time with our dog. She went above and beyond! We will definitely book with her anytime we go out of town. 10/10”

“Isabella did a great job with our two dogs overnight while we were at our wedding. They’re a handful sometimes and she found time to leave a handwritten note and treats behind. We look forward to booking her again.”
“Aine was really helpful and accommodating for us when a friend had to back out of sitting on a short notice. Mae Mae, our Pitt-Terrier, seemed to really enjoy her time with Aine. Mae Mae even made sure to say goodbye to Aine when we got home. Aine was great about Mae Mae's schedule and we are very appreciate for her help.”

“I give Ben an A++. I couldn’t have asked for a better new buddy and caregiver for my fur babies. Ben’s calm and welcoming presence is exactly what my dog needed while I was away. I feel so much better knowing they are just as cared for and loved as when I am home.”

“Asche was wonderful. she stayed two weeks in her crazy household. When we came home, our animals were very happy and well taken care of. My house was respectfully taken care of as well. Asche communicated and sent pictures often. I would have her again in a heartbeat if she was willing!”

“Brandon was a great house and dog sitter for the weekend. He was respectful and reliable. Communication was open and he was always quick to reply. Our dog can be male reactive as well but Brandon took his time and had patience when getting to know him. Absolutely would recommend and will use for his service again.”

Oakwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Roxie. She is incredibly attentive, caring, and treats Roxie like her own. Erin makes sure she gets plenty of walks, playtime, and affection, and I can always tell Roxie is happy and comfortable when she’s with her. It gives me such peace of mind knowing Roxie is in such good hands. If you’re looking for someone dependable, loving, and truly dedicated to the pets she cares for, Erin is the perfect choice. Highly recommend! 🐾💛

Marin was so sweet, polite, and great with our 2 pups! She provided daily updates and photos which greatly eased my anxiety while away! She was responsive, adaptable and a true help. She stayed in our home and took great care of that, too! I would highly recommend Marin :)

Janice stayed at our house for a weekend taking care of our 16 year old miniature poodle Toby. She was very attentive to his needs and kept us abreast of any changes. She sent us pictures of Toby throughout the weekend. We would definitely recommend Janice to other pet owners and hope to use her again in the future.

Danielle was a FANTASTIC dog sitter. She took wonderful care of our puppy while we were gone. She followed all instructions and went above and beyond by being available for an extra day at the last minute and also by administering ear infection medication for our dog. She was very good about giving us updates and our house somehow looked better after she had stayed here. We plan to use her again for future dog sitting needs and walks. So happy to have found such a wonderful person to watch our pets. Thanks again, Danielle!

She is PHENOMENAL!!! I had her stay at my house for a week. I have 4 dogs and they were very taken care of. The house was left very clean too! She sent pics and updates daily and was very attentive and communicative. I will continue to hire her for all of our dog sitting request. I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more from her.. we love her!

We are so glad to have found Brooke! She went above and beyond for our three senior dogs and made us feel totally at ease. She kept us updated with photos, videos, and notes everyday. We got home to a clean house and happy dogs. She was great with our instructions for the medications for the dogs and they all got exercise throughout the week. We’d highly recommend her!

Gracie did a fantastic job taking care of my 3 boys. She regularly sent me updates and reached out if she had any questions. She also tidied up my place before she left which was by no means expected but was so, so appreciated! I definitely look forward to booking her again when I need a sitter next!
