About: I have always loved dogs and other animals growing up. Currently I work at home. I’ll help with whatever you need for your furry friends! I can only provide the occasional “as needed” watch and not so much daily daycare services. I have a Rottweiler Doberman mix who is my world. She is 6 years old. Very active and well behaved. She would love to make some friends as well! I used to work at an animal shelters when I was younger. I can give out oral medications. Please let me know if you would like a dog sitter or walker for your time of need. Can work around any schedule even if it’s just dropping by. “Valerie was fantastic. I've used her twice so far, once for a few day vacation and once for an overnight. My poor girl is a little neurotic and has social and generalized anxiety. She's on a ton of daily meds and has a few situation meds as well. She very quickly warmed up to Valerie. I already have care sheets printed up for my girl, but Valerie came with a notebook prepared to write everything down so that she wouldn't have to rely solely on her memory. She was very flexible on the day of our meet and greet when I had to work 2hrs later than I expected. She was also willing to be flexible on start/end dates (within what her schedule allowed). Ended up not needing to change plans on the vacation, but she did end up coming over early on the day of the overnight (with unfortunately not as much notice as I should have given her). Valerie spent most the day(s) and all nights with my girl and sent photo updates. Fortunately, my dog only had one freak out while I was gone, and Valerie was very patient with her. Before I left for vacation, I'd tried to clean as much as I could, but there were a couple of things I meant to do and just ran out of time. When I got home, the house was actually a bit cleaner than I left it. She didn't reorganize my things or anything that I'd have been frustrated by, just... that little bit extra. Could not have asked for a better sitter. Will definitely be reaching out again!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am new to rover but I have a lot of previous pet sitting experience. I attended the Greene County Career Center for 2 years in the Veterinary Science field. This provided me with experience caring for animals, and set my passion into motion. I have had a job working with service dogs which gave me experience especially with puppies. I also have experience and knowledge with senior pets as well. I have pet sat for many different people and pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and lizards. I can do things like give medication, let outside, take on walks, bathe, play, whatever your pet would need. I love all animals and would be happy to care for any! I am currently in college right now trying to get my degree, however I have summer off. When I do have classes they are online so my schedule is flexible! I can do whatever you need in your home to care for your pet! I can crate them if needed, can take them out every few hours, especially if I am staying in the house with them. About: I have had animals my whole life. Mostly cats, dogs and rats. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, so I am comfortable giving insulin injections if needed. I also have two cats currently that require daily pills, so I have experience in that as well. If your pet requires anything else specific to keep them happy and healthy, I am happy to learn their needs and routines. I am currently an artist that sells my work online and at some in person events. This generally leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the weekdays and weekends where I am not at events. I will keep my availability up to date so that it can accurately show when I am able to come check on your fur baby. I think its most important for your pets to feel safe with me, so I always try to introduce myself slowly and maintain any routines your household has developed for them. I am also happy to send daily photos as I check in, that always makes me feel better when I am away from my cats, so happy to do that or anything else to have you feel good about leaving your furry family in my care.

As a nervous first-time cat mom, I was reluctant to hire a stranger to stay at my home with my adolescent fur baby. Fortunately, I found Brooke. Brooke is kind, attentive, considerate and capable. She responded quickly to multiple check-ins and was clearly interested in making sure she provided continuity of care. I returned to a happy cat and a spotless home. Brooke is the consummate professional and a genuinely kind human. I intend to rebook in the very near future.
She was a phenomenal sitter! She kept us updated all day letting us know what was going on with our puppy. She was very understanding of all her needs. Watching a 14 week old puppy is not always easy! She was amazing and the communication was perfect. She is extremely warm, caring and trustworthy. Would definitely trust her with my pups!!!
