I already have care sheets printed up for my girl, but Valerie came with a notebook prepared to write everything down so that she wouldn't have to rely solely on her memory. She was very flexible on the day of our meet and greet when I had to work 2hrs later than I expected. She was also willing to be flexible on start/end dates (within what her schedule allowed). Ended up not needing to change plans on the vacation, but she did end up coming over early on the day of the overnight (with unfortunately not as much notice as I should have given her). Valerie spent most the day(s) and all nights with my girl and sent photo updates. Fortunately, my dog only had one freak out while I was gone, and Valerie was very patient with her. Before I left for vacation, I'd tried to clean as much as I could, but there were a couple of things I meant to do and just ran out of time. When I got home, the house was actually a bit cleaner than I left it. She didn't reorganize my things or anything that I'd have been frustrated by, just... that little bit extra. Could not have asked for a better sitter. Will definitely be reaching out again!”

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am new to rover but I have a lot of previous pet sitting experience. I attended the Greene County Career Center for 2 years in the Veterinary Science field. This provided me with experience caring for animals, and set my passion into motion. I have had a job working with service dogs which gave me experience especially with puppies. I also have experience and knowledge with senior pets as well. I have pet sat for many different people and pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and lizards. I can do things like give medication, let outside, take on walks, bathe, play, whatever your pet would need. I love all animals and would be happy to care for any! I am currently in college right now trying to get my degree, however I have summer off. When I do have classes they are online so my schedule is flexible! I can do whatever you need in your home to care for your pet! I can crate them if needed, can take them out every few hours, especially if I am staying in the house with them. Play, walks, clean litter boxes, feed, give medications, whatever your pet needs!
