Doggy Day Care in Alpha

About: I have spent a lifetime caring for my own pets as well as rescuing animals. I think pets are an extremely important part of my livelihood and good mental health so I understand that your pet is an integral part of your family as well. I also understand that I am a guest in your pets home and will treat your home with the utmost respect and privacy. I am a mom, a wife and an Air Force veteran and I understand that schedules change due to work, family needs, and sickness. Being a stay at home mom with school age children allows me to be flexible and reliable. I also received my OH-EMT Intermediate medic training at WPAFB while serving in the military. I am very comfortable administering medications and any treatments. As of 2023 I also obtained my Instructor Animal CPR and First Aide Instructor Certification. I am a full time pet care specialist/trainer. I specialize with dogs that have anxiety disorders that can show themselves as aggressive behaviors which I believe are actually unmet needs. Starting April 4, 2024 we begin construction on a fenced in yard so we can provide day training/daycare while you are at work and boarding!

“Wow! Incredible! I hesitate to leave an awesome review because she was so unlike any other sitter and I want her all for my dog. Hatsuki is on another level. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Hatsuki had printed (let me say it again, she printed a sheet!) a profile of clutch so she can make notes about his needs. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. This was so she can give me all the pictures she would take including the ones she would send me as updates throughout the day. Thank you Hatsuki you were amazing!”

About: My wife and I have been taking care of our dog and foster dogs for the past 6 years. We've taken care of dogs ranging in size of French bulldogs to Siberian huskies. We have experience with high maintenance dogs and giving medications as well. My wife and I currently work from home and have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups. During the week boarding availability is best in the evening after 5 but accommodations can be made if needed. Weekends are 100% free and open. I have a larger fenced in yard and great neighborhood for plenty of walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. We have plenty of different dog toys and beds throughout the house too.

About: For the past 8 years, I have been involved in rescue work and have gained experience fostering dogs and cats of varying ages and personalities. I have also worked at a dog training facility, gaining more experience and knowledge of dogs' body language, needs, and training. From caring for newborn puppies to senior dogs, from fearful to playful, every experience has been fulfilling. I am a proud owner of three rescue fur babies who bring love and joy into my life every day. I will forever be grateful for all the lessons they taught me and continue teaching me every day about love, joy, compassion, appreciation and patience I believe in using positive reinforcement methods and showing patience and creativity when handling animals. I have deep respect for their unique personalities and always strive to ensure their safety and well-being, fostering positive associations and allowing them the freedom to make choices independently Hey there! I recently relocated to Dayton and am looking for opportunities to spend as much time as possible with animals. I am fascinated by animal psychology and behaviour, and by how they learn and communicate. I regularly take my pups to dog classes in the evenings, go on long walks during the day and study online from home I have three beautiful pets to keep your fur baby company, or I can separate them so your paw-friend has peace of mind and personal space. If you prefer to keep your sweet little one in the crate, we will make it a calm, relaxing experience with a yummy food puzzle and classical music in the background. When pet sitting at your place, I can follow your instructions and guidance to make sure the little paws have everything they need. I enjoy spending time teaching dogs good manners and new skills. We practice obedience training with my pups every day, and my cat just started learning new tricks too. If you like, I can create an individual training plan for your pet during their stay, or you can let me know what to work on, and I'll make sure your pup is receiving the training. Any training is welcome, from puppy training to obedience to learning new skills. Change is stressful and scary, so I will make sure your fur baby has enough attention, physical exercise and mental stimulation. I have plenty of interactive toys for busy-minded pups, as well as lots of ideas for healthy, long-lasting snacks, such as food puzzles, KONG toys, lick mats, and sniffle games. And I'm always open to trying new activities if our furry friend has a favourite toy or game

“I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. She was extremely responsive and would send me pictures and videos all day without me even having to ask. She has a nice big fenced in backyard that Arlo loved running around freely in all day. Each evening I would pick him up he was exhausted from having fun playing all day. (His besty was her dog, Vanilla) 😊 I cannot recommend Katherine enough. She made my experience great and worry free. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and puppies for 11 years . Had puppies and cats when younger I had to walk and feed and give potty breaks I’m currently at home most of the time so I would have plenty of time to take care of your furry beautiful puppy . I will feed play give them water I have a fenced yard that he or she can play in . I always take them on a leash for a potty break. I have two puppies at home they can play with

About: I've owned dogs all of my life and can provide excellent care of your dogs. They will get plenty of love and play time as well. I currently work from home and will be able to give your dogs plenty of attention. They will fit right in with us in our home. My dog is allowed to go outside on the leash because he is old and does not go very far anymore, but I can keep your pets on a leash while in my care. I can also crate your dog.

My schedule is flexible which allows me to plan my day around pet care needs. Regular potty breaks, daily walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. My apartment complex also has a dog park, which I can use for supervised play and exercise when appropriate.

About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. My family dog is a husky, so I can take on big energetic dogs, and my first dog ever was a Yorkshire terrier with medical problems, so I know how to administer medication if needed (I have a background in the medical field as well). You can have a stress free day knowing your animals are safe and well cared for with me. I will be with your pet the entire stay, so you don’t ever have to worry about them being left alone for long periods of time. I live in a townhouse, so I have two levels, making it larger than your average apartment. I also have a back yard with a lead allowing your dog to run around without being hand held on a leash for every potty break. I also enjoy to walk the dogs around the complex, as they get “new information” and excitement from smelling new experiences around them.

“Loree and Jeff were great with my German Shepard! I cannot say enough good things about this couple. My boy received plenty of exercise (playing ball and walking) which he needs every day. He came home tired every day which to me is a sign of an awesome day for my boy. He also received snuggles and love as well. Communication was excellent via text and several photos were provided every day. Five star rating--that's for sure.”

“Nate & Whitney were amazing! This was my first time using Rover and it was very last minute. The two were so accommodating and my pup, Miller had a blast with them. They sent pictures & updates throughout the time with him. He also got to go on a nice long walk and played lots of fetch. Would definitely recommend and will be using Nate & Whitney again!”
