“Joanna was great. Short notice she was able to get my dogs out for a walk. She was right on time, friendly and my dogs loved her. I will use her again if the need arises and if she is available.”

About: I’ve been loving and caring for dogs for over 30 years. My pet care experience started with the family pets as a child. I would give fresh water and clean up messes in the yard. Later on, I volunteered with animal shelters for close to 8 years. With the shelters, I would clean kennels, provide clean food and water, take dogs for walks/jogs/runs and play, provide medications when necessary, and take note of any medical or behavioral issues. I also fostered 24 dogs over the course of 2 years for a rescue organization. I would pick the dog up from whichever location they were being boarded at and bring them in to live with me until they ended up in a forever home. I’d take them for walks, play with them in the yard, take them to adoption events, drive them to vet and grooming appointments, and update their online profiles with pictures and videos showing how happy they were to be out of the shelter. In addition, I have cat and dog sat for many friends and family over the years. I’m retired, so my schedule is extremely flexible. My current “job” is taking care of my own dog. I can usually be available any day and any time. My dog does whatever he wants in my house, but I can follow any special instructions you have for the care of your loved one(s). If you don’t have special instructions, that’s ok, I’m more than capable of providing your loved one(s) with the essentials of food, water, exercise, and love.

“Lucy loves Michelle! Michelle is professional, and treats Lucy with great care and compassion. She loves our dog as if she were her own. I know I can trust any of my pets with Michelle. She has so much great experience and she really knows how to care for animals. ❤️ She’s the best walker/sitter we’ve ever had!”

About: I have worked with individuals looking for dog sitting as opposed to boarding their dogs for several years. I have worked with experienced dog trainers as an available dog sitter and dog walker by reference. Your pup can stay with me, I can also visit your home, or in general walk your pup! I am happy to meet beforehand to discourage any issues with your beautiful doggo and learn as much as I can. I am available most weekends, evenings, early mornings as well as (depending on location) during the work day. I am not a trainer, but do have connections in the industry and would be happy to connect you. I love dogs and working with owners. Let's talk about how I can best help you and your pupper! Woof woof!

“Our dog Attie loves her walks with Hunter! We chose Hunter for twice-weekly walks; Hunter is great at communicating and wants to do what’s best for your pup.”

About: I’ve always been a dog lover and give my sweet pup Attie all the love in the world. I grew up with dachshunds and currently have a 8–year-old mixed breed, who we adopted. My husband and I trained Attie with positive reinforcement to ensure her obedience without taking away from her fun-loving spirit. I love meeting and bonding with the dogs I sit, and I would love to open my home to your pets. My availability during the summer months is flexible. I am a full-time teacher, so during the school year, my availability is limited, but I am willing to work with clients to figure out the best plan that will work for you and your dog. Dogs must be crate-trained. I work full-time as a teacher, so Monday-Friday, pups need to be crated during the day for up to 8 hours while I’m at work. After work, I can provide walks and play. On the weekends, I’m open. I have a fenced yard and Attie, who loves meeting new dogs and making new friends. Dogs will need to be crated when no one is home and at night if not house trained.

“Katie was great! On time, every time and easy to communicate with. She took great care with our dog who is recovering from surgery and kept up with our puppy. Definitely recommend her!”

About: I hope to be your pet's new favorite friend! I am a very attentive sitter, putting your pet before all else. I spent two years helping to take care of my housemate's dog, Emma. I kept her well-fed and watered, played with her and let her out as needed. Now, I am a secondary caregiver to four dogs on our organization's farm. I focus on their health, taking care of deworming and any other acute ailment that may arise, so they stay happy and healthy! I am also a cat mom and stepmom, with 3 cats in total. I care for all of their needs on a daily basis. I'm free before 8 am and after 4:30 pm Saturday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are flexible and I can come by during any time of the day! I will provide services in the Beavercreek/Dayton area through mid-July 2025. I am very respectful of the spaces of others. If I housesit for you, your house will remain exactly how you found it. My only focus will be your buddies!

“Kelsi did so great with our dogs! Sent lots of pics and videos showing our doggos love! Definitely will be using her again!”

She has her own cage within a large and high playpen, which large dogs would have trouble getting into.

“I wholeheartedly recommend Will as a dog caregiver on Rover! Will is one of those rare people who treats dogs with the kind of love and attention that goes beyond anything you'd expect. I’ve known Will for over seven years, and he’s always been an incredible dog owner, giving his all to every dog he meets. Like many dog owners, I was anxious about trusting anyone to care for my fur-baby. Will changed that for me. Knowing my dog was with someone as dedicated as him gave me complete peace of mind. Will is trustworthy, attentive, and caring; your dog will truly be in the best hands!”
