About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work as a part time tutor. My classes typically consist of Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9-2:15 and Tuesday and Thursdays 11-1:45. Then, I work 3:30-6:30 (sometimes 7:30) as a tutor When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I have a lifelong history of caring for aninals, wether it be on the farm as a kid or the five years of experience in veterinary medicine. I love playing, snuggling and learning the personality of all animals. With this combination of experinece and love I am the perfect fit for any family needing a sitter. I curently have a sweet dog, and a cat. Adding another animal into my daily routine would be an easy fit and transition for me. My pets are like family to me. I prioritize their well being above all else. I extend the same care and dedication to other's pets, striving to ensure their happiness and health at all times.

“I was recovering from a surgery and needed help with my handicapped dog. I'm so glad I found Nick! My girl Charlie is paralyzed in her hind in and and needs to be put in her wheelchair when going outside or for walks. She is also incontinent so she needs her bladder expressed. I wasn't able to do any of this. After explaining all this to Nick he quickly learned how to take care of all of her needs. Charlie adapted to him as well. I was very impressed with Nick he was always on time and with his positive attitude, took Charlie in her wheelchairs, for a "GOOD QUALITY" walk. About: UPDATED 5/5/25: I have years experience working in a luxury boarding facility working with multiple breeds of dogs and cats of varying temperaments. I also work with rescue groups/animal shelters and normally have a foster animal or two in the house. Please know that I firmly believe no request is a stupid request. I pride myself in being a true animal lover and quite possibly having seen it all. I’ve been used as a pillow for Leonbergers and Great Danes. I willingly allow kisses, even from mastiffs that drench my face in slobber. I’ve sat in a corner and read recipes to a dog that had ZERO human interaction for weeks on end and fed her cheeseburger just in an attempt to get her to trust me. I’ve been bitten by both dogs and cats. I’ve dealt with all the the “nasty” clean ups, and while that is not my favorite part of animal care, I can truly say- I understand and I got you! I have a special needs pittie that requires medicine every 12 hours for seizures and a heart defect, so if your pup requires meds that is A okay! I understand the importance of not only making sure they get their meds, but that they get it ON TIME. I am here for your crazy, silly 4 legged friends that require extra attention and care. My other rescue pup is dog aggressive. I pride myself on being able to read dogs’ body language and being able to de-escalate issues before they ever occur. I am used to having to be super cautious about everything and I am happy to care for your animals that are a little quirky or not as sociable as others. We all have our days right? I work a full time job as an AR Specialist during the week and this does not allow me to do during the day drop in visits. AS OF 5/5/25, I AM ONLY ACCEPTING LONG WEEKEND OVERNIGHT STAYS (Thursday evening-Sunday evening or shorter) or weekend drop ins. I work from home on Fridays and would be able to be home with your pets the majority of that day and I’m off on the weekends! I work a hybrid work schedule and work from home on Fridays. If you are needing a weekend get away, I’m the sitter for you! The care I offer is unmatched and is specifically catered to you and your pets’ needs. My animals love to lounge and are low energy. But I have many clients with high energy dogs that require walks multiple times per day. As your sitter, I will do what you and your animals want me to do!

(In addition to lots of pets & love, of course!) I pride myself on being very reliable and giving you peace of mind. I will keep a close eye on your pup for the entirety of the visit and I will communicate with you about how each visit went.

About: I’ve cared for pets my entire life and understand how important it is for them to feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. I provide care in a calm, home-based setting and intentionally limit care to one or two families at a time, allowing each dog personal attention rather than a crowded environment. With a fully fenced yard and a focus on routine, comfort, and supervision, I tailor my care to each dog’s individual needs and personality so they feel at ease while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. Dogs get regular potty breaks, meals, playtime, and attention throughout the day, with care tailored to match their normal schedule as closely as possible. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and I limit the number of pets I accept so each one gets plenty of personal attention. I adjust care based on each pet’s needs, personality, and comfort level.

About: I grew up with multiple animals: dog, cats, and birds. Any pets I interact with will be treated like they are my own. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I work full time but I’m working remote frequently and have a lot of flexibility that would allow me to be at your disposal when you need it most. I know how important is to keep a routine. I live by my calendar and keep a regular schedule that is easy to work around. I am used to walking both of my animals at the same time (80 lb lab and a 35 lb hound mix).
