About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelor’s degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE ☺️ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.

We have experience with high maintenance dogs and giving medications as well. My wife and I currently work from home and have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups. During the week boarding availability is best in the evening after 5 but accommodations can be made if needed. Weekends are 100% free and open. Hers is more of a boarding situation with a separate building and individual kennels with several dogs present. This was intimidating for both of our smaller dogs, especially our rescue, but they calmed after a bit. Angel did put them in a back kennel away from the other dogs which helped.”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

I curently have a sweet dog, and a cat. Adding another animal into my daily routine would be an easy fit and transition for me. My pets are like family to me. She was very accommodating for my senior blind dog and gave her medication (my dog is also diabetic and requires insulin). It was easy to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times.
