âMorgan did a fantastic job watching our little Theo. She was extremely responsive and communicative - providing numerous updates and photos throughout his stay. Would highly recommend Morgan for any pet sitting needs!â

âJoe is awesome! Heâs kept our dogs 6 or 7 times and theyâre always so happy when theyâre with him. He doesnât send daily pictures or updates unless you ask, but if you need to reach out he is very responsive to communication. When Joe keeps the dogs, we know that we can enjoy our time away without having to worry and we know that they will be well taken care of! I highly recommend him for your pet sitting needs!â

âLoree and Jeff are two angels sent from the doggy gods! They were absolutely amazing with my shepherd Zeus. They sent lots of pictures and communicated almost instantly with all of my questions. They really treated Zeus like their own dog and spoiled him so much! I will absolutely be asking them to dog sit again, I have zero complaints!â

âCatherine and Adam were wonderful sitters for our two dogs. They were very responsive, sharing updates and photos, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. Would definitely recommend!â

âPietro was absolutely amazing!! Maple is nervous around men but she was so comfortable with him. He sent plenty of pictures and videos and even kept her a few hours longer to help me out since I broke my leg. Would definitely recommend!!â

âTammy was wonderful, she was very friendly and gave me a heads up on what she did and what to expect. She was super with Tpmi, he seems to be comfortable around her. She has a lovely home, and very clean, and she was very professional. Tammy had sent me pictures and updates on Tomi's, which was very helpful since it was my first time leaving my dog. I would use her service again. Thank you Tammy for taking good care of my dog while I was away!â

About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelorâs degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE âşď¸ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I will follow all instructions on their meals and any meds they may have.

âI appreciated being able to do a meet and greet with Greg before booking. He has a very calm and pleasant demeanor, and I knew Bear would be in good hands. It was also nice to receive a recap and some videos at the end of his stay. We will use Greg again!â

âabsolutely amazing!! rachel is so sweet and sent lots of pictures and updates while we were gone. iâm so happy that she made sure our pups were happy and well taken care of like they were her own! very flexible and took us super last minute.â

âOur dog had a wonderful visit. We were sent daily updates and photos. Our dog enjoyed playing with Kathrynâs dog in her big fenced in yard and the family seemed very welcoming.â

âKAREN IS AWESOME!!! I canât rave how comfortable I felt leaving my babies with her and they obviously had a great time as my anxious and very shy dog tried to stay with her lol that told me everything I needed to know ! I will definitely book again and every-time we need a sitter !â

âTreven loved having other dogs to play with and Vanessa provided extra reassurance that things were going well throughout his stay. I hope he is able to stay with her and her family again.â

âEmily and her husband were wonderful when caring for our dog Teddy! Emily sent several updates and pictures during Teddyâs stay with them, and he seemed to have gotten a lot of love from their family! We will definitely reach out to Emily in the future to help with Teddy!â

âEmily has watched Lilly for me multiple times. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an individual who ensures their dog is well taken care of and is loved on during their stay. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Kettering
Cerah and her family were excellent with our senior dog who doesnât hear or see well anymore. She is extremely understanding of his needs and had very clear communication with us before and during the stay. We were very happy with our dogâs 2 week stay and hope to use her again!

Alysia is a great sitter for our pup Max! She was very careful and considerate when we first introduced him to her dogs, and they all play well together. Max comes home tired and happy! She's responsive and always sends photos and updates. We feel very comfortable trusting her with watching our boy!

Laurie and Jeff took such great care of Maggie while I was away. She had some digestive problems which they took care of with a temporary diet change to chicken and rice. Jeff taught her to "shake" ...Who says you can't teach an old dog (9 yrs) new tricks? In many of the pictures they sent she seemed to be "smiling" I was informed every 1-2 days of how Maggie's day was going, with pictures accompanying the messages. I recommend Loree and Jeff highly.
Isla had a great stay with Rebecca and her family. We have only used one dog sitter with our dog and they were not available so I was concerned how Isla would do with other dogs, but she loved running around with their dogs. Rebecca is truly a pet lover and was super with our dog, canât recommend her enough.

Melissa was wonderful!! Her communication was great throughout the whole process. She sent pictures & kept us updated during the time Captain was there. Captain had fun & a great time playing with her dogs, just like he was part of the family. He was even allowed on the bed and gave Melissa kisses he was so happy while he was there. I would have Captain go back there anytime. She was great & I didn't have to worry about a thing. I felt comfortable & knew he was being taken care of!! I would recommend Melissa for a Rover to anyone.

Jacqueline was really good with Duke. Responded super fast and gave multiple updates each day! I will definitely have her become a designator sitter for my puppy! We were so worried about leaving him with a sitter but Jacqueline was very responsive which allowed my worries to go away!

This is our third time using Carey and Bonnie, and once again, we had a great experience. Sam, our Goldendoodle, is an anxious fella who struggles with separation anxiety. They loved on him and made him feel right at home, as always. We received daily updates, photos, and videos throughout his stay. They're the best of the best! THANK YOU@@

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
