About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a teenager and I cannot imagine life without at least one. I have seen an uptick in requests from family and neighbors to take care of their furry friends when they are away and am always happy to do so. I am dedicated to making sure that their pets feel as comfortable in my home as they would in their own. I currently work from home the majority of the time and my wife works from home full time. Between the two of us we have enough flexibility to let dogs out in the yard to play or take them on short walks. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own, Smokey. If house-trained, I like to let dogs have the run of the house. I will crate dogs if I have to leave the house, at least until I get a sense of how they do on their own.

About: First of all, I am a High School Special Education teacher off for the summers and holidays! I am trustworthy, safe, and have been fingerprinted (lol). I have never seen a puppy I didn't love!! At our house, our puppies are one of the family. They do almost everything with us!! I feel so guilty when I have to leave them for work each day! We used to have horses and mini ponies, guinea pigs and we still have a fish. I currently have two Shi-Tzu's. One is 6 years old, and the other is 10 months. My best buddy of 15 years just passed away on Thanksgiving. He was a Shepherd Chow mix. I miss him so much. All of my dogs were\are patients at the Banfield pet care inside of Pets mart. I have them on the pet insurance\ care plan. My older shi-tzu likes to ride on Golf carts, and in the baby carrier on my bike. She also likes to swing on the baby swing at the park
