“Absolutely wonderful!! Took exceptional great care of our puppy Little Bit for a multi day overnight stay. Great to work with and communication with photos eased my concern of how she was doing. Jenna truly is a natural care giver. Her home is set up perfectly for keeping dogs. Little Bit had a great time and loved playing in the pool. Thank you so much for a positive experience. Will book in future.”

“Loree and Jeff were nothing short of amazing with our dog, Meatball. They took her in for a 4 night stay on practically no notice and treated her like she was their own. We received updates and pictures every day which we appreciated so much. We highly recommend Loree and Jeff to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies and we know our Meatball will definitely be visiting them again.”

“My dogs loved going to Rachel's house. They stayed for one night on a last minute booking. Rachel was very responsive to texts through the booking and stay, and even worked with us when we had car troubles and had to pick the dogs up later than expected. My dogs seemed very comfortable and happy there. I'd definitely use her again!”

“We really appreciated Joe watching our two dogs! He was incredibly kind and provided updates so we knew they were doing well. He went above and beyond accommodating a later pickup when our flight was delayed. Thank you, Joe!”

About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. I am hoping for so this full time! As of right now I have a job 9-5 most days! Except Sunday and Monday I’m off! If I can start doing this full time, I would available all days! 7 days a week, anytime between 7am-10pm. Let’s talk about how I can help you. I provide a calm, secure space, follow routines closely, give constant supervision, and treat every pet like my own—with patience, respect, and love. I take my job very seriously and handle with so much love and care.
“Dulce loves staying with Aubrey! Aubrey is always caring and responsive. I highly recommend her and her awesome skill with my dog and all the other new dog friends Dulce has made while under Aubrey's careful and loving watch ?”

“Karen is an angel and experienced dog caretaker, and was very sweet to our active but shy dog, who woke her up early and likely ran around like crazy the whole weekend. Her yard is fenced, and she even allowed our dog to swim in her pool! She sent frequent updates on the app, which was big relief since this was our dog's first time away!”

“Amani did a great job with my Frenchie!!! She sent photos while I was away and was a great communicator. She has a beautiful home and big fenced in backyard! I would reccomend her to anyone.”

“Nate and Whitney took exemplary care of Murphy while we were on vacation. This was our first time leaving Murphy with a sitter and they made sure we knew he was well taken care of. They sent pictures of him and kept us updated of how much food he was eating. 10/10 recommend.”

About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelor’s degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE ☺️ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I will follow all instructions on their meals and any meds they may have.
“Carmen took wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time we needed to board our almost 2 year old dog, who has separation anxiety. Carmen’s knowledge of animal behavior was very helpful in this situation. My dog seemed to enjoy himself! Great experience!”

“All I can say is AWESOME!!! Fred so much loves going to see Catherine and if I could give a Million star review I would. You know you found a gem when the day you are going to drop off and all I said was were going to see Catherine and Jovie, and Fred was like already in the car! Thank you so much!!!”

“Treven loved having other dogs to play with and Vanessa provided extra reassurance that things were going well throughout his stay. I hope he is able to stay with her and her family again.”

“This was Tuckers 2nd time with Emily. We had a longer vacation this time and Tucker was very well cared for. We received tons of pics and the drop off and pickup were flexible. Thank you Emily!”

“There is a reason I always call on Katherine when I need someone to watch my fur baby; she always does an excellent job and my dog Onyx likes going to her place. She spoils him! ❤️”

“Bill was amazing! He helped me out last minute when it didn’t work out with a sitter and I had to travel the next day. He had a great fenced in yard and quiet neighborhood so I felt at ease having Ni Ni there. Bill sent updates and took wonderful care of her. Will definitely book again!”

“Best sitter ever! Amanda was so kind and understanding and made us feel so at ease when we left our baby! She took great care of him and sent photos and updates and when I went to pick him up he was so comfortable sitting on her family's lap and enjoying himself! Your baby is in good hands with Amanda!!”

Michelle always gives great updates, and puts my mind at ease. This was the longest I’ve had to leave my dog for (1wk) and when we picked her up she was just her happy silly self. I appreciate her taking care of my dog and providing her with love and lots of play time with her dogs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
