“Melissa was very accommodating and helpful. She accepted and helped carry in his crate which is the safest place for him if they leave the house. She said that would only be for a short time and maybe not at all. She sent several pics of our dog playing outside , interacting inside or making himself at home on a bed. He was safe and returned home tired from all of his play/running around. I was very grateful for Melissa’s care.”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.

About: I understand that different breeds of dogs need different structures and require different levels of exercise and enrichment. I am very patient and am willing to work with and help train any dogs that may need it. I can work with big or small, high energy or low energy, social or shy! I currently work in the healthcare field and am using this opportunity to branch out into new experiences. I have a relatively open schedule, given that I only work 3 days a week It's important to uphold a clean and safe environment for any animal, so I make sure that there is nothing an animal can get into that they shouldn't. I have 3 lovely cats which receive plenty of love, properly portioned food, and water with dental care add in. Thankfully we have an electric litter box but I am no stranger to cleaning a litter box! I also make sure they're properly groomed and have clean ears, and occasionally they get a good walk when it's nice out! I have owned a dog in the past who received frequent walks, lots of love and play time, properly portioned food, and I paid attentive care to his needs. I also owned two rabbits, who received plenty of hay and enrichment through playtime, a constantly full water bowl, and plenty of space to run around and exercise, as well as proper grooming and nail trimmings frequently For any animal, I know it's important to pay attention and access care plans frequently in order to keep them happy and healthy! So I ensure your furry family member will be properly cared for and I do everything I can to make their lives better

“Kayla provided excellent dog boarding services. We received texts and photos to keep us informed of how our dog was doing. She understands dogs and has a system to keep them apart if they don't get along with hers. We knew our 'Teddy' loved staying there when we picked him up. Will definitely the next time we're passing through the area.”
