About: As a dedicated vet assistant, I have immersed myself in understanding animal well-being. I handle a variety of different animals varying in shapes and sizes at work. I am well educated on animal temperaments and proper care. For eight years, I was the primary caregiver for a senior dog with a heart condition. He sadly passed away in October of 2023 after living a long happy life of 20 years! Prior to having my little dog Prince, I have had various pets throughout my entire life, everywhere from puppies to birds to reptiles. I now share my home with my two rescued cats, Doja and Marble, and a rescue dog named Abe! Abe is friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I have a large gate in the home to separate the cats from the dogs, so there will be no stressors for any of the pets who stay with me. Having cared for animals with diverse medical conditions and temperaments, I am adept at recognizing signs of discomfort or distress, and I am well-prepared to handle unexpected situations with care. With my experience in veterinary medicine, I also offer nail trims for an additional cost! Please reach out to me if you would like this included in your service. About: My goal is to give you peace of mind by caring for your pet like they’re one of my own. During every visit, your pet will get more than just the basics. They’ll get plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and the same love and care they’re used to at home. You’ll always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. I love keeping owners updated, so you can expect clear communication, lots of photos, and little updates from your pet’s day. With over 7 years of pet-sitting experience, I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I take the time to get to know each one so they feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for. I’m available for pet sitting and drop-ins, and can provide care outside of my work hours. I work Monday through Friday from 8–4, with an hour lunch break. I’m typically able to provide potty breaks about every 4 hours, including the midday visit during my lunch break (weekdays). I’m fully available before and after work, as well as on weekends. I’m very tidy, organized, and respectful of everyones homes, and I make sure everything is kept clean and well cared for during my stay. I care for each pet as if they were my own, taking the time to assess their individual needs, routines, and comfort levels. I always follow your preferences to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and at ease while in my care.
