“Michelle has been so flexible and understanding in the midst of a big work transition, handling my frantic changes with grace and kindness. Really appreciate having one less thing to worry about!”

“Cassie took such good care of our two dogs while we were out of town and even through power outages over the weekend she still came and took care of them in the dark. Will definitely be booking with her again when needed”

“Valerie was absolutely wonderful!!! She FAR exceeded my expectations! She responded to my request within an hour and had excellent communication with me the entire time. My son is out of town and she went to his apartment to check on his cat, Luna. Luna is extremely shy and rarely comes out for anyone — she barely comes out for me — but Valerie was so patient and gentle with her. She stayed with Luna, sent me photos and updates, and even cleaned out a very unpleasant litter box that I truly didn’t expect anyone to deal with. That alone meant so much. You can immediately tell she has a genuine love for animals and such a kind, caring soul❤️. Valerie is recently retired and clearly does this because she truly loves animals, and it shows in the level of care she gives. I cannot say enough good things about her!! I will absolutely be using her again and again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, and incredibly kind with their pets. 🐾❤️❤️❤️”

“I could not be happier with the care my pets received from Kathleen!! She visited on time, she provided pictures at each visit, and she administered medication to my dog daily. She completed the report cards at each visit, letting me know how they were and if they had any accidents in the house. She also brought in my mail and packages and made sure my home was even cleaner than it was when I left. I will definitely be using Kathleen for my future pet sitting needs!! Thank you, Kathleen!!”

“Here’s a polished version that still feels warm and personal: Amy did an amazing job taking care of our new 2 month old kitten, Snickers, and our 2 year old cat, Davinci. She spent quality one on one time with both of them while also helping them get comfortable playing together and getting to know each other. She was very communicative throughout the entire process and always provided thoughtful updates during her drop in visits. She also sent several adorable pictures of Snickers and Davinci that we really appreciated while we were away. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing our cats were in such good hands. Highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter!”

“Nikki did a great job taking care of my two cats. She communicated with me daily about how my cats were doing while I was home. I highly recommend her to take care of your pets!!!”

“Diana was wonderful to work with and did amazing with our 2 dogs. This was our first time using the service and also leaving them home alone and she did amazing easing our worries and went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. We will certainly ask her to come back next time we need someone to look after them!”

“Lori did a fantastic job taking care of our high energy Golden Doodle, Murphy. She made sure he had several walks a day and refilled his rotisserie chicken when he needed a refill. Lori kept in great contact with updates and photos. She went above and beyond, and brought in our mail too. We highly recommend Lori and are thrilled with the care she gave our fur baby! Lynne & George”

“Mckinzey is super sweet and my boys absolutely loved her! I’m very happy to have found somebody we all like. Great communication and very patient during the meet and greet with my dogs since they’re afraid of strangers of first. We can’t wait to hangout with her again!”

“My young Ridgeback is a handful at first but Beth was his new friend within minutes. He was super relaxed around her and that says it all. She’s super flexible with night shift schedules and last minute changes to dates. She’s great!!”

“Originally I had somebody else booked. They cancelled the morning visit on me. Our dog was left hungry and more than likely had a full bladder. Bradley to the rescue! I explained the situation and Bradley dropped everything to take care of our furry family member. It's apparent his love for animals is genuine. All communications were smooth and pleasant. Bradley has earned our trust and we'll continue to use his services! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!”

“Emma went above and beyond when taking care of our cat Cooper. He warmed up to her so quickly and she made sure we were always updated on how he was doing. I enjoyed seeing all of the photos she took of him when I was missing him. I would 100% trust her to look after him again.”

About: My husband & I and our 7 children live in a home in north Centerville. We have a large backyard that is fully enclosed with a 6’ wood privacy fence. We have a great neighborhood for walks and socialization and we also have several, more secluded walking trails nearby for a tranquil relaxed stroll. Our children range from ages 3-14 and have all been around dogs since birth and are excellent caretakers as well. We have 2 family pets, a 6 year old female Lhasa Apso and a 4 year old male Shih tzu. Neither uses a crate and we don’t require any crating. Our goal is to make sure your dog enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. We can maintain any schedules you have established and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart. Regardless if your dog has energy for days or is older and prefers to snooze on a comfy blanket - our home can accommodate both types of dog. I am a stay-at-home mom so I am almost always home and I have the flexibility to accommodate various schedules and routines. With a large household it’s extremely rare that everyone is gone at the same time. Also, my mom lives next door and is retired so she’s able to stop by as well. Once your pets stay begins, we attach a custom ID tag to their collar that includes our contact information as an added safety measure. We have a fenced yard and 2 guaranteed companions for your pet to enjoy during their stay with us. Plus there’s always someone around to give them some extra love while you’re apart. We can easily crate your pet if preferred, as well. We’re happy to accommodate specific requests to ensure that your pets have the best care and experience possible.
“Jill is such an incredibly nice person and really cares about the health and happiness of the animals she takes care of. She treated my boys so well and went above and beyond for me during her visits. I really appreciate her service and would absolutely book again.”

About: Hello! My name is Riley and I work as a veterinary assistant in an emergency animal hospital. For the past two years, I’ve cared for pets of every size, age, and temperament in fast paced, high stress situations. I’m also in college to become a veterinary technician, with plans to continue on to veterinary school. I have hands‑on experience with dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and many other species. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, medication, or a calm and confident handler, I’m here to help. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority, and with my background in emergency care, you can feel completely at ease knowing your loved one is in safe hands. I work three days a week doing 12‑hour shifts, and I take my college classes online, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. I’m available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and I love having extra time to spend with pups who need attention, play, or company throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and their environment calm and safe. With my background as an emergency veterinary assistant, I’m trained to recognize early signs of illness or stress, administer medications correctly, and handle pets with medical or behavioral needs confidently. I follow all care instructions exactly as given. Feeding schedules, medication routines, crate preferences, and walking routes. I also always make sure doors, gates, and enclosures are secure. My goal is to respect your home, maintain your pet’s normal routine, and provide attentive, medically informed care so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

Woodbourne-Hyde Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Valerie is absolutely wonderful and truly goes above and beyond! She not only took excellent care of Luna, but also did thoughtful extras like vacuuming the carpet — something she absolutely did not have to do and was so appreciated! Luna is extremely shy and usually hides, often making it difficult for anyone new to connect with her. Valerie was incredibly patient and gentle, giving Luna the time, attention, and calm presence she needed to feel comfortable. It honestly means so much to find someone who can build trust with her, and Valerie did exactly that. She is very responsive, reliable, and clearly genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I feel very confident recommending her and will absolutely use her again. We are so grateful to have found her!

I have been hiring Sydney to watch my cats when I go out of town for years now. She is always very communicative, efficient, and delivers consistent service. I really feel confident my cats are being well cared for and she sends the best updates and photos. I couldn’t recommend her enough. So thankful to have her.
