About: I've always been a huge animal lover, and pet sitting started because I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. My first job was caring for a family friend's dog, and I'd happily make the trip over after school to feed them, take them on long walks or runs around the pond, and make sure they got plenty of attention and exercise. It never felt like work—it was something I looked forward to every day. That experience sparked a love for pet care that has stayed with me. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy, an energetic adult dog, or a senior pet who needs extra patience and attention, I treat every animal like they're my own. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind that they're in good hands. Pet care has been part of my routine for the past 4½ years. I work a regular full-time job, but I come home on my lunch break for walks, potty breaks, and check-ins. Outside of work, I'm usually home, so evenings and weekends are spent with the pets I'm watching. My boyfriend—who also happens to be my neighbor—is home much of the day and loves dogs just as much as I do. We actually met because the Frenchie I was watching wandered into his house (saw a tennis ball!) , and the rest is history! Between the two of us, pets get plenty of company and attention. I'm pretty low-key and spend a lot of time at home, so pets get plenty of company. I enjoy going on long walks, so I'm happy to keep active dogs exercised. I stick to each pet's normal routine and make sure they're comfortable, well cared for, and getting the attention they need.

Fabulous sitter. Amanda stepped up for me for a last minute five day trip. She saw my cat George once a day to feed, water, scoop litter box, send photos, play with and provide time outdoors. Shaelyn is amazing. My dog is “not great” with new people but she has gone out of her way to establish a great relationship with him. She has helped us learn how to support his behavior and he has been happier since meeting her. On the human end, it is a delight to have her stop in and I literally think I would be content to hire her just to visit me as she is a nice person to have drop in on a day. She is willing to engage my child who always looks forward to seeing her also. When in went away for a week it really made my time smooch better knowing I didn’t have to worry about the dog and cats at all because I had full faith she would take better care of than than I do. So kind and trustworthy- couldn’t recommend more as a pet-sitter or as a person!
Did a good job of taking care of our cat while we were gone. She got fed twice a day and I didn’t have to think about it. She even did a good job being flexible when a family emergency came up and my parents were not able to watch the dog so she jumped in and helped take care of him by letting him out and making sure you sure he was fed we could get back home. Overall, she did a good job and she asked clarification questions as needed.

Dorothy was fantastic! The meet and greet went great and she kept in communication the whole time we were gone. She was prompt about making sure the house was secure. Our cat normally roams outside, but she noticed he was hanging out under cars in the front, which is not normal, and she made sure to get him out from under and back inside. She was very nice and very responsible. We will def book her again.
