About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I grew up caring for and loving animals of all kinds. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, and will always give them the best care and attention. I'm PAWSITIVE that your pupper will love me. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can accommodate virtually any pet-walking or visit appointments, Monday through Friday. I also have limited availability on weekends. I can't wait to meet your best friend! I will always treat your best friend with respect and love. About: My partner Anthony and I have extensive pet care experience through house sitting for several families, caring for a wide variety of dogs with different needs and personalities. We've looked after dogs who require a high level of care, including administering medication, following strict routines, and maintaining consistent feeding and walking schedules. We've also cared for easy-going pets who simply need companionship, exercise, and lots of love. We pride ourselves on being attentive, reliable, and adaptable, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Erin works close to home, so she can come back and care for the dogs during the workday. I am available for boarding on weekends, depending on my schedule. We will make sure your dog is well taken care of! We have a fun, friendly, energetic dog to keep your dog company. We have a partially fenced-in yard, but I will never leave your dog outside alone. We only want to accept dogs that do well/get along with other dogs for the safety of our dog, Ozzy, and ourselves.
