About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

I’m that crazy cat lady that will pick up an injured cat off of the side of the road or in the neighborhood that needs help because as human beings we are here to help the helpless and give them a voice. Hello, I foster and help out with the stray community of cats. I am very into TNR trap neuter release I think as human beings we are here to help the helpless and give these animals a voice. I care for my animals on a daily basis. Make sure my dogs are walked, played with and make sure their emotional needs are taken care of. About: Our dogs were very well trained - we have dog sat many times for neighbors, We have a passion for dogs and take time to make sure they feel safe and happy. About: I have had animals my whole life. Mostly cats, dogs and rats. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, so I am comfortable giving insulin injections if needed. I also have two cats currently that require daily pills, so I have experience in that as well. If your pet requires anything else specific to keep them happy and healthy, I am happy to learn their needs and routines. I am currently an artist that sells my work online and at some in person events. This generally leaves me with a lot of flexibility during the weekdays and weekends where I am not at events. I will keep my availability up to date so that it can accurately show when I am able to come check on your fur baby. I think its most important for your pets to feel safe with me, so I always try to introduce myself slowly and maintain any routines your household has developed for them. I am also happy to send daily photos as I check in, that always makes me feel better when I am away from my cats, so happy to do that or anything else to have you feel good about leaving your furry family in my care.

About: I have been trusted by many friends and family for years to provide dog care services. I have watched multiple dogs, big dogs, dogs that take meds, anxious dogs, etc. I am willing to walk, check in, or stay nights if needed. With summer my weeks are random. Most weeks I will be free unless already booked. I do online classes so am able to spend a decent amount of time watching dogs. I have watched many dogs in the past. I should be able to do whatever is needed regarding care for the dog. I am happy to help.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats at home. My family has always been heavily involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation. I typically work early in the morning and only a couple days per week, there is nearly always someone in my house, if you were to board with me. I typically work from approximately 4am-9am and spend the days with my toddler after I’m off. Your pet would spend the day either by playing in the yard, going on an adventure, or enjoying a relaxing day on the couch. I want your pets to have the most relaxed experience possible while they’re away from home. My yard is completely fenced in and my two dogs, (a 35lb beagle mix and a 50 lb shepherd mix) love other dogs and will be happy to keep your pup company. We also have plenty of space if your pup would prefer some quiet time.

About: Things to know about me: 1. I’ve been dog-obsessed since before the age of 5. I’m now 40(ish), and still have to control my natural and immediate impulse to pet every dog I see. And cats…and goats. Mostly dogs. 2. I have extensive experience with dogs of all kinds. I spent years volunteering at the SPCA. I’ve fostered, dog-sat, socialized and walked all kinds of dogs - large to small, long to short, elderly to puppies. I’ve been bitten more times than I care to admit, and I’ve still NEVER met a dog I don’t like. 3. They belong indoors, in the bed, and on the furniture. They deserve the cheese tax and also the chicken tax. There’s no such thing as a bad dog. I said what I said. In short, if you’re in or around the Dayton area and you need a walker or a day-sitter, I’ll be happy to. And I’ll love your dog like they’re my own while I’m with them. I’m currently available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the day. I’m occasionally available on weekends during the day, although that availability is a little more infrequent. I’m available to walk and play with your dog, let them out, give treatos or feed as needed, and work on leash training and basic commands if needed.

About: I have a lifelong history of caring for aninals, wether it be on the farm as a kid or the five years of experience in veterinary medicine. I love playing, snuggling and learning the personality of all animals. With this combination of experinece and love I am the perfect fit for any family needing a sitter.
