I have had dogs of my own since 1999. Before joining Rover, I dog sat for family members in my home and in theirs as my work schedule allowed. Since joining Rover, I have been pet sitting a lot more! I I completed dog behavior training while volunteering for a local pet rescue.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was Valerie’s third time staying with our pups, and at this point, I truly can’t imagine having anyone else care for them. She is absolutely wonderful. There is such incredible peace of mind in being able to leave home knowing that the dogs are not only safe and well cared for, but genuinely loved while we’re away. Valerie treats them like they’re her own, keeps us updated, and takes such great care of both them and our home. Our pups know her, love her, and are completely comfortable with her — which means everything to us. Being able to travel without worrying about what’s happening at home is priceless, and Valerie gives us that gift every single time. She is dependable, caring, trustworthy, and simply an exceptional pet sitter. After three wonderful experiences with her, she has become our person for the pups. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her and cannot recommend her highly enough!
Valerie is the best!! She looks out for the dogs and their home. When our 95-lb boy drank his water too fast and proceeded to expel the contents of his stomach to the floor, she stayed behind to clean up the mess and make sure he was okay. She has been a huge blessing for us.
Valerie is by far the best dog sitter around! Shes so loving towards our animals and gives them the attention they need while we are gone!
Valerie is absolutely amazing! Our cat is incredibly shy, but she gets so excited whenever she knows Valerie is coming—which says everything. Valerie spends extra time with her, gives her so much love and attention, and treats her like she’s her own. Knowing she’s not just being cared for, but genuinely loved while we’re away means so much to us. Valerie is simply the best, and we couldn’t recommend her more! ❤️🐾
Valerie was wonderful with our cat! She is lovely and kind and very patient with our senior sassy girl. Excellent communication and we will absolutely book with Valerie again for future drop ins.

Schedule
I have a fairly open schedule at this time. While I will be doing pet care part time, most engagements should work with my schedule. With Rover, you are most likely to find me available by planning one to two months ahead.

- Please let me know any special details about your pup. What do they like? Do they warm up to strangers easily? What reaction do they have when they encounter another dog on a walk? Do they get treats? How often do they need to go out? All of this information will help me do the best I can with your pet.
