“My dog doesn’t deal with change very well but she has gone to being very stand offish to allowing Nikki to leash and walk her. She doesn’t pull on the leash for Nikki like she does for me. I’m unable to walk Sassy and am thankful I found Nikki on Rover. Nikki pays attention to Sassy and has helped her deal with har anxiety. I know Sassy is getting the best care while Nikki has her. About: I have watched dogs ever since I was little. I started with a family friends two huskies. They loved to run in their yard and would come visit us on days that we weren't watching them by jumping the fence. When I was 10 or 11 we got our first dog and then we got another a few years later. My wife and I now have three dogs all of which are rescues. I can help with any animals so long as I have a few days heads up that you need help. I have experience watching pretty much every kind of pet from snakes to horses. If you need your dog, or even your cat, walked than I will be happy to help. I can even just stop by to make sure that everyone has a chance to go outside throughout the day. I can stop by and just sit with your pets or I can take them out into the yard and run or throw the ball with them. I am also happy to take them out on long or short walks depending on the pets needs and age. If anybody need medicine I have plenty of experience giving it to them as well as giving dogs physical therapy while recovering from surgery.

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: Our dogs were very well trained - we have dog sat many times for neighbors, We have a passion for dogs and take time to make sure they feel safe and happy. We will spend a lot of time playing with the dogs indoors and outdoors. We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for the dogs to play. Will comfort older dogs and dogs with less energy. I have also been around cats both young and older for 30+years. I will treat your fur baby like my own. Would love to help out with your beloved pets! My husband stays at home and I work a part time job. We will be home and able to be with your pets all of the time. We have a fenced in yard and outdoor camera to ensure you pets are safe and secure! We live in a nice neighborhood where we all look out for each other. We are excited to watch your dog or dogs by loving on them, walking them several times a day, giving them love and comfort throughout the day and night. We have a secure fenced in back yard, We also have cameras up around the home, We have references from neighbors, past and current clients that we have cared for their dogs.

About: I have had dogs my entire life from puppyhood to senior years! Since age 9, I have been able to be graced with having cats and now have one of my very own who gets whatever she wants. I love pets more than anything and would be honored to take care of yours just as I do mine. About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
