About: I’m a lifetime dog owner with hands-on experience caring for family and friends' pets. I know exactly how to handle both the chaotic energy of puppies and the gentle, slow-paced needs of senior dogs. About: My mother has a dog sitting business called Your Place or Mine that I help her with regularly. I got on Rover to make some extra money while I'm in college. Furthermore, I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. Even now I have two of my own dogs. Since my Mom's more experienced with watching animals, she may help me with jobs from time to time. I work part-time and also go to school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to stay with your pet(s) and check on them. I'll check on your pet(s) periodically and care for them as I'm instructed. I also have prior experience caring for older animals and animals who take oral medications or shots.

About: I was born an animal lover. From growing up with a family dog to volunteering at the Humane Society to working as an Equine Therapy Intern, I have experience caring for animals of all kinds. Animals are a very important part of my life and always will be. I recently graduated from college and moved back home to save up for grad school. As of right now, I am fully available to care for your pets any time! The most important thing about pet care for me is taking the time to build a relationship with them. Just like us, every animal has their own personality, quirks, and boundaries. It takes way more than just taking them on a walk or letting them outside to build trust and truly care for them the way they deserve to be cared for.

I am also very patient with shy or nervous dogs and take the time to help them feel comfortable and build trust. I plan on dog sitting/ walking during all my breaks from school. I am free everyday during those breaks. The only thing that would get in my way is volleyball practices, but these are only 2 hours and not a daily thing. I make sure the pet feels comfortable around me and welcomes me into their house. If the pet is at my house I will also be welcoming and make sure they adapt to the environment.

About: Most dogs on Rover are booked for walks. What I offer is different. I provide structured running for dogs who seem to outpace a normal routine and do best with consistent physical output. Runs take place on repeat neighborhood routes at a steady, controlled pace with pickup and return from your home. The focus isn’t speed or exhausting your dog. It’s creating a predictable rhythm that stays consistent from week to week. Many owners notice their dogs settle more easily at home and carry themselves more calmly after consistent runs. This service is best for dogs that: • Enjoy running and sustained activity • Are comfortable in public environments • Can safely maintain a brisk pace • Do better with routine and consistency A typical session is simple: 1. Pickup from your home 2. Structured run on an established route 3. Return home with a short update and video Not every dog is the right fit and that’s okay. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and tell me about your dog. I work on a scheduled weekly rhythm rather than last-minute bookings. Sessions are planned in advance and work best when dogs stay on consistent days and times from week to week. *Most dogs settle into a twice-per-week schedule once their rhythm is established. Safety comes first. I work one-on-one with dogs, use the established neighborhood routes and maintain a steady, controlled pace throughout each session. Sessions are kept structured and never pushed beyond what is appropriate for the individual dog.

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid, considering our house has always been a zoo lol. I love fur babies and I will absolutely send you way to many pics. I currently work at my winter job but in the summer times I always pet sit for my neighbors for extra money, so i am available a lot. I will always make sure your pet is fed and happy. About: I grew up with animals and as a parent now love to share my love of animals With my children. I am Flexible and willing to be as accommodating as I possibly can for all the pet owners seeking assistance with their pets. I do this because I know how scary it can be leaving your pet somewhere and not knowing. I also know how scary it can be to leave your pet while you are away. I do my best to stay in contact with all my clients and offer plenty of photos. I am very versatile and have experience with a lot of different pets. I am active and love bringing the pets I care for along with me for walks or out around town (as long as the clients are comfortable) I want their experience in my home and with me to mimic their normal every day routine in their home. I feel that lessens their anxiety. It’s incorporated into my daily as I make adjustments. Normally if I need to go somewhere I am sure that I understand from the owners if their pet is able to stay out or if they would prefer that their pet be put in a safe place so they don’t decide to become mischievous while I run errands. I also offer the opportunity for them to come with me if they enjoy car rides. Again what’s most important to me is keeping the pets routine as closely aligned to their normal routine at home. In order to ensure that the pets I care for are happy and healthy while in my care I am sure to get a clear understanding of how their routine normally works and I ensure that I align their routine at my house to that. This helps alleviate anxiety and fear when being in a new place.
