About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. We are responsible pet owners and believe in keeping them healthy, loved, safe, and part of our pack! I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!

About: - I am Cat and Dog First Aid and CPR certified. (Through the American Red Cross). - I'm currently in classes for a CCPDT dog trainer certification. - Volunteered at the Clark County Animal Welfare League. Trained on several walking procedures for the past several years. This also allowed me to handle several different types of dogs and personalities. - My wife (shown in picture) will also be available to assist. Two people for the price of 1!. I am a full time Math Teacher and my wife is a full time school psychologist. During the week we go to work around 7 am, and are home by 3:30 pm. We are available most weekends to devote our full time and attention to dogs. During the summertime, we are available all the time! My wife or I offer the ability or flexibility to care for your canine in your home if available. We will adapt to whatever your animals needs and routines. If there is a training service you'd like implemented, you just let us know! (Walk training, feeding, etc..). At our home during boarding we allow dogs on all furniture (including beds) if that is something you are ok with! There is a backyard where the animal can be let out to use the restroom. Several parks nearby and dog parks to exercise the dog. A basement and extra bedroom where the dog could be crated (we have a large crate suitable for all dog types). If not crate trained, that works as well. I am capable of working with any type of dog behavior so far in my career regardless of size or situation. My wife is excellent with with medium dogs that are high energy.

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

Smoke and Bandit are 14 years old move slow (Smoke also has arthritis and she kept an eye on him) and Jennifer was very patient in walking them. She was able to help me out on short notice the first week when my mom needed assistance with her dogs so I could take care of work and my work travels. She helped my mom for about 3 weeks in total. She was extremely flexible and always provided pictures and videos of the kiddos so I could follow along while I was not available. She kept me up to date every day with multiple reports on how they were doing. She was extremely easy to communicate with and always very quick with her responses (which I am grateful for). She went out of her way to make sure they got their medication and even picked up a prescription for Smoke while I was out of state. I can’t recommend Jennifer enough and will definitely use her again in the future!!”

About: Most dogs on Rover are booked for walks. What I offer is different. I provide structured running for dogs who seem to outpace a normal routine and do best with consistent physical output. Runs take place on repeat neighborhood routes at a steady, controlled pace with pickup and return from your home. The focus isn’t speed or exhausting your dog. It’s creating a predictable rhythm that stays consistent from week to week. Many owners notice their dogs settle more easily at home and carry themselves more calmly after consistent runs. This service is best for dogs that: • Enjoy running and sustained activity • Are comfortable in public environments • Can safely maintain a brisk pace • Do better with routine and consistency A typical session is simple: 1. Pickup from your home 2. Structured run on an established route 3. Return home with a short update and video Not every dog is the right fit and that’s okay. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and tell me about your dog. I work on a scheduled weekly rhythm rather than last-minute bookings. Sessions are planned in advance and work best when dogs stay on consistent days and times from week to week. *Most dogs settle into a twice-per-week schedule once their rhythm is established. Safety comes first. I work one-on-one with dogs, use the established neighborhood routes and maintain a steady, controlled pace throughout each session. Sessions are kept structured and never pushed beyond what is appropriate for the individual dog.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a kid, considering our house has always been a zoo lol. I love fur babies and I will absolutely send you way to many pics. I currently work at my winter job but in the summer times I always pet sit for my neighbors for extra money, so i am available a lot. I will always make sure your pet is fed and happy. About: I grew up with animals and as a parent now love to share my love of animals With my children. I am Flexible and willing to be as accommodating as I possibly can for all the pet owners seeking assistance with their pets. I do this because I know how scary it can be leaving your pet somewhere and not knowing. I also know how scary it can be to leave your pet while you are away. I do my best to stay in contact with all my clients and offer plenty of photos. I am very versatile and have experience with a lot of different pets. I am active and love bringing the pets I care for along with me for walks or out around town (as long as the clients are comfortable) I want their experience in my home and with me to mimic their normal every day routine in their home. I feel that lessens their anxiety. It’s incorporated into my daily as I make adjustments. Normally if I need to go somewhere I am sure that I understand from the owners if their pet is able to stay out or if they would prefer that their pet be put in a safe place so they don’t decide to become mischievous while I run errands. I also offer the opportunity for them to come with me if they enjoy car rides. Again what’s most important to me is keeping the pets routine as closely aligned to their normal routine at home.
