About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. We are responsible pet owners and believe in keeping them healthy, loved, safe, and part of our pack! I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!

About: I have been a long time pet owner. On Oct. 17, 2023 I lost my little dog Neil. He was 12 years old and meant the world to me. He was my faithful companion and travel partner. Before moving to Ohio in November 2023, I spent the past 3 years living in Mexico volunteering with a rescue organization which gave me an even broader insight into caring for animals. I apply that knowledge and care to other animals. I am a mother and grandmother to humans, but I love my pets like they are my children. You can expect the same love, care and treatment of your pets when I care for them. I have experience with dogs and cats ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors; pets requiring medical care to very active ones. I’m certain that I can care for your fur baby, too. I am a stay at home grandma that has free time during the day making me available for drop-in checks, play dates and walks with your pet. Visits after 4pm can be arranged with advance notice. My time is my own, making it easy to care for your pet in their own home, be it for a day or for the length of your vacation. I will care for your pet at your home according to your specific instructions. I ask that pets be up to date on all vaccinations. Any food or treats that you would like your pet to have should be provided by you. I do not provide those due to the potential risk of allergies and/or special dietary restrictions your pet may have.

About: I grew up with pets and care for a dog and 2 cats at my own place. My dog is an elder with a prior back surgery, so I’m no stranger to disabilities, giving medicine, and even expressing bladders. I’m an animal lover; I work a full time job but would love to provide weekend care for your smaller family members! I work a full time job during the week. Outside of work hours, I’m caring for my own pets. Weekends will be the best availability for me to be able to care for your pets! I dont offer care in my own home due to the stress it will put on my older dog. However, care in your home will look like whatever you would like it to look like. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 and have had animals my whole life. I have volunteered at many shelters and fostered previously. I have experience with older, shy, more understanding needed animals. We are used to training puppies so can keep up with any needed continued care. I work from home and am able to give my full attention to your fur baby. I can move my breaks around for bathroom or attention breaks. My 5 year old GoldenDoodle will keep them company all day, as well. We have a fenced in yard and will keep your animal safe and loved. During walks if desired we have a fully sidewalked neighborhood. We have couch covers for the dogs to be able to get on the furniture if desired. If coming to your home I will leave everything as you left it, with the exception of your animal feeling relieved and loved.

I’d love to hang around all your animals to! Pet care fits into my routine by my flexible schedule I work with merchandising which allows me multiple hours in between shifts to do on walks, or just hang out with animals for a bit! In my clients homes we will go on walks with leashes, I will follow the directions that are also given to me by the owners of the animals to insure they stay safe!

About: Hi! My name is Andrea and I’d love to hang with your pup! My preference is to house sit for you as I’m currently in a condo that might limit my availability to watch your fur baby in my home, but I’m open to discussing! I work remote, so my job allows me to work anywhere. It’s a win/win for you and me. If I go anywhere, I won’t be gone long or I’ll take them with me. I’ve had dogs in my family for all of my life. I had my own baby for almost 15 years and had to say goodbye a couple years ago (he’s pictured in the red wagon on my profile). I’d love to have another dog, but I haven’t found the right one yet. So in the meantime, I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family and found that I love it! I love all dogs and will love your furbaby as my own! I’m flixible and available last minute most of the time! My schedule is flexible. Because I work remote/from home, we’ll have plenty of play time. It also means less alone time and/or kennel time for your pup. I don’t have an enclosed yard, but I enjoy taking breaks from work to go for walks. And I promise your pup won’t be ignored. I can crate if needed, but I’d much rather take them for a ride in my car if I have to go anywhere.

About: I have a lifelong history of caring for aninals, wether it be on the farm as a kid or the five years of experience in veterinary medicine. I love playing, snuggling and learning the personality of all animals. With this combination of experinece and love I am the perfect fit for any family needing a sitter. About: Things to know about me: 1. I’ve been dog-obsessed since before the age of 5. I’m now 40(ish), and still have to control my natural and immediate impulse to pet every dog I see. And cats…and goats. Mostly dogs. 2. I have extensive experience with dogs of all kinds. I spent years volunteering at the SPCA. I’ve fostered, dog-sat, socialized and walked all kinds of dogs - large to small, long to short, elderly to puppies. I’ve been bitten more times than I care to admit, and I’ve still NEVER met a dog I don’t like. 3. They belong indoors, in the bed, and on the furniture. They deserve the cheese tax and also the chicken tax. There’s no such thing as a bad dog. I said what I said. In short, if you’re in or around the Dayton area and you need a walker or a day-sitter, I’ll be happy to. And I’ll love your dog like they’re my own while I’m with them. I’m currently available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the day. I’m occasionally available on weekends during the day, although that availability is a little more infrequent. I’m available to walk and play with your dog, let them out, give treatos or feed as needed, and work on leash training and basic commands if needed.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs. I have socialized puppies for professional dog trainers. I walk dogs for friends and family, and several families rely on me to pet sit and scoop poop. About: I have taken care of family pets since I was a child. As an adult, I have invested my time in rescuing pets that need a little extra time and attention. Currently I have two dogs, Chuck Norris & Winchester, who I adopted from local rescus. I have spent the last 4 years working with Norris on extreme separation anxiety and special dietary needs. My hope is that I can continue helping animals by assisting y'all here on Rover with your pet care needs! If you hire me, I promise your fur babies will be given the time, care and respect I give to mine. I work as a care coordinator, allowing me the ability to make my own schedule. That means I am able to care for your pets at all times throughout the day :) I do not bring pets into my home but will come to yours as many as 3 times per day. I will accept same day bookings but prefer for at least 24 hours notice.

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs. I want to ensure that they feel as safe, comfortable, and well-loved with me as they do with you! I'm currently taking some online classes, so my schedule is pretty flexible! Right now I have a lot of time Fridays-Mondays which I would love to spend taking care of some special pets. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.
