“Our dog Danny had an amazing time with Joe! Joe sent multiple pictures each day and was very thorough and was super accommodating with a few last minute requests we had. It was easily one of the best Rover experiences we've had and we will definitely book again. I highly recommend Joe for any pet boarding needs!!”

“Catherine was just wonderful taking care of Millie. Kept me updated with photos throughout the day. So happy to have found a home away from home for my fur baby. Extremely happy and at peace that she’s well cared for. Thanks for that!”

“Karin was absolutely amazing! She opened her home up to my puppy Bentley! She gave exceptional care to him. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable! She gave updates throughout the days she kept him and he even interacted with her dog. I give her 12/10 stars. She was absolutely wonderful and trustworthy with my baby boy!”

“Dior had the best time! Tim and Kasia replied right away to accommodate my last minute plans (other places off Rover took days to respond and said they wouldn’t board Pitbulls) I loved the clips they sent showing my dog roaming blissfully on their beautiful property swimming and watching the horses. Wonderful experience will definitely book again in the future.”

“Kristin was great! Very easy going, prompt with returning messages. She took our dog out for multiple walks. Leo seemed very happy and tired after his weekend away with all the attention he was given.”

“Meeko stayed with Jennifer for the first time last week and we were so happy with our experience. She has a big beautiful family so there is no shortage of love given to your pet. But between her own dogs and others boarding, Meeko had the best time playing with all of them and Jennifer sent plenty of photos and updates. We will absolutely use her services again I highly recommend her!”

About: Our home sits on 10 beautiful acres, giving dogs plenty of room to explore, run, and enjoy the outdoors. Set on a charming late-1800s Victorian farm, your pup will be surrounded by peaceful country views and the sights of friendly farm animals. It's a truly special place for dogs to play, relax, and feel right at home. My husband and I have always loved dogs, and we would be honored to care for yours while you're away. Every dog who stays with us receives lots of personal attention, affection, and exercise. We've recently added a brand-new kennel building designed with your dog's comfort and safety in mind, along with a large fenced dog run where they can stretch their legs and have fun. Weather permitting, each dog enjoys 3-4 supervised play sessions every day. Our goal is to provide plenty of both physical exercise and mental stimulation during their stay. Our barn kennels are equipped with dog doors, allowing dogs to move freely between their comfortable indoor kennel and their shaded outdoor run throughout the day until quiet hours. Whether they're playing, relaxing, or simply taking in the country air, your dog will be well cared for and thoroughly loved here. We love giving dogs the opportunity to truly be dogs each day by providing the mental and physical stimulation they need. With plenty of space for fetch, walks, and lots of outdoor fun, every day is an adventure. We offer both structured and unstructured playtime, tailored to each dog's personality and energy level. Structured activities may include fetch, frisbee, water play, leashed walks, tug-of-war, and more. We have recently built a beautiful facility with indoor/outdoor kennels, along with an expansive fenced play area where dogs can run, explore, and have fun. We always ensure that each dog enjoys at least 3-4 long, stimulating play sessions every day (weather permitting).
“Tara was wonderful!!! This was my first time using Rover and she was great. Tara communicated well and often and provided updates about my dogs. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my babies!”

“Sabrina and her family were amazing hosts for our 8 year old Aussie! She had plenty of room to run and lots of friends to play with while we were away. When we brought her home she was exhausted from all the fun she had!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
“We were so pleased with the care Catherine provided for our pup. We received frequent photos and updates of her daily care and activities. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you for such wonderful care ❤️”

“Chris took great care of our dog. He sent terrific photos each day and gave a report on how she was getting along. She went on walks and played with his daughters. We would be happy to use Chris again. Highly recommend him.”

“This is the first time we tried using Rover. I was more then pleased with the whole experience. Joanne was extremely friendly and welcoming to our dog. She sent us pictures and updates which set my mind at ease about leaving our older dog with someone unfamiliar to her. Our dog seemed happy when we picked her up. I would definitely have Joanne watch our dog again if needed.”

“Ryan is great! He has watched Niko, our GS mix a few times now. This last time we were gone for over a week, when we picked up Niko he was freshly bathed and tuckered out from his 3mile walk. We hope to use Ryan again!!!”

About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelor’s degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE ☺️ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I will follow all instructions on their meals and any meds they may have.
“Rosie was excellent! I can’t say thank you enough! She sent me photos almost every hour! She made sure my puppy was well! Great communicator! I would definitely come back to Rosie!”

“Our kitties were perfectly happy and content when we got back. It is such a relief that we can leave them in their home environment because of the trusted care she provides.”

“Lea is awesome! She takes such great care of our “kids”. They are so happy to see her each day. You can tell she is an animal lover and our spoiled kitties love her very much. This was our 1st time booking Lea but won’t be our last!”

“Emily is just the best. She is flexible and attentive and always takes such good care of Maisie (and me!). I feel so lucky that we found her. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a kind and caring sitter.”

“Kristin did a great job! She gave lots of updates and sent plenty of pictures so I never had to worry about my pets while I was gone! Will definitely be booking again in the future!”

About: I have cared for multiple types of pets ever since I was little from cats, dogs, turtles, and birds. I have also worked at veterinary offices assisting in care and treatment for many type of animals for over 3 years. I work full time three days a week, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pets! I am available to house sit and take pets on walks during evenings and on weekends. “Kristi always goes above and beyond. She communicates with us on a regular basis and not just with her visit summary, but extra texts and comments about how the fur babies are doing. We will continue to use Kristi through Rover, and absolutely love her!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and volunteered at SICSA Animal Shelter for 5 years, working with cats of all personalities. I understand that every cat is different, so I always move at their pace—whether they want playtime, attention, or just a calm presence. My goal is to make them feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away.

“Valerie is absolutely wonderful and truly goes above and beyond! She not only took excellent care of Luna, but also did thoughtful extras like vacuuming the carpet — something she absolutely did not have to do and was so appreciated! Luna is extremely shy and usually hides, often making it difficult for anyone new to connect with her. Valerie was incredibly patient and gentle, giving Luna the time, attention, and calm presence she needed to feel comfortable. It honestly means so much to find someone who can build trust with her, and Valerie did exactly that. She is very responsive, reliable, and clearly genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I feel very confident recommending her and will absolutely use her again. We are so grateful to have found her!”

“Caroline did a great job for a second time in a row, great communication, follow all our requests and our kitties were happy to have her visit them and feed them and take care of them. Thank you Caroline!”

I currently work at my winter job but in the summer times I always pet sit for my neighbors for extra money, so i am available a lot. I will always make sure your pet is fed and happy. Comfort of an animal is my top priority, especially when there owner is away.

About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
About: I have always had a dog in my life, which has given me a lifelong love for caring for animals. I enjoy playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog like family, not just as a job. I make sure their needs are met and that they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. I am also very patient with shy or nervous dogs and take the time to help them feel comfortable and build trust. I plan on dog sitting/ walking during all my breaks from school. I am free everyday during those breaks. The only thing that would get in my way is volleyball practices, but these are only 2 hours and not a daily thing. I make sure the pet feels comfortable around me and welcomes me into their house. If the pet is at my house I will also be welcoming and make sure they adapt to the environment.
“Tim and Kasia were amazing with our Oliver! We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! He loved being there and they will be our first choice whenever we need care for Oliver.”

“Catherine and Hubby are a wonderful team. They both love animals and they take such good care of my fur baby, just like she's their own. If you need care I highly recommend THEM!”

“As a first time user of Rover we were a little nervous but Kristin was great answering our questions and caring for our puppy for the day. He went on multiple walks, the photos were nice, and knowing he was with people and not by himself for the day was the best. He slept like a baby that night too which we appreciated! Thank you!!”

About: I grew up with animals and as a parent now love to share my love of animals With my children. I am Flexible and willing to be as accommodating as I possibly can for all the pet owners seeking assistance with their pets. I do this because I know how scary it can be leaving your pet somewhere and not knowing. I also know how scary it can be to leave your pet while you are away. I do my best to stay in contact with all my clients and offer plenty of photos. I am very versatile and have experience with a lot of different pets. I am active and love bringing the pets I care for along with me for walks or out around town (as long as the clients are comfortable) I want their experience in my home and with me to mimic their normal every day routine in their home. I feel that lessens their anxiety. It’s incorporated into my daily as I make adjustments. Normally if I need to go somewhere I am sure that I understand from the owners if their pet is able to stay out or if they would prefer that their pet be put in a safe place so they don’t decide to become mischievous while I run errands. I also offer the opportunity for them to come with me if they enjoy car rides. Again what’s most important to me is keeping the pets routine as closely aligned to their normal routine at home. In order to ensure that the pets I care for are happy and healthy while in my care I am sure to get a clear understanding of how their routine normally works and I ensure that I align their routine at my house to that. This helps alleviate anxiety and fear when being in a new place.
About: I grew up with dogs around in my parents home. Then I bought my baby 8 years back, he is the love of my life. I was scared to keep him anywhere that’s when I decided there might be many parents who have the same feeling and I decided to start dog sitting. Weekends is fine as I am home mostly except few Have a fenced yard , I have a 8 year dog and 1.5 year boys with whom they can run around in our big yard and my babied are sneaker so I am extra careful. Parents needn’t we worried at all I will keep them exactly like my fur babies !

I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child, and currently have two dogs of my own. Growing up I had many different types of pets including fish, mice, guinea pigs, chinchillas, dogs, and cats therefore I'm comfortable caring for all types of animals. I am open to pet sitting in my own home, checking in on your pet, or just getting them outside for some exercise while you're at work or elsewhere. I'm really open to anything and have flexibility because I work from home, just send me a message to ask. About: I enjoy helping friends and family with their pets and am looking forward to meeting your four-legged besties. Our family loves animals of all kinds. I am a STAHM to two littles so I am always available to spend time with your dogs, but we do require them to be kid-friendly. We recently had two older dogs who passed away so we are happy to get our dog time in before we commit to a new family pet. Our backyard is not fenced but we enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood! I took a break from dog sitting while my two littles were babies. Now I am staying at home with them and we love taking walks so I thought we would starting taking care of dogs again! We have an open floor plan house and a big yard, our yard isn’t fenced so we do lots of walks and just spending time together outside!
“Sabrina and her family were awesome, they were so good to Oliver and I know he had a blast because he came home and immediately passed out for the rest of the night! I definitely recommend Sabrina for all your pup watching needs!”

About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. Except Sunday and Monday I’m off! If I can start doing this full time, I would available all days! 7 days a week, anytime between 7am-10pm. Let’s talk about how I can help you. I provide a calm, secure space, follow routines closely, give constant supervision, and treat every pet like my own—with patience, respect, and love. About: I’ve been around dogs/ animals my whole life. I grew up in North Pole, AK. Where my father and I ran siberian dog sled teams, therefore, big muscular dogs do not intimidate me nor does pulling. I’ve been the known ‘dog person’ of my family since I was a young child I was always there to pick up and play with the puppies when we had litters and now it’s become a passion of mine to take care of people’s pets as I know it can be stressful thinking about leaving our furry ones behind in a kennel with a bunch of strange dogs and people they’re not used to, so, I would love to relieve you of that stress and assure that your fur babies will be in the best hands and be well taken care of as I would expect nothing less for my own. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends! Rover is my full time job therefore I have all of the time in the world for your furry babies. Sun rise or sun set. You can count on me! I have a dog hammock in my car with seatbelts to ensure the safe travels of your furry ones. As well as travel water bottles, food bowls, toys, and a medical kit incase we’re on a hike!

About: My mother has a dog sitting business called Your Place or Mine that I help her with regularly. I got on Rover to make some extra money while I'm in college. Furthermore, I've owned and taken care of dogs my whole life. Even now I have two of my own dogs. Since my Mom's more experienced with watching animals, she may help me with jobs from time to time. I work part-time and also go to school part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to stay with your pet(s) and check on them. I'll check on your pet(s) periodically and care for them as I'm instructed. I also have prior experience caring for older animals and animals who take oral medications or shots.
About: I have grown up with & cared for dogs my whole life. Big and small. Feisty and sweet. I'd love to help care for yours! I am a military spouse and stay-at-home-mom. “Mckinzey has been great with our pup Coco. She has been reliable, professional, and patient with Coco’s hesitation and vocalization surrounding people she doesn’t know.”

About: 5 years ago I fell in love with my dog Shiba Foxy, she is literally my best friend. I have trained her to be such a good family dog. With maybe a little to much begging for food, but we are not perfect! Other than that I have raised 4 kids and a cat! So what can go wrong? After a very busy life of working in the finance industry and being a district manager in the outside field, I took a step back and now work in a director position working from home. I find myself needing a bit more. I also love things that don't talk back, like kids. hehe. In my home we have a fully fenced in yard. Foxy in leashed in harnessed on walks at all times. It's important to abide by the guidelines that the customer wants you to follow, if they want their animals in a crate with food or treats then prefect. If they don't then that is what you follow.
About: I've had & taken care of cats & dogs since I was 7 years old! Over the past 5 years I've moved into caring for the pets of other's just as a favor to friends & family. Now I want to leave corporate America & care for furry family members professionally. I'm currently working on making pet sitting my full time job so my availability is completely open for around the clock care whether your pet is an early riser or a night owl! I prefer to care for pets in their own space as I have roommates at this time & our landlord doesn't allow pets on property.
About: I have my own chihuahua Saydee. She is 12 years old. I love being around other dogs as well, they bring me joy and happiness. I have open availability anytime you need care for your pups. Feel free to message me with questions or book with me! I would love to take care of your pup! With the given instructions on the care for your pet I can follow the daily routine. Potty, food, and will give plenty of play time.
About: I treat every dog like family, not just a job. What differentiates me from other sitters is my genuine love and attention to each pet. I take the time to understand your dog's personality, routine, and needs, whether it's playtime, walks, medication, or the comfort of being there. I'm reliable and communicative, and I always keep you updated with photos and messages so you feel connected even when you're away. Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. With me, you're not just getting a sitter but someone who truly cares. I begin each day around 7 AM by letting the dogs out for a bathroom break, feeding them, and engaging in playtime to ensure they're comfortable and content. During my work hours, I make it a point to let them outside every 3–4 hours, and I'm flexible to increase this frequency if necessary. I'm diligent about adhering to their medication schedules, ensuring timely administration, and preparing the appropriate meals for them. This structured routine helps maintain their health and well-being. I prioritize safety during my dog-sitting services by ensuring that all doors and gates are securely locked and that dogs wear their collars at all times. I use well-fitted harnesses and leashes when walking, avoiding retractable leashes to maintain better control. I also take precautions to prevent escapes by keeping dogs away from open doors and gates and using baby gates or other barriers. Additionally, I stay vigilant during walks, avoiding distractions like phone use and being cautious around other animals or unfamiliar people. These measures help ensure the dogs' safety and prevent any potential accidents.
About: I was born an animal lover. From growing up with a family dog to volunteering at the Humane Society to working as an Equine Therapy Intern, I have experience caring for animals of all kinds. Animals are a very important part of my life and always will be. I recently graduated from college and moved back home to save up for grad school. As of right now, I am fully available to care for your pets any time! The most important thing about pet care for me is taking the time to build a relationship with them. Just like us, every animal has their own personality, quirks, and boundaries. It takes way more than just taking them on a walk or letting them outside to build trust and truly care for them the way they deserve to be cared for.
About: Most dogs on Rover are booked for walks. What I offer is different. I provide structured running for dogs who seem to outpace a normal routine and do best with consistent physical output. Runs take place on repeat neighborhood routes at a steady, controlled pace with pickup and return from your home. The focus isn’t speed or exhausting your dog. It’s creating a predictable rhythm that stays consistent from week to week. Many owners notice their dogs settle more easily at home and carry themselves more calmly after consistent runs. This service is best for dogs that: • Enjoy running and sustained activity • Are comfortable in public environments • Can safely maintain a brisk pace • Do better with routine and consistency A typical session is simple: 1. Pickup from your home 2. Structured run on an established route 3. Return home with a short update and video Not every dog is the right fit and that’s okay. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out and tell me about your dog. I work on a scheduled weekly rhythm rather than last-minute bookings. Sessions are planned in advance and work best when dogs stay on consistent days and times from week to week. *Most dogs settle into a twice-per-week schedule once their rhythm is established. Safety comes first. I work one-on-one with dogs, use the established neighborhood routes and maintain a steady, controlled pace throughout each session. Sessions are kept structured and never pushed beyond what is appropriate for the individual dog.
About: I have cared for pets of my own since I was 5 and have been pet sitting cats and dogs of all ages and sizes since I was 13 for family friends. I am a college student and I pet sit over the summer, and holiday breaks throughout the year. I am available for daily drop-in’s throughout the week and on weekends. Morning/Night Check-ins would be easiest for me but I would be happy to visit more frequently if need be! Also, I can sit and play with your pet for a few hours if you’d prefer that! I have 2 pets of my own so I would prefer to care for your pets in your home! I would come to your house as frequent as you’d like throughout the day.
“Valerie has done a terrific job walking my dog Chloe. She sends photos during the walk and Chloe is very excited to see her when she arrives. I highly recommend her services.”

“Catherine was just wonderful taking care of Millie. Kept me updated with photos throughout the day. So happy to have found a home away from home for my fur baby. Extremely happy and at peace that she’s well cared for. Thanks for that!”

“We were so pleased with the care Catherine provided for our pup. We received frequent photos and updates of her daily care and activities. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you for such wonderful care ❤️”

“Ryan is great! He has watched Niko, our GS mix a few times now. This last time we were gone for over a week, when we picked up Niko he was freshly bathed and tuckered out from his 3mile walk. We hope to use Ryan again!!!”

“Emily and Kris were phenomenal! My golden retriever (4) and Aussie (5) both adored them and their son, so much so that my golden almost flat out refused to leave when we came to pick her up lol. Emily really came in clutch when My Aussie, who has a daredevil streak, ran into a branch while playing frisbee and gave herself a boo-boo under her eye. Emily took her to the vet and called me so I could be there for the appointment too, and Emily and Criz both gave Lucy her eye drops morning and night. I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter and I hope that my dogs will hang out again with them in the future.”

“Once again and as always, Alyssa was great! My guy has developed some dominance/reactivity issues since his last stay, she was still perfectly willing to take him and confident in her handling. She sent me a video after his drop off to help eaise my concerns. Will definitely use her again!”

“My dogs loved going to Rachel's house. They stayed for one night on a last minute booking. Rachel was very responsive to texts through the booking and stay, and even worked with us when we had car troubles and had to pick the dogs up later than expected. My dogs seemed very comfortable and happy there. I'd definitely use her again!”

“Kyri was an excellent dog sitter for Clover! She responded promptly to messages, including my late request for booking, and provided updates and pics of Clover while I was away. She was very accommodating for my senior blind dog and gave her medication (my dog is also diabetic and requires insulin). It was easy to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times. I did not worry about Clover's well being while I was away. I will definitely book with Kyri again!”

“Amber was a fantastic sitter! Her house is set up perfectly for dogs; it even has a a cute yard if you dogs get a case of the zoomies. I also received regular updates with pictures. Definitely would re-book if I was staying in the area!”
