“Amber and Michael did a good job watching our boys. The updates were regular, and one of our boys who loves walks got a walk every day! This was super nice of them and he clearly enjoyed the walks.”

“I have a 12 yo German Shepard. He's an old man now. We were going away for New Years and our normal sitter wasn't available. I was apprehensive about leaving him with someone new. Karin was spectacular. She was attentive to his needs and careful about his 'age' related shortcomings. She has a pup of her own and a young son who loved my boy. Karin sent plenty of pics of him and was very communicative during his stay, asking questions to make sure behaviors were normal and making sure he'd tolerate the environment there! I don't know how many stays my old man has left in him, but Karin is definitely the person I'd want watching him when I leave!”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Courtney and Jordan took great care of my dog and I was able to enjoy my trip away without worry.”

“Very caring and kind people. I had my boy, Little Buddy, do an overnight stay as a test run for when I go on vacation in a few months. I've never "boarded" my dog before. When I Google searched, most of the places showed pictures that seemed so sterile, concrete and linoleum, with so many dogs milling around I was afraid Buddy would be intimidated, overwhelmed, scared, and well, unhappy. So I thought I'd try Rover.com and see if I could find someone who would maybe LIKE having my sweet boy around. I loved Jessica and Carol's profile, especially with pictures. Jessica sent me pictures during his stay so I could see him exploring in the back yard with the other dogs, and lounging around on the dog beds. All things that he does at home! So I knew he felt comfortable. And, more importantly, I felt comfortable having him there. I will absolutely use their services again. THANK YOU, JESSICA AND CAROL! :-)”
“Derik and Megan are wonderful. They took on a challenge or what I would call a challenge by caring for my little boogie baby. They treated him so well as if he was their own. They kept me updated with pictures and text. I wouldn't ask for a better dog sitter. They made us feel at ease with our baby knowing it was our first time ever boarding him. Thank you again!”

“Sydney and I both luv Joanne and her entire family -- definitely a dog-friendly home with a fenced back yard and lots of hands to scratch ears :-) We're already re-booked for Thanksgiving!”

“Joe has been great with our dog Jake over the past few months the that we have had him take care of Jake! He gives Jake wonderful care and Jake loves going to Joe’s! He gets so excited once he realizes we are on Joe’s street!”

“Fred had such a good time! He loves going to see Catherine, and he is treated like a member of the family! Jovie wore him out! :-) Another wonderful stay! Thank you so much!”

“Catherine and Adam are incredible! Our pup got sick while we were away and they went way above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable. Can't recommend them enough!”

“Hatsuki’s care and compassion shines in everything she does. She had special doggy treats, daily walks, pics, and updates often. My pup is a nervous clinger and she made him feel safe and loved 🤎 will recommend her to anyone!”

“Emily was a great sitter for my Golden Retriever when I needed weekend care! She was easy to communicate with and coordinate pickup/drop off, and my pup seemed to have a great time in her care.”

“Jaqueline was an absolute delight! She was so friendly, communicative, and sent plenty of pictures while my dog was with her. It was clear she took good care of him and I highly recommend her!”

“Rachel and her family treated my dog very well! Look forward to hiring again. I appreciate how she stepped up in a pinch after my reserved sitter wasn’t able to watch two days before Christmas/same day I was flying out.”

“Loree and Jeff were nothing short of amazing with our dog, Meatball. They took her in for a 4 night stay on practically no notice and treated her like she was their own. We received updates and pictures every day which we appreciated so much. We highly recommend Loree and Jeff to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies and we know our Meatball will definitely be visiting them again.”

“Alysia was great with Amos! She was thoughtful about how she introduced him to her dogs and allowed me to hang around for a little while while she did so. She commented well and sent updates. Amos seemed happy and comfortable with her in her home. I would be glad to have her keep him again!”

“Rebecca was so great! My first time using Rover, and first time leaving my new puppy. She sent me an update within the hour of me leaving reassuring me he’s doing great, and I could tell when I picked him up he had a great time! Would highly recommend and will be my go-to moving forward :)”

“Our pup, Sokka, absolutely loves Ryan which is helpful since our dog has anxiety around other dogs (so kennel boarding is a very stressful experience). We really appreciate that Ryan also takes Sokka on walks and dog park visits if he's able to do so. We highly recommend Ryan for boarding!”

“Valerie is absolutely wonderful and truly goes above and beyond! She not only took excellent care of Luna, but also did thoughtful extras like vacuuming the carpet — something she absolutely did not have to do and was so appreciated! Luna is extremely shy and usually hides, often making it difficult for anyone new to connect with her. Valerie was incredibly patient and gentle, giving Luna the time, attention, and calm presence she needed to feel comfortable. It honestly means so much to find someone who can build trust with her, and Valerie did exactly that. She is very responsive, reliable, and clearly genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I feel very confident recommending her and will absolutely use her again. We are so grateful to have found her!”

“Emma was great with our cat Boris. We are crazy cat parents, and Boris is very spoiled. She gave him all the time and attention that he is used to! She sent a summary of each visit along with photos. Which, of course, all crazy cat parents need~~ 5/5 Highly Recommend”

“Miranda did an exceptional job watching our 2 kitties for 10 days over Christmas! Came back to a spotless home ( I know there were some messes to be picked up) and 2, well1, cat super happy…..the other one is just anti social, but she came out to greet us soon after we got home….will definitely call on Miranda again the next time we need a cat sitter! Thanks Miranda!”

“Bradley did a wonderful job taking care of my cat when I was gone; he took lots of great pics too! Communication was great! Will definitely have Bradley take care of my fur baby when I am traveling in the future too!”

“Lea is a cut above the rest! We always have such peace of mind knowing our Kitty is in the best hands. She lets us know if anything is amiss & takes time to make our sometimes timid boy feel so loved. We had a minor mishap the first day we were gone with our cat knocking his auto feeder over— Lea took care of it and ensured it was cleaned up and he had his food all good to go! We didn’t have reception for a couple days we were gone but felt so at ease knowing our kitty was cared for by Lea. We’re so thankful to have Lea & HIGHLY recommend her!”

“Again Beth was amazing! She really paid attention to Meeko’s moods and preferences. Gave him some cuddles while we were away for the holiday. Would of course book again.”

“Jennifer was a great vacation mom for our two cats. She filled the void of our absence perfectly. She took care of both of them, fed them, made sure the litter box is good to go, mittens even came and wanted to be played with. Pope on the other hand is a very selective cat, she only wants to be pet on her time, even with us. Jennifer left pictures each day, of how she interacted with our cats. Highly recommended to each and every cat owner as a caretaker. Will definitely book her again”

“We very much appreciated all the care that Lori provided to our senior cat while we were away on vacation. She was on-time for all visits and provided clear and reliable communication. It is clear that Lori loves animals and makes sure to give them the best care possible.”

“Thank you so much for helping me out with my pup last-minute! It seems like she had a great time with you, and that you did a lot of different activities with her. Thanks again!”

“Kristi always goes above and beyond. She communicates with us on a regular basis and not just with her visit summary, but extra texts and comments about how the fur babies are doing. We will continue to use Kristi through Rover, and absolutely love her!”

“We knew our cat was getting the attention and care needed from Alli while we were out of town and appreciated the photos she sent. We really appreciated Alli's flexibility when my original flights were cancelled.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Woodbourne-Hyde Park
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
“Catherine and Hubby are a wonderful team. They both love animals and they take such good care of my fur baby, just like she's their own. If you need care I highly recommend THEM!”

“Arlissa is THE best! My girl is a barker and she handles her wonderfully. Arlissa sends little videos throughout the stay so I can see how Valkyrie is getting along! So far Arlissa is the only Rover sitter I’ve used.I’m sure there are others that are good, but Arlissa is AWESOME!”

About: My wife and I have been taking care of our dog and foster dogs for the past 6 years. We've taken care of dogs ranging in size of French bulldogs to Siberian huskies. We have experience with high maintenance dogs and giving medications as well. My wife and I currently work from home and have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups. During the week boarding availability is best in the evening after 5 but accommodations can be made if needed. Weekends are 100% free and open. I have a larger fenced in yard and great neighborhood for plenty of walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. We have plenty of different dog toys and beds throughout the house too.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and puppies for 11 years . Had puppies and cats when younger I had to walk and feed and give potty breaks I’m currently at home most of the time so I would have plenty of time to take care of your furry beautiful puppy . I will feed play give them water I have a fenced yard that he or she can play in . I always take them on a leash for a potty break. I have two puppies at home they can play with
“Tara and her family provided a wonderful, safe, and caring daycare environment for my two small dogs. She is professional, kind, and thoughtful. I scheduled her right away to board my two dogs for an upcoming weekend trip.”
“Rachel took such good care of my dog. Millie got lots of love and attention throughout the whole day. Rachel kept me updated and sent me lots of pictures. I HIGHLY recommend her for your pet needs.”

“Stephanie does such an amazing job. Always flexible. Easy to work with. Goes with the flow even on the midst of my chaos. She puts me at ease leaving my little one with her. And what a help she is with potty training. Such a BIG THANK YOU!!!”

About: I enjoy helping friends and family with their pets and am looking forward to meeting your four-legged besties. Our family loves animals of all kinds. I am a STAHM to two littles so I am always available to spend time with your dogs, but we do require them to be kid-friendly. We recently had two older dogs who passed away so we are happy to get our dog time in before we commit to a new family pet. Our backyard is not fenced but we enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood! I took a break from dog sitting while my two littles were babies. Now I am staying at home with them and we love taking walks so I thought we would starting taking care of dogs again! We have an open floor plan house and a big yard, our yard isn’t fenced so we do lots of walks and just spending time together outside!
“Tim and Kasia were amazing with our Oliver! We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! He loved being there and they will be our first choice whenever we need care for Oliver.”

“Loree and Jeff were great with my German Shepard! I cannot say enough good things about this couple. My boy received plenty of exercise (playing ball and walking) which he needs every day. He came home tired every day which to me is a sign of an awesome day for my boy. He also received snuggles and love as well. Communication was excellent via text and several photos were provided every day. Five star rating--that's for sure.”

About: Hi! Meet us, Rebecca and Ethan 😁 We love pets! Ethan grew up with several dogs, ranging from puppies to older dogs. Our family loved an Aussie of our own for several years. Unfortunately she passed on a few years ago. We aren’t ready to have another dog yet, so we truly love taking care of our friends and family’s dogs! Rebecca is a stay at home mom with complete flexibility in her schedule. Ethan works from home and loves taking pups for walks and even on his daily runs if the dog is up for it! We live in a very safe neighborhood that is great for walking dogs! We have a fenced in back yard, and room in our home for your dog! We have a cat who honestly stays clear of dogs when we have them staying with us. We have three kids who love having dog friends come to our house!
About: I’ve loved animals since I was child. Not only am I a cat-mom to the most adorable senior cat. Over the years I have cared for friend/family’s fur babies. I also have volunteered with the Humane Society and have worked as a Pet Care Coordinator for a major pet care service. Skills: - Senior Cat Experience -Senior Dog Experience I’m currently working remotely full-time. That allows for me to be flexible for early morning and evening visits/walks. I’m also pretty open with availability on the weekends. Currently, my cat is not comfortable with other cats or large dogs, so I am only able to care for small dogs in my home. However, I will give your fur child the love and care that they would expect from their family members in the comfort of their own home. (Nobody can replace mom or dad’s love)
About: I give my full attention to each pet I care for. Taking time to reinforce training, reward good behaviors, and always remaining playful, peaceful, and happy. I treat every pet like my own child. Pets are a member of our families and should be treated just the same. Once I meet a pet I do everything I can to get to know their whole personality. What makes them wag their tail, what they don’t particularly care for, and what needs they need met. I want to ensure that the next time I meet a pet, they recognize me and know I was a fun and safe human to be around. I also want to ensure the human owners feel comfortable and at ease around me. Knowing your pet is in good care is just as important as caring for them yourself. I am currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give dogs the exercise and attention they require. I am available for dog boarding and doggy daycare everyday of the week. I walk animals three to four times a day. I, also, live right up from a dog park where I take dogs to roam and play.
About: Hi, I’m Trina. I’m someone who leads with compassion — especially when it comes to animals. I’ve been helping rescue and care for them since I was 13, and I still feel just as passionate now as I did when I walked into my first shelter. Whether it’s dogs, cats, rats, or any animal in need, I’m always ready to show up. I currently volunteer with my local Humane Society and have hands-on experience with everything from fostering and bottle-feeding to behavioral support. I’ve helped scared, sick, and overlooked animals feel safe and loved again — and there’s nothing more fulfilling to me. I’ve also been vegan since I was 13 because I believe in kindness toward all animals, not just the ones we share our homes with. My approach is calm, patient, and respectful. I know that trust takes time, and I never take that for granted. I’m new here and just getting started, but I’d truly love the chance to turn this kind of work into my full-time job. It would mean the world to me to earn your trust and be given opportunities to grow, help, and show what I can do. If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, care, and consistency — I’d be honored to work with you. About: I’ve cared for pets for 15+ years—from raising my first dog from puppyhood through senior care to loving two Maine-coon mix littermates with very different personalities. Current university student with a flexible routine and able to provide consistent walks, playtime, and visits mornings, evenings, and weekends to match your pet’s schedule. I treat every pet like my own, focusing on safety and comfort. I double-check leashes and doors, follow your routines, keep feeding areas clean, and create a calm, stress-free environment. I respect each pet’s personality—whether playful or shy—and send updates so you always know they’re safe and cared for.
About: I’ve been around dogs/ animals my whole life. I grew up in North Pole, AK. Where my father and I ran siberian dog sled teams, therefore, big muscular dogs do not intimidate me nor does pulling. I’ve been the known ‘dog person’ of my family since I was a young child I was always there to pick up and play with the puppies when we had litters and now it’s become a passion of mine to take care of people’s pets as I know it can be stressful thinking about leaving our furry ones behind in a kennel with a bunch of strange dogs and people they’re not used to, so, I would love to relieve you of that stress and assure that your fur babies will be in the best hands and be well taken care of as I would expect nothing less for my own. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends! Rover is my full time job therefore I have all of the time in the world for your furry babies. Sun rise or sun set. You can count on me! I have a dog hammock in my car with seatbelts to ensure the safe travels of your furry ones. As well as travel water bottles, food bowls, toys, and a medical kit incase we’re on a hike!

“Valerie is awesome with my pup. Reliable, kind, trustworthy. I know whenever I book Valerie my pup is well taken care of. I am picky about who I choose to watch my pup and Valerie is always my first pick. Highly recommend!”
About: I grew up with multiple animals: dog, cats, and birds. Any pets I interact with will be treated like they are my own. I currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I work full time but I’m working remote frequently and have a lot of flexibility that would allow me to be at your disposal when you need it most. I know how important is to keep a routine. I live by my calendar and keep a regular schedule that is easy to work around. I am used to walking both of my animals at the same time (80 lb lab and a 35 lb hound mix).
About: I started in the pet industry in 1999. I managed for Jacks Aquarium & Pets for 10 years. I was the livestock manager at Feeders Supply Fairborn. I also train Horses professionally and have been a member of the local dog obedience club. In addition to extensive training experience, I have a lot of medical experience and have no problem taking care of special needs animals. Also happy to sit for livestock and exotics. I train Horses full-time so my schedule is extremely flexible because I can book on days that are free. Whatever your pet needs I can accommodate. I provide safe positive compassionate handling. Pets in my care are happier and better handled when they leave me than when they began. Let me help you and your pet connect.
“Beth was terrific! We needed someone to walk our 2 dogs for an hour each day for over a week. She was there every day, on time and with a cheery, friendly attitude. We appreciate her and will definitely hire her again - THANKS BETH!”

“Brad has been a fantastic help for our dog walking needs for our golden retriever. He’s always quick to respond, easy to work with, and dependable. Each walk report card comes with multiple photos. I’d recommend him to anyone in the Dayton area looking for a dog walker.”

“Mckinzey has been great with our pup Coco. She has been reliable, professional, and patient with Coco’s hesitation and vocalization surrounding people she doesn’t know.”

About: My husband & I and our 7 children live in a home in north Centerville. We have a large backyard that is fully enclosed with a 6’ wood privacy fence. We have a great neighborhood for walks and socialization and we also have several, more secluded walking trails nearby for a tranquil relaxed stroll. Our children range from ages 3-14 and have all been around dogs since birth and are excellent caretakers as well. We have 2 family pets, a 6 year old female Lhasa Apso and a 4 year old male Shih tzu. Neither uses a crate and we don’t require any crating. Our goal is to make sure your dog enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. We can maintain any schedules you have established and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart. Regardless if your dog has energy for days or is older and prefers to snooze on a comfy blanket - our home can accommodate both types of dog. I am a stay-at-home mom so I am almost always home and I have the flexibility to accommodate various schedules and routines. With a large household it’s extremely rare that everyone is gone at the same time. Also, my mom lives next door and is retired so she’s able to stop by as well. Once your pets stay begins, we attach a custom ID tag to their collar that includes our contact information as an added safety measure. We have a fenced yard and 2 guaranteed companions for your pet to enjoy during their stay with us. Plus there’s always someone around to give them some extra love while you’re apart. We can easily crate your pet if preferred, as well. We’re happy to accommodate specific requests to ensure that your pets have the best care and experience possible.
About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
“I am so thankful for Lori's patience with my senior dog who needs a bit more care! She spent time with both my dog and cat and I could tell from the pictures that they enjoy her presence :)”

About: I’m currently living on campus at my college and I come from a company in my hometown called HomeWard Bound which is a pet-care company that is very similar to Rover. I have many months of experience which lead me to enjoy this job and wanting to continue it when I live on campus. Over the summer I will be mainly free since my priority is occupying my time with taking care of animals and learning more about them! I care with patience and trust. I allow the pet to warm up to me if needed, no forcing. I follow instructions thoroughly since I have experience from taking care of numerous amount of animals.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old! I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and have grown up in a dog household (my family currently has three dogs of our own-a lab/aussie mutt, a mini-aussie, and a doodle). I have experience caring for puppies, as well as basic training. Additionally I have experience caring for senior animals as well as dogs with special dietary requirements. Caring for dogs is a true passion of mine. I look forward to helping you with your doggy needs. I am currently training to be a professional dancer at Cincinnati Ballet's Otto M. Budig Academy. Since all my dance training is late in the evening and I have a very flexible work schedule I am fully available from 8:30 until 3:45 to pop in and play with and care for your beloved pets! My parents have always been adamant that animal-care comes before all other duties, so ever since I bought my own puppy (ironically with money I made pet-sitting) at 13 I have made caring for her the first thing on my morning schedule. Additionally I always make sure to give my dog specifically but also the other two dogs my family owns, plenty of exercise and enrichment through walks and playtime. I also make it a point to brush my dog every day since her hair frequently knots otherwise. All these habits are reflected in my care for my client's pets, if not magnified by my sense of duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the pet I have been entrusted to care for.

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful. She was always quick to respond and shared adorable pictures of Annie on walks. I asked her to walk Annie but she really went above and beyond to make sure she had everything she needed. I would absolutely recommend Michelle to watch and walk your dogs.”

“She was excellent. Showed up on time, gave our dogs extra special treatment and gave them four days of great interaction while we were traveling from out of town. Can not recommend her enough.”

“I needed someone to take my Sam for a walk because I was unable to walk him due to an injury. It was a few days since I have walked him and he was very sad.. I looked at many profiles and I chose Katie! She made room in her schedule to come by same day with not much notice. Katie arrived a few minutes early and she met Sam and he loved her instantly so did I! I will definitely be using Katie on a regular basis.”

“Amber and Michael did a good job watching our boys. The updates were regular, and one of our boys who loves walks got a walk every day! This was super nice of them and he clearly enjoyed the walks.”

“This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience! Courtney and Jordan took great care of my dog and I was able to enjoy my trip away without worry.”

“First time boarding my dog and I couldn't have been happier with Jenna. She kept me updated on how he was doing and sent me pictures. I could tell he really enjoyed his stay and will be using her again.”

“Pietro was absolutely amazing!! Maple is nervous around men but she was so comfortable with him. He sent plenty of pictures and videos and even kept her a few hours longer to help me out since I broke my leg. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Morgan did a fantastic job watching our little Theo. She was extremely responsive and communicative - providing numerous updates and photos throughout his stay. Would highly recommend Morgan for any pet sitting needs!”

“Emily was a great sitter for my Golden Retriever when I needed weekend care! She was easy to communicate with and coordinate pickup/drop off, and my pup seemed to have a great time in her care.”

“Kyri was an excellent dog sitter for Clover! She responded promptly to messages, including my late request for booking, and provided updates and pics of Clover while I was away. She was very accommodating for my senior blind dog and gave her medication (my dog is also diabetic and requires insulin). It was easy to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times. I did not worry about Clover's well being while I was away. I will definitely book with Kyri again!”

“Tammy was great with our dog Murphy. Murph had such a blast hanging out in her backyard and hanging out with her dog Sadie. We felt very comfortable leaving Murphy in her care and would highly recommend her!”
