About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I currently have two dachshunds and am also the designated sitter for three cats who belong to my brothers, so I have a love for both! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and love surrounding myself with them. I’ve had lots of experience sitting for pets, ranging from German shepherds to kittens. I have lots of experience working with puppies and senior dogs. I am currently at home full time for the rest of the summer before I start my first year at law school this fall! I wanted to have a relaxing and fun next couple of months before starting possibly the hardest journey of my life, and I thought no better way to do that then spend time with animals. I’m always out walking, especially during the summer and would love to have a cute furry friend to accompany me! Since I am home full time, I am very flexible and have the ability to provide lots of love and care toward your pets. I’ve just recently finished up my internship, so I am available most weekdays. Mornings and early afternoons work best for me, but I am flexible! I always make sure my pets feel loved and cared for. My parents travel a lot and rely on me to be with the dogs 24/7 which I gladly do. I make sure to take them on walks (long enough that their little legs can handle). I’ve realized that a lot more dogs than expected have separation anxiety, so I always try to be as present as possible for them! The same applies for cats. I understand cats can vary when it comes to personality and temperament, and that has helped me understand the best approaches for them and how to interact in a way that is respectful to them.

About: I've owned dogs all of my life and can provide excellent care of your dogs. They will get plenty of love and play time as well. I currently work from home and will be able to give your dogs plenty of attention. They will fit right in with us in our home. My dog is allowed to go outside on the leash because he is old and does not go very far anymore, but I can keep your pets on a leash while in my care. I can also crate your dog.

About: Hi, my name is Jasmine! Growing up with a dog, I’ve developed a passion for caring for animals of different ages and sizes. Now as an adult, I own a cat, and consistently foster and volunteer for our local humane society, which has allowed me to gain a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation for all of our furry friends! As an active person, I enjoy taking dogs on walks and playing with them outside. I take any and every chance to be able to spend time with your pets while going on adventures and being able to snuggle up with them as well. I also consider myself very punctual, prioritizing attention to detail, and I will stick to whatever food and medication schedules your animals have to ensure they don’t stray from their daily routines. My experience includes administering oral medication, checking glucose levels, and injecting medication, specifically insulin, into diabetic animals. I’m currently a full-time graduate student, so I have a lot of flexibility in the week with my class schedule. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! (Unfortunately, I do not have the space in my home to take care of your pets, but I am more than willing to take care of your pets in your homes to keep things as normal as possible for them!) *It is important to note that during major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.), I will not be available, as I will be traveling over school breaks, but any other time of year, including 3-day weekends, I am extremely flexible! As a graduate student, I am busy during the middle of the day with classes. However, I am readily available most early mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. Your pet's well-being remains my top priority. I plan to start with a phone or video call consultation to get to know you and your pets in general, as well as dietary and medical requirements or other general needs. Prior to the pet-sitting date, I am happy to visit your home to meet your pet and get a layout of their daily routine in the home including feeding and sleeping locations. Regardless of if I’m house sitting or dropping in, I will make sure to be there at the scheduled times to give your pet(s) food and water, and provide necessary medication. I enjoy engaging in playtime and companionship to maintain their routine. I will take your dog for walks, ensuring they get the exercise they need, and I clean up after them. Finally, transparency is crucial. I will keep you updated on your pet's well-being through messages or calls and report any concerns promptly.
