“Joanne was SO great with Marvin! After having some flight troubles she ended up watching Marv 10 hours longer than expected. She was so flexible and accommodating of our situation. While the dogs were playing, Marv's flea and tick collar fell off and got a little chewed, and she even replaced that for us! She called our vet to find out where she could purchase a new one. Joanne went above and beyond and Marvin felt right at home sleeping in bed with her. We hope to use Joanne again and would absolutely recommend her to any doggy family! He's exhausted from his fun stay with Joanne's family. :-)”

About: I have had the privilege of being surrounded by four amazing cats for the past five years (Sally, Doug, Murph, and Eddie)! My three brothers each own a cat, which makes me the designated sitter. After being with these four cats, I have grown such a love for them. Whether they are quiet, quirky, or feisty, I have experience with all and love them all the same. I also have lots of experience with multiple cats in the same house. I am currently at home full time for the rest of the summer before I start my first year at law school this fall! Cosmo is usually under the bed when strangers are in the house, so that was expected. Emily let me know that Cosmo's food, water, and litter boxes were used so I knew she was okay. She sent many photos of the outdoor cats, so I knew they were okay. Emily kept everything tidy at the house and sent me many notes on her visits.”

About: I've owned dogs all of my life and can provide excellent care of your dogs. They will get plenty of love and play time as well. I currently work from home and will be able to give your dogs plenty of attention. They will fit right in with us in our home. My dog is allowed to go outside on the leash because he is old and does not go very far anymore, but I can keep your pets on a leash while in my care. I can also crate your dog.

About: I have spent a lifetime caring for my own pets as well as rescuing animals. Now I have my own puppy and know how important it is to find someone you trust to take care of your precious pets! I work from home, so my schedule can be flexible depending on the day. About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

I would never feed a pet anything that isn't provided by the owner, unless explicitly requested. You can never be too careful when it comes to safety. Your pet's health is my biggest priority, and I would never want to put their safety at risk. **My Schedule** My grad school schedule gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. Most weekdays, I’ll only be gone 2-3 hours in the middle of the day, which gives me more than enough time to tend to your fur babies! For house sitting services, I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for class, errands, dinner with friends, etc., but I always ensure your pet receives the care, attention, potty breaks, meals, exercise, and all the snuggles they need. If your pet requires a more constant-care schedule, please discuss those needs before booking. Before booking, I always start with a phone call and an in-person meet & greet to ensure I'm the best fit for your pets, understand their routines, get a layout of necessary care items in the home, and allow your loved ones to become familiar with me. During the stay, I adhere to their daily routines as much as possible to mitigate stress. I also treat your home with the utmost respect by ensuring doorways and gates are secured, setting security systems when entering and leaving the home (if applicable), and keeping all personal items, cords, food, and small items out of reach. I also ensure your home is left clean and tidy before you return home!
About: I’ve had a dog since I was 12. I was frequently in charge of feeding, grooming, walking, and training her as well as administering medications. I have had cats my entire life and I know how to administer medication, groom, and trim their nails. I am new to the Beavercreek area and have open availability until I start school! Book me any day any time and I’ll be there! I always keep a close eye on animals to make sure they are happy and healthy. I am always on top of cleaning any messes they may make.
About: I have always had pets my whole life, cats and dogs especially, I know they have odd habits and require certain things to make them as comfortable and cared for. I also volunteer at 4 Paws which is a volunteering place to play and take care of dogs that are being prepared to help kids with disabilities. My dog that passed away in March only had one eye so I also know how to take care of animals that have a little bit more trouble. I currently have a part-time job, so this will allow me to spend plenty of time with your pup! I also only work from 3-5 hours per day and do not work everyday, making it perfect to help out and take care of you dog! I just got a 6 month old puppy, I am leash, crate, and manner training her. I am comfortable following instructions from the pets owner on how they want me to care for their dog.
About: I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Snoopy who loves long walks in the park and plenty of attention. I also have experience caring for Siberian Husky and a Shiba mix. Also taken care of gerbils, hamsters, turtles, and parakeets. I'm currently available with a flexible schedule. About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I have been training and showing my Aussies since I was little. I wash and groom my own dogs. I am currently training and showing my dogs in agility, rally, obedience, scentwork, and conformation. We compete in AKC (American Kennel Club), ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America), and UKC (United Kennel Club). Both have titles in rally obedience, obedience, barn hunt, and trick. My services could include: walks, baths (depending on breed), and basic obedience and trick training. I’m a SAHM with a two year old boy who is dog savvy and would come with me on visits and walks. Any withholding of critical information about reactivity is automatically the owner's responsibility to all liability for any damage or injury and could lead to disengagement of current and future services. I currently work remotely as an administrative assistant and am in a master's program online, so I am pretty flexible in scheduling. I will collaborate with you on what would work best for both parties on all drop ins, house sits, or walking appointments. I do not offer services in my own home as I am leasing, however, all services provided for your pet and home are approached with care and safety in mind. ~ There is too high of a risk to bring dogs into a dog park/ socialize with other dogs, unless the owner specifies dogs that are on the "safe" list so I usually skip this. ~ All food, treats, and toys are under the owners guidance/ approval to give (no new/ unapproved items will be given). ~ I do request if the owner has a specific emergency vet or emergency contact, in case something happens and I have to take your furry friend to be checked on. ~ I lock up every time I leave the house and I am happy to use a security system if the owner requests.
About: Starting in 2015, while working as a housekeeper, I became the go-to pet sitter for many of the families I cleaned for. Even after starting my career as an esthetics instructor, I stayed on as their trusted sitter, continuing to care for their senior cats and dogs alike, foster dogs, special needs dogs, dogs with behavioral issues. About: I’ve always been a dog lover and give my sweet pup Attie all the love in the world. I grew up with dachshunds and currently have a 8–year-old mixed breed, who we adopted. My husband and I trained Attie with positive reinforcement to ensure her obedience without taking away from her fun-loving spirit. Dogs must be crate-trained. I work full-time as a teacher, so Monday-Friday, pups need to be crated during the day for up to 8 hours while I’m at work. After work, I can provide walks and play. On the weekends, I’m open. I have a fenced yard and Attie, who loves meeting new dogs and making new friends. Dogs will need to be crated when no one is home and at night if not house trained.
