“Joanne was SO great with Marvin! After having some flight troubles she ended up watching Marv 10 hours longer than expected. She was so flexible and accommodating of our situation. While the dogs were playing, Marv's flea and tick collar fell off and got a little chewed, and she even replaced that for us! She called our vet to find out where she could purchase a new one. Joanne went above and beyond and Marvin felt right at home sleeping in bed with her. We hope to use Joanne again and would absolutely recommend her to any doggy family! About: My wife and I have been taking care of our dog and foster dogs for the past 6 years. We've taken care of dogs ranging in size of French bulldogs to Siberian huskies. We have experience with high maintenance dogs and giving medications as well. My wife and I currently work from home and have plenty of time to play and take care of your pups. During the week boarding availability is best in the evening after 5 but accommodations can be made if needed. Weekends are 100% free and open. I have a larger fenced in yard and great neighborhood for plenty of walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well. We have plenty of different dog toys and beds throughout the house too.
About: My husband & I and our 7 children live in a home in north Centerville. We have a large backyard that is fully enclosed with a 6’ wood privacy fence. We have a great neighborhood for walks and socialization and we also have several, more secluded walking trails nearby for a tranquil relaxed stroll. Our children range from ages 3-14 and have all been around dogs since birth and are excellent caretakers as well. We have 2 family pets, a 6 year old female Lhasa Apso and a 4 year old male Shih tzu. We can maintain any schedules you have established and will make sure your dog gets extra love during your time apart. Regardless if your dog has energy for days or is older and prefers to snooze on a comfy blanket - our home can accommodate both types of dog. I am a stay-at-home mom so I am almost always home and I have the flexibility to accommodate various schedules and routines. With a large household it’s extremely rare that everyone is gone at the same time. Also, my mom lives next door and is retired so she’s able to stop by as well. Once your pets stay begins, we attach a custom ID tag to their collar that includes our contact information as an added safety measure. We have a fenced yard and 2 guaranteed companions for your pet to enjoy during their stay with us. Plus there’s always someone around to give them some extra love while you’re apart. “Wow! Incredible! I hesitate to leave an awesome review because she was so unlike any other sitter and I want her all for my dog. Hatsuki is on another level. I went to do an introductory meet and greet. Her house was immaculate, very clean and organized. Hatsuki had printed (let me say it again, she printed a sheet!) a profile of clutch so she can make notes about his needs. Again this was just a meet and greet, she also made a thumb drive with a tag that had clutch’s name. This was so she can give me all the pictures she would take including the ones she would send me as updates throughout the day. Thank you Hatsuki you were amazing!”

I have more experience with senior dog care but I do have some knowledge in puppy training and care. I've only taken care of two cats. About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a teenager and I cannot imagine life without at least one. I have seen an uptick in requests from family and neighbors to take care of their furry friends when they are away and am always happy to do so. I am dedicated to making sure that their pets feel as comfortable in my home as they would in their own. I currently work from home the majority of the time and my wife works from home full time. Between the two of us we have enough flexibility to let dogs out in the yard to play or take them on short walks. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own, Smokey. About: I’ve had my first dog( Bandit) for 10 years. Since I was 9, I would take care of him on the daily. I would be the one to bathe, feed, play with him, and walk him. I have experience with older, shy, more understanding needed animals. We are used to training puppies so can keep up with any needed continued care. My 5 year old GoldenDoodle will keep them company all day, as well. We have a fenced in yard and will keep your animal safe and loved. During walks if desired we have a fully sidewalked neighborhood. I get an hour for lunch as well which gives me plenty of time during my work schedule to go for walks if the weather permits. I have a nice fenced in backyard, a safe neighborhood and no kids. My dog is definitely a spoiled princess and I wouldn't have it any other way. I would love to spoil your baby as well!
About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
About: I have been around dogs my entire life. I have been training and showing my Aussies since I was little. I wash and groom my own dogs. I am currently training and showing my dogs in agility, rally, obedience, scentwork, and conformation. We compete in AKC (American Kennel Club), ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America), and UKC (United Kennel Club). Both have titles in rally obedience, obedience, barn hunt, and trick. My services could include: walks, baths (depending on breed), and basic obedience and trick training. I’m a SAHM with a two year old boy who is dog savvy and would come with me on visits and walks. He either walks on his own or is in a stroller. I have a fenced in yard and all of my dogs are crate trained (Snap doesn’t crate anymore though). I can help with crate training.

While the dogs were playing, Marv's flea and tick collar fell off and got a little chewed, and she even replaced that for us! She called our vet to find out where she could purchase a new one. About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was born. Our family had pets ranging from cats and dogs to pigs and horses. I worked at a family vet clinic that gave me skills with animals and knowledge of when they just aren't feeling right and contacts of who to call. I also have pet sat for friends and family for 8 years. Your pet will become my own when I pet sit. They will be spoiled and loved and I am very good at following directions exactly. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule and am able to fit pet care in when needed. I myself currently have one cat and dog who I care for and spoil at home. However they have other family members who step up when I am needed elsewhere. I do not offer care in my home as I have a small apartment and pets of my own. However I make sure to build trust and create a safe and loving environment whenever I enter another's home. I make sure to get all the information I can about the pet I will be caring for and bring instructions with me to make sure I follow them exactly. I will do whatever is suggested to help the pet feel comfortable and loved and I have many tricks from experience with rowdy or shy animals to help if no instructions are offered.
