“Emma did such a wonderful job with drop in visits for my cats while I was out of town! One of my kitties needed extra special attention and some eye drops and she was so good with him and getting those done each visit throughout the day. She is excellent with the cats and they loved her. I highly recommend her.”

“Dorothy was fantastic! The meet and greet went great and she kept in communication the whole time we were gone. She was prompt about making sure the house was secure. Our cat normally roams outside, but she noticed he was hanging out under cars in the front, which is not normal, and she made sure to get him out from under and back inside. She was very nice and very responsible. We will def book her again.”

“Laci took such great care of my pup while I was gone at work everyday. He loved her instantly because she spent the entire visit playing with him and giving him lots of love. I truly appreciate her for treating my pup as if he were her own ❤️”

“Emma was wonderful with my cat while I was away! She made notes every day about how she was doing, and made sure to always update me with pictures and videos. Will 100% rebook her in the future!”

“Ashley has done a great job caring for our cat on several occasions while we have been out of town. Always provides good photos and updates and goes above and beyond.”

“Krystle did a great job caring for my two 5 month old kittens. She was timely in her communications and consistent with her drop in visits. I appreciated the pictures she shared too. I was confident they were in good hands and was able to enjoy my time away. Will definitely book her again!”

“Isabel is my favorite. I have used her pet sitting services a few times now and she is always super friendly, reliable, and sweet to my cats. I think they missed her more than me when I came through the door after vacation!! They do get treats from her more often anyway 🤪 she’s the best, even going as far as to let me know when my mail/packages arrived and put them in safe places for me. I’m super glad I found a sitter I can trust for vacations and small trips. Thank you Isabel!!!! 🩵🥳”

“Autumn was super helpful and was great with communication. One of my dogs is a shadow and the other is a senior and they both had their needs more than met. I would trust her with my house and animals again.”

“Britany has been so reliable and does a great job with our cats. She spends time with them playing and makes them feel comfortable while we are away. I would suggest anyone in the area use Britany for your pet needs.”

“Gracie did a fantastic job with watching our senior cat! I could very much tell that Gracie cared about our sweet girl as one of her own!! With the way she went out of her way to make sure our cat was comfortable when she wasn't feeling well, Gracie also had attention to detail for the little things to help make our cat comfortable or provide for all of the little things to make the environment better for our kitty. While also cleaning up and taking care of any accidents or sick spots. Gracie provided detail updates every day and made me feel extremely happy with leaving our cat in her care while we were away! Gracie provided a calm presence, and is a truly caring pet sitter who wants to provide for the animal she is watching as if they were her own baby! Her personality alone makes her a great choice to care for a fur baby!! I highly recommend Gracie and will be using her again in the future when needing a pet sitter!”

“Shelbi is a such a caring person. We feel uncomfortable leaving our cat at home alone (we normally take him with us) and are so thankful to have found Shelbi. She takes such good care of our cat and completely puts our mind at ease knowing he is in good hands. Thank you for spending quality time with our cat and sharing pictures - they mean a lot and are comforting.”

About: **SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE!** 😄 Hi, I am Isabella and I will be a great companion, friend & nurturer to your pets!! I love to spend time with dogs whether that’s playing with them, going for a walk, a park adventure, giving them baths, rewarding them or just hanging out- I meet all their needs at all times. Aside from that, I also keep your home CLEAN & SAFE! I am huge on safety so you will be in good hands with me. I am also happy to do small errands for you- (mail monitoring, etc.) so you can enjoy your time away from home without worries, or be less distracted during your work day. If requested, I am happy to send picture updates to show your dog is living the dream. 😄😉 I have taken care of dogs of various breeds since I was 9 years old. Growing up, I owned a Chow Chow, which was a real treat. I even loved giving her baths! She had 2 litters of puppies-sets of 6 & 8, so I got lots of joy from training & playing with puppies until they were adopted. Since then, I have done pet sitting/house sitting/babysitting for various friends & family over the years, and eventually started using Rover in 2021. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. I hope that I have given you good insight on my pet sitting experience and look forward to being your new dog or even cat sitter if needed! Please feel free to ask questions! I look forward to meeting your pet soon! Thanks for reading my profile. I currently have a very adaptable schedule and i’m currently accepting new clients and bookings at this time, although I am typically in high demand. I can walk your dog around the neighborhood or take the pet to the nearest park, if it’s during a safe time of the day and a more safe neighborhood! I am sure to give frequent bathroom breaks & always take the dog out right before bed time! I will care for your home & possessions like they are my own. I always leave the home in the same condition I arrived to or even a touch more tidy if I am house sitting.

“Karen is absolutely amazing! She is dependable, reliable, and went above and beyond what was expected of her! She took care of my babies for 10 days, sent tons of pictures to me and gave personalized feedback after each visit!”

About: I've shared my life with animals for more than 30 years, and I truly can't imagine a home without them. Over the years, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, hermit crabs, and more. Every animal has its own unique personality, and getting to know what makes each one feel safe, happy, and loved is one of my greatest joys. My heart has a special place for senior pets. My beloved Shih Tzu, Paisley, was my soulmate and constant companion for 15 wonderful years. Caring for her through every stage of life taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying attention to the little things—whether that's noticing a change in behavior, sticking to a medication schedule, or simply knowing when a pet needs extra comfort and reassurance. Today, my home is filled with the joyful chaos of two rambunctious hounds, Hunter & Brownie, and one mischievous black kitty, Batman (Mr. Meeps), who keep me laughing every single day. They remind me that every pet is wonderfully unique, with their own personality, quirks, and favorite ways to be loved. Whether your companion is an energetic puppy, a curious cat, or a sweet senior who prefers a slower pace, I'm committed to providing the individualized care, patience, and affection they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is about so much more than feeding and walking them. They are family. When they're in my care, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and attention I'd want for my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, endless games of fetch, quiet cuddle time, or simply having someone nearby who makes them feel safe, I'll meet them where they are. I'm dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'll provide plenty of love, playtime, exercise, and affection, along with regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is simple: for you to return home to a happy pet—and for your pet to look forward to seeing me again. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. This flexibility means I can accommodate your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication reminders, or simply spending quality time together. My goal is to provide consistent, reliable care so your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I believe pets are happiest when they can maintain their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I'll follow your pet's schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), potty breaks, litter box cleaning, and, of course, plenty of love and attention. I'll also make sure your home is respected by bringing in mail or packages, watering plants if requested, and leaving everything just as I found it. I know every pet is unique. Some love to play, some prefer long walks, and others simply want a calm companion nearby. I'll take the time to understand your pet's personality and tailor my care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll also send regular photo and message updates so you can enjoy your time away with confidence, knowing your pet is receiving attentive, compassionate care every step of the way.
“Minty came to my rescue and let me dog out in a last minute appointment because I had to leave for a job out of state and didn't have help lined up. She came to my house within an hour of speaking to her! She did everything I asked and text me with any issues. She even took pics for me, which made me feel so much better and relaxed!! Thank you so much! My girls thank you too ?”

“Kaitlyn is wonderful!!! Having a stranger take care of your fur babies is always stressful, but she took all our worries away. Always on time, played with the pups, took AMAZING photos & great communication. Had zero worries & will absolutely call her again next time.”

About: I am an animal lover with a bias towards dogs! I have had dogs of all different breeds and sizes throughout my life (including Rottweilers, Basset Hounds, Pitt Bulls, Doberman Pinschers and St. Bernards), and I can truly say that pups make the world a better place! I would love to walk or care for your fur-baby. I understand the sacred bond that an owner has with their animals, so you can trust and believe that your dog will be treated with the utmost love, respect and professionalism. Rain or shine, I can be available to get your dog exercised and back to your home safe and sound. I would love to meet your pet and to make your life a little easier. See you soon!
About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, and more, including the farm type! I have been doing this since I started to walk dogs around 13 years old. I have given medications, taken to appointments, and helped with simple early training. I've worked with week old puppies and kittens, to seniors who need extra attention. I'm ready to meet your expectations! I'm currently in school and only there 2 days a week! Besides those times, I have plenty of time to be a companion to your fur baby. Morning to night I can be there! In your home we'll follow what your pet is used to. Whether it's out in a fence, on a leash, in certain areas of the home or anything else. If they go to a park or get certain times of "freedom" I can do that too (if your fur baby is kept in an enclosure).

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 704 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Drexel. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Drexel. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
