“This is the first time we have ever boarded a fur baby in someone’s home. We were very nervous. Our dog has stitches and needed meds during his stay and Karin was able to accommodate his needs! She was also awesome at sending us pictures and updates. It was great seeing him having fun! We will definitely be using her again! We will even do some doggy daycare since our dogs are besties now!”

About: I have always loved all kinds of animals and will care for your fur babies just as well as I care for my own. I grew up with a toy poodle though I would have loved to have more pets. Currently, my husband and I have two small dogs but I love dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with caring for older dogs as well as very young puppies. I am familiar with pad training and kennel training as well. I would love to take care of your pets and am more than willing to accommodate their needs! I stay at home full time with my 6 month old. So, my time for your pets is very flexible. I am also able to bathe and/or groom your dogs if that is a service you would like. I have a bath price set but I’m open to conversations about that and other grooming services you would like to add. I do all the grooming for my dogs including haircuts, nail clipping, and deshedding. I have two very friendly dogs, but I do have enough space/baby gates to keep my dogs separate from yours if necessary. I have a fully fenced backyard and a very walkable neighborhood. So, your dogs will have plenty of opportunities for exercise. My dogs are kennel trained and sleep with us in bed, but I will respect whatever pet rules you have in your home.
“We will definitely use Ryan again. He and his son were great with our dogs, Beefy and Otis. He was very attentive to them and kept in touch with us often. I felt that I could relax knowing that Ryan was watching our dogs.”

“Joanne is absolutely wonderful. We left our puppy with her for 9 nights. He was so well taken care of. We got daily updates (pics and videos). We are so blessed to have received her help. We highly recommend Joanne!”

“Joe took excellent care of my Cavaliers while I was out of town. He is super sweet and chill, and you can totally tell that he loves dogs. My dogs returned home tuckered out and happy from playing all day. I am so happy with this visit — my dogs will be returning to Joe’s for sure!”

“My pups were so well loved and happy! I highly recommend Tara! She is very intentional about the care she provides, listening to care instructions and ensuring they’re implemented. Lucky dogs ( or cats) who get her care!”

“We were so pleased with the care Catherine provided for our pup. We received frequent photos and updates of her daily care and activities. We will definitely be using them again! Thank you for such wonderful care ❤️”

“Derik and Megan are wonderful. They took on a challenge or what I would call a challenge by caring for my little boogie baby. They treated him so well as if he was their own. They kept me updated with pictures and text. I wouldn't ask for a better dog sitter. They made us feel at ease with our baby knowing it was our first time ever boarding him. Thank you again!”

“Catherine was just wonderful taking care of Millie. Kept me updated with photos throughout the day. So happy to have found a home away from home for my fur baby. Extremely happy and at peace that she’s well cared for. Thanks for that!”

“Was a last minute weekend stay for my dog and quickly felt comfortable with him staying there. She shared photos of dogs playing together and was quite responsive if ever messaged.”

“Our dog stayed 3 1/2 days and appeared very happy! Monica played a lot with her, sent us pictures each day with reports and SPOILED her! We highly recommend her pet sitting services.😁”

“Amber was amazing! We have never left our dog with anyone but family until this stay but since we were out of town for our wedding everyone was going to be gone with us. Amber made Scout feel right at home, setting him up on the couch with his favorite blankets and toys when he was too anxious to lay down on his bed or in the bedroom, and she sent us plenty of updates/ pictures that we could show our son when he was missing him. Amber and her husband took him on long walks every day and got him plenty worn out to help him sleep at night, and gave him lots of love and attention which he wouldn't have gotten being boarded at a kennel or having someone just stop in to check on him all week. We would definitely use Amber's service again and highly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter! I knew our pup was in good hands and he had a great time :)”

“Emily was a great sitter for my Golden Retriever when I needed weekend care! She was easy to communicate with and coordinate pickup/drop off, and my pup seemed to have a great time in her care.”

“Words cannot express the love they will give your pet. This was my first rover.com experience and I am happy to have found a great second home for my Lucy when we travel. Thank you!”

About: I have provided care and enrichment for a variety of animals throughout my life, from hamsters all the way up to farm animals. I have had multiple jobs in animal care, acquired a bachelor’s degree that required multiple animal-related care internships, and have personally cared for many family pets in their own homes. I'M OFFICIALLY FULL-TIME IN PERSONAL PET CARE ☺️ If a pet parent is flexible with their schedule I can fit it around my other clients! Especially for walks or drop ins. I'm going full-time on pet care for a little while I am content to go for long walks or trips to a dog park, or just lounge around the house with the occasional trip outside all depending on what your pet prefers. I will follow all instructions on their meals and any meds they may have.
“Kristin was great! Very easy going, prompt with returning messages. She took our dog out for multiple walks. Leo seemed very happy and tired after his weekend away with all the attention he was given.”

Melissa was wonderful!! Her communication was great throughout the whole process. She sent pictures & kept us updated during the time Captain was there. Captain had fun & a great time playing with her dogs, just like he was part of the family. He was even allowed on the bed and gave Melissa kisses he was so happy while he was there. I would have Captain go back there anytime. She was great & I didn't have to worry about a thing. I felt comfortable & knew he was being taken care of!! I would recommend Melissa for a Rover to anyone.

This is our third time using Carey and Bonnie, and once again, we had a great experience. Sam, our Goldendoodle, is an anxious fella who struggles with separation anxiety. They loved on him and made him feel right at home, as always. We received daily updates, photos, and videos throughout his stay. They're the best of the best! THANK YOU@@
Lisa and her family cared for our 14 month old cockapoo (Nala). This was our first time leaving her with anyone outside the family. I was a little nervous but Lisa was wonderful to work with. She sent pictures often and I could tell that Nala was running around and having fun. Her children were very sweet to Nala and her daughter was especially attentive to Nala. She played with her, gave her treats, practiced her commands. We are happy to have our girl home but I won’t hesitate to use Lisa in the future. 😊

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
