About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a small child. I’ve cared for fish, frogs, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, etc. I have plenty experience dog sitting and dog walking a variety of breeds, ages, and plenty of fun quirks. Building a routine and getting to know your pet’s personality is my favorite part of pet sitting! I always make sure the fur babies have fresh water and food if need be. About: After a lifetime in the equine boarding and training industry I've settled into the small animal/ dog training and sitting lifestyle. With 1 amazing dog of my own (and occasional foster kiddos) we welcome all dog friendly breeds, sizes and tempermants of pets into our loving home. My life and work revolves around my animals and those in my care. Not only am I available for special needs pets but any life stage or temperment animal. We frequently hike, walk and train. We are a home with structure suited for any tempermant or energy level of dog. I have one pet friendly, well trained German shepherd in my home as well as the occasional foster pup. We have a small but quaint fenced in back yard, multiple large crates if needed for your pup and spare rooms to keep them separated if necessary. I do not leave treats, toys or food out with multiple animals without supervision.

About: Hi, I’m Erica. I’m 36 and I have two cats at home. I currently only accept cats and dogs and no livestock, which will have to be handed by someone else. I can’t wait to meet you!🐾 I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is the passion I and love I put into my business and the animals I care for. When I get to do a drop in and visit with a regular client I absolutely love the time I get with the animals I care for. I bring gifts, treats, and all the cuddles. I look forward to that more than the money. Pet care is my full time job. On a weekly basis I am always busy with regular clients and always accepting new ones. Pet care is my main priority. If you're pets are in my care inside my home, I do have young children (who will not bother your pets because they pay no mind). I also have my own 3 cats. My cats get along with all animals. But I can accomodate my upstairs area to your pets if they do not get along with other animals so they are not bothered and are in a quiet space with only me. I also follow client instructions for their pets to a T when its comes to their pets. Whilst in the clients home, I follow instructions left for me. Whether it be medicine times, potty breaks, feeding times, walking instructions, cleaning instructions etc., whatever the client wants for me to do I make sure it is done. If this is an over night stay all of this will still be the same. I hang out with the pets, play and cuddle with them, as well as make sure they have everything they need when they need it so they aren't thrown off their routine to much.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in grad school. Mainly took care of medium to large dogs, from puppies to 10+ years old. I have a 2 year old GSP named Miles who keeps me occupied most of the time. I work 7:30-3:30 most days during the week (regular full time job). But my weekends are usually open. I do quite a few different activities to keep my little guy occupied (and I think your pup will like them too). Activities include fetch, running, hiking, some scent work, etc. I have a 7 foot tall vinyl fence that my little guys loves to play in. I mostly keep hard chew toys around and plenty of treats.
