About: I've grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and have a special (oversized) spot in my heart for all animals. I have always wanted to work in the veterinary field and am going to college for it! I have dog sat for family freinds in the past and am very trustworthy . I'm currently unemployed and wanting to make money before and possibly during college! I do occasional babysitting but have a very open schedule right now. I respect privacy and wouldn't do anything I wouldn't want done to me. My priority is always caring for the animal and doing all that i'm needing to do.

About: Hello! My name is Riley and I work as a veterinary assistant in an emergency animal hospital. For the past two years, I’ve cared for pets of every size, age, and temperament in fast paced, high stress situations. I’m also in college to become a veterinary technician, with plans to continue on to veterinary school. I have hands‑on experience with dogs, cats, birds, lizards, and many other species. Whether your pet needs playtime, structure, medication, or a calm and confident handler, I’m here to help. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority, and with my background in emergency care, you can feel completely at ease knowing your loved one is in safe hands. I work three days a week doing 12‑hour shifts, and I take my college classes online, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. I’m available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and I love having extra time to spend with pups who need attention, play, or company throughout the day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine consistent and their environment calm and safe. With my background as an emergency veterinary assistant, I’m trained to recognize early signs of illness or stress, administer medications correctly, and handle pets with medical or behavioral needs confidently. I follow all care instructions exactly as given. Feeding schedules, medication routines, crate preferences, and walking routes. I also always make sure doors, gates, and enclosures are secure. My goal is to respect your home, maintain your pet’s normal routine, and provide attentive, medically informed care so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.
“Sara has been great with my corgi, Cersei! She is always on time and has been incredibly flexible with my schedule. She is also very considerate with Cersei and accommodating to her needs for the past few months and Cersei loves her. She will continue to be my go-to whenever I need someone to help with Cersei.”

“I could not be more appreciative of Catherine! She was very easy to communicate with, she kept me updated on when she would be there, and she sent multiple updates and pictures! It was a very last minute booking, and I couldn’t have made a better choice!”

I understand if this does not work for your pets needs, but I assure you I deeply enjoy caring for animals and your pets are a priority to me. It would be amazing to be able to support myself pet sitting, you can help me achieve that! I will care for your pet in your own home. About: With over 7 years of experience as a pet sitter, I've cared for a wide range of dogs and cats, providing tailored, compassionate care to each one. I’m known for my attention to detail, ensuring pets’ needs are met with precision, from feeding and exercise to administering medications. Trustworthy and kind, I build strong, lasting relationships with both pets and owners. Whether it's a playful dog or a laid-back cat, I offer peace of mind by creating a safe, comfortable environment. If you're looking for a reliable, animal-loving sitter, I’m here to care for your pets as if they were my own. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. Despite working full-time, I make it a priority to ensure pets receive the attention and care they need. I’m typically able to let dogs out during my lunch breaks, providing them with a bathroom break, some playtime, or a quick walk to keep them happy and comfortable. For house sitting, I dedicate my evenings and weekends to being fully present with the pets I care for, ensuring they feel safe and loved in their home environment. My flexible schedule allows me to adapt to their routines and provide consistent, reliable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both the pets and the home with the utmost care and respect, as if they were my own. I understand the trust that comes with inviting someone into your home, and I hold myself to a high level of responsibility. I ensure your pets are well cared for, following their daily routines for feeding, walking, playtime, and any special needs they may have. At the same time, I maintain your home’s cleanliness and security, handling tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, and ensuring everything is in order. My goal is to provide peace of mind while you're away, knowing both your home and pets are in good hands.
About: Hi, I’m Erica. I’m 36 and I have two cats at home. I currently only accept cats and dogs and no livestock, which will have to be handed by someone else. I can’t wait to meet you!🐾 I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is the passion I and love I put into my business and the animals I care for. When I get to do a drop in and visit with a regular client I absolutely love the time I get with the animals I care for. I bring gifts, treats, and all the cuddles. I look forward to that more than the money. Pet care is my full time job. On a weekly basis I am always busy with regular clients and always accepting new ones. Pet care is my main priority. If you're pets are in my care inside my home, I do have young children (who will not bother your pets because they pay no mind). I also have my own 3 cats. My cats get along with all animals. But I can accomodate my upstairs area to your pets if they do not get along with other animals so they are not bothered and are in a quiet space with only me. I also follow client instructions for their pets to a T when its comes to their pets. Whilst in the clients home, I follow instructions left for me. Whether it be medicine times, potty breaks, feeding times, walking instructions, cleaning instructions etc., whatever the client wants for me to do I make sure it is done. If this is an over night stay all of this will still be the same. I hang out with the pets, play and cuddle with them, as well as make sure they have everything they need when they need it so they aren't thrown off their routine to much.
“McKinzey was great! We just had her over to let the dogs out a few times and she was wonderful. She communicated well on how each visit went and she went above and beyond, walking out in the yard with out dogs to make sure they did their business, even though it was cold outside and we have a fenced yard!”

About: I have always had a dog in my life, which has given me a lifelong love for caring for animals. I enjoy playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog like family, not just as a job. I make sure their needs are met and that they feel safe, loved, and cared for at all times. I am also very patient with shy or nervous dogs and take the time to help them feel comfortable and build trust. I plan on dog sitting/ walking during all my breaks from school. I am free everyday during those breaks. The only thing that would get in my way is volleyball practices, but these are only 2 hours and not a daily thing. I make sure the pet feels comfortable around me and welcomes me into their house. If the pet is at my house I will also be welcoming and make sure they adapt to the environment.
“Monroe did a great job with my cats. They are very reclusive so she didn't actually see them, but she visited faithfully and took care of their needs. She is very pleasant and cooperative to work with. Highly recommend.”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!
About: As a pet owner myself, I completely understand how important your fur babies mean to you. I adore both dogs and cats. I have rescued my own cats and taken care of my friends' dogs( small and big ones) for years. I am experienced with oral medication administration for both cats and dogs and giving extra care for the senior fur babies. To further spread my love, care, and smile to your pets and also ease your mind when you are away from home, I will privide premium pet and house sitting services which will meet your requirements and expectations. Please feel free to contact me with all your questions and concerns and I will respond to you as soon as possible ( normally within one hour) and let's make it as efficient and effective as possible. Thank you for your considerations. I am currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and weekends after 10am. However, I am flexible enough so that we can always arrange a time to fit your schedule. I offer dog care at your home instead of mine. I would like to meet the pets and the owners first to make sure it is a good fit for us. Moreover, I prefer friendly and well behaved pets who have all the necessary updated shots records to keep both parties safe. Furthermore, please let me know any special needs of your pets so that I make sure I will definitely fulfill those needs.

About: I've taken care of animals since I have been 8 years old. I lived in a multi dog and cat household. My parents had extensive knowledge of pets and caring for animals and passed this on to me. Friends have always relied on me to help care for and watch their animals when they are in need. I am trustworthy and reliable. I love meeting new animals and caring for all animals of all shapes and sizes and ages. I generally work Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm but I work within walking distance of my home and get a full hour lunch break to come home and check on any pets I am caring for. Weekends are generally pretty open for me and I enjoy staying home and spending time with my personal pets and hopefully yours as well. I have a fully fenced yard with a six foot privacy fence. We also have three cameras in our back yard that we can see the whole back yard at all times.

I provide calm care, close monitoring, and regular updates to owners.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Carrollton
Trina was so just so amazing, and we will definitely be booking with her anytime we need our dog watched! Our dog is older and has some separation anxiety and wouldn't eat so she went out of her way to cook some chicken and eggs for him so that he would have a full belly! She genuinely cares so much about animals and wants to make sure they are happy and cared for and loved! If I could leave a 6/5 I would!! I genuinely can't recommend her enough!
I really appreciate Minty being will to work with me and take some tedious instructions with a great attitude. That really meant a lot while I was A way for the longest I have been from my pup. With my aging dog it took a little more care and Mindy was more than willing to make some adjustments.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
