Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.

Information Karin K. would like to know about your pet
Your dog MUST be treated for fleas, ticks and parasites in order to stay with me. Please be transparent with me and know that I will ask you what form of treatment you use. Your dog MUST be fixed. Let me know if your dog has any special behavioral or medical needs that I should be aware of, and we can discuss whether this is something I can accommodate. Questions I will typically ask potential clients: 1. Are your dogs fixed? 2. How is your dog treated for fleas, ticks and parasites? 3. Have your dogs been boarded or watched by other people with kids and/or other pets before? 4. Has your dog been socialized around many other dog breeds and would you describe your dog as friendly and tolerant of others?
A typical day
A typical day in our life looks like: Wake up around 8:00, potty break, breakfast House/backyard play I walk my dog around 10:00, and will take your dog, too, if dog is loose-leash trained and able to walk up to 2 miles comfortably. Otherwise, I am fine skipping the walk and letting dogs play. Around noon, lunch if needed, or small treat/snack 1-3 o’clock: Afternoon rest time, dogs can romp in house and backyard Around 4:00, I like to take my dog to a park to throw a ball. If you are comfortable, I can do this with your dogs as well. If not, we can romp and play in the backyard or take another short walk after dinner instead. 6:00 Dinner time! Evening snuggles!

Pet care experience
I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well.
Reviews

This is the first time we have ever boarded a fur baby in someone’s home. We were very nervous. Our dog has stitches and needed meds during his stay and Karin was able to accommodate his needs! She was also awesome at sending us pictures and updates. It was great seeing him having fun! We will definitely be using her again! We will even do some doggy daycare since our dogs are besties now!
Leaving a pet behind is never easy, but Karin made it completely stress-free. She was so kind, friendly, and incredibly attentive to our dog's routine. Darwin loved hanging out with Graham in Karin’s beautiful fenced backyard. Highly recommend!

Karin did a fantastic job! She was caring and patient and very conscientious ! We are hoping to use her again in the future!

Karin was truly one of the best Rover experiences I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, sending frequent updates throughout the day along with photos and videos. It gave me such a sense of ease and peace knowing my dogs were in such good hands. This was a longer stay, and not once did I feel worried—Karin made sure I always knew how my dogs were doing, and it meant so much. Her level of care and communication is exceptional. She also has the sweetest goldendoodle named Graham, who is one of the most loving, playful, and friendly dogs I’ve ever met. My dogs absolutely adored him! On top of that, her fenced-in backyard is amazing and gave the dogs plenty of space to run and play—they had the best time. If you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your dogs, Karin is a wonderful choice. I recommend her to anyone without hesitation!
