I have grown up with dogs in my family. Growing up in an English village I walked our family dogs over fields and around the quiet village. I grew up with a labrador and a German shepherd. When I left the family home I still helped take care of the family dog who was a rescued mix, he lived to the ripe old age of 16. I also had my own dog from a puppy who was a Pekinese spaniel mix. When I came to America I rescued a 5 year old husky/shepherd mix and then a 10 year old Siberian husky who I still walk about 3 miles a day even though he's 13. I have experience with young and senior dogs including those that have been sick. I have administered medications to my dogs when they have been sick. As I've had senior dogs I am very patient with them, giving them plenty of time to walk them as they need to walk. I enjoy grooming dogs, having Huskies I've spent hours brushing them at a time.

Minty looked after Oliver while my wife and I were gone for Christmas. She did a great job and was timely with all scheduled drop in visits as well as updates while were gone. Oliver was happy and well taken care off when we got home.
I really appreciate Minty being will to work with me and take some tedious instructions with a great attitude. That really meant a lot while I was A way for the longest I have been from my pup. With my aging dog it took a little more care and Mindy was more than willing to make some adjustments.
Minty was amazing with Savanna! She took care of all her needs and then some. She sent us daily pics and videos. Very pleased and happy. Thank you Minty!

Schedule
I am a teacher which means I have summer, winter, and spring vacations. I am able to drop in on pets before school within reason and after school. I prefer not to board high energy dogs or dogs that need a lot of attention when working full time as I don't think that's fair on them. I do walk dogs before walk and after school as well as before bed.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a one level home that has a fenced in pool area that has concrete and wooden decks. I try to treat pets as close to how they are treated at home so they relax. I do not have other animals at my house and only board multiple dogs from the same family. There are no children living in the home.
A typical day
We have a great park opposite our house that we explore multiple times in the day. We have an in ground pool, if pups like to swim. We also like to play fetch inside our house and sit out in the sun either out back near the pool or out front to watch the world go by.
