Hi, I'm Miranda, lover of all things fluffy, scaly, feathery, etc. I formerly house-sat on Rover during college and made life-long furry and human friends from it. Current availability for typical week: Monday - Thursday: Early AM & after 4 PM Friday - Sunday: Open all day I now have a little fur family of my own, so I can't house-sit, but can still offer drop-in services and walks. My experience with animals dates back to bringing home stray kittens at five year old, but formally begins at 16, when I immediately began volunteering at shelters and haven't stopped since. I was with Wild Again, where we rescued domestic and farm animals, but also rehabilitated wildlife, for seven years as Outreach Coordinator and animal care technician. I also foster, do fundraising for, and work with various rescues in the area: mainly Adopt a Pit and LiFeline cat rescue. I’ve pet-sat professionally for about 8 years, and have extensive knowledge of all types of animals. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, chickens, reptiles, hamsters, ferrets, pigs, flying squirrels, raccoons, you name it! I'm always looking to better educate myself about animals, and have many certifications and classes under my belt, as well as personal research I do to better my own pets' and animals at the rescues' lives. If you're looking for drop-ins for your pets, or a walk, with lots of love and care, I'm your girl! I pride myself on going above and beyond for your beloved pets and the home you love. Leaving your pets is stressful and I’m happy to help!

Safety, trust & environment
I am well versed in animal safety thanks to my experience in rescue. I'm a federal government employee with a background check, and have pet-sat for over 100 families with glowing 5 star reviews. Beyond that, I am always very careful in client’s homes and focus on keeping their home and pets safe. I double and triple check fences, doors, windows, leashes, harnesses, etc. I am adamant about ensuring no plastic bags, strings, shoes, etc. are left for pets to possibly harm themselves with as well.

Miranda was excellent! We had never left our cat overnight before so going away for a week was a little daunting not knowing how she would do. Miranda was great and sent plenty of pictures and updates each morning and evening. You could tell our cat loved and trusted her! We definitely recommend Miranda for your pet sitting needs! Miranda was very responsive and great with our dogs. She came by for a quick meet and greet the same day she provided the dog sitting service. Will definitely be calling on her again!

Miranda, checked in with our 4 kitties twice a day. She had good communication and sent us photos so we could see them as she spent time with them. She did a great job keeping up with the litter boxes and sweeping up any messes they made. She also brought the mail in for us. We highly recommend her and hope she’ll be available next time we need to go somewhere.

Schedule
I work on Wright Patterson Air Force base, and now have returned to office 4 days per week, but am off Fridays and do have flexibility in my schedule and timing. Weekends are more open.

- I'm comfortable with all animals of every size, but it's always good to know what may scare your pet, make them nervous, habits they have, things they enjoy, etc. This way, we have the best experience possible and I can be prepared.
